Riad Iklil

I spent one night at the riad and had a really lovely time! Mustafa and Zakaria made my stay even more enjoyable with their hospitability, the nice dishes for dinner and arranging my airport transfer as well. They truly looked out for all guests, I wish I could have stayed longer! The riad has a perfect location, the room was really pretty and clean, breakfast and dinner were truly amazing. Hope to be back soon!

I highly recommend Riad Iklil — not just for the lovely atmosphere, but especially because of these two outstanding gentlemen who made our stay so special. Thank you, Ismail and Hamid, for your genuine care and excellent service.

We had a wonderful stay for a week in December 2024. We felt like at home. Price and quality has a good relationship! Very kind and professional. We learned a lot of the real lifestyle, and we enjoy still of this unforgettable memories! Marrakech is not only tourism: also to learn to relax, to enjoy tee, to be astonished about history and tradition. Take a guide, you will discover much more. Even the surroundings are amazing! Book by the Riad Ikill, it’s easy and cheaper than in agencies.
We will definitely come back! Thank you! shkran!
Cecilia.

This is such a beautiful quaint riad. The cleaniness and room service staff is exceptional. All the ladies are so kind, always similing and always left are room flawlessly clean.
Special mention to the front of house, Imran who not only made sure whatever we needed was sorted but also escorted us to and fro towards the taxi. As we were on an only girls trip, he ensured the safety and helped us navigate through it well. Big shout out to Imran for his services. He always had a smile on and made the whole experience wholesome for us.

The staff are all amazing! The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful! We couldn't ask for more. The rooms are very clean. I love the free orange they placed on the center hall for everyone to have. Breakfast is lovely as well. There's a lot of places to lounge in the riad. I love the rooftop where we always have our breakfast.

Everything you're read about the Riad Iklil is correct. The only thing better than the accommodations themselves (which are gorgeous), is the service. Mariam and Imrane helped with every little detail, from getting us acclimated, to helping with a broken phone, booking restaurants, and just filling us in on the culture here.
We took a cooking class wit Laila… and then got to eat it (after her upgrades) We're convinced that it was the best meal we've had all week and she may be the best Chef in Marrakesh. There aren't enough words to say how above and beyond they went for our visit… and they do this for ALL the guests. Thank you Mariam, Imrane, Laila and the entire staff!

I can be a very difficult guest and use to hotel services so were sceptical about spending my time in a riad. Riad Iklil was a lovely surprise. The riad host Moshen went above and beyond his duties and on call 24/7. I made use of all their facilities on offer. The lovely staff made my stay so comfortable from my spa treatments to the absolutely delicious meals which also included breakfast but I loved the tagines at dinner too. Thank you Moshen on your team including Gadija and the rest of the staff. I felt like a long lost friend returning to a home. I will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful week and felt a part of the family of Riad Iklil. Marrakech is amazing and the speed is really going down like in vacation should be!
In the Riad the price and quality was perfectly equilibrated: warmly received, exact information, very clean, traditional large breakfast.
Professional by booking of day trips, and cheaper than outside!
We really felt suddenly “at home”. Iklil is situated in the historic part of Medina, about 7 min from the taxi, 8 min from the Suk, very quiet and extremely save.
The team is great! Shukra!
Mohsine and Miriam, see you soon again!

My stay at this authentic riad in the heart of Marrakech’s medina was truly unforgettable. The traditional architecture, serene courtyards, and welcoming staff made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The rooftop terrace had breathtaking views, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. Every corner of the riad was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a genuine Moroccan experience!

I had an amazing stay at riad Iklil Marrakech, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the team for their fantastic energy. The kindness of the staff really made my vacation unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation and fun in Marrakech. "

My husband and I had a very good stay.
If you want a truly authentic experience, this is hands down the place to be. Everything in the Medina is walking distance, the food is 100% home made but the highlight of our stay was the wonderful interaction we had with Mohsine. He was extremely helpful and kind and went above and beyond in order to accommodate our every need. He'll give you recommendations for absolutely anything you might need. He arranged our airport transfer as well as excursions, sim card, everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable We recommend 100%. Thank you, Mohsine😊✨🙏🏼

I wish I could stay more here. I loved the interior design of the riad. The staff helped us with everything. We felt like home. The breakfast was including many local food. We enjoyed our stay there very much. 😀😀😀

At the time of booking, we requested the possibility of an early check-in (to which no one ever responded), and we mentioned being interested in some of the activities offered by the riad. We wish we had never done that!
As soon as we arrived at the riad, we were told that the reserved room was unavailable due to a bad smell (which sounds a lot like an excuse for overbooking! ) and were forced to stay at another riad (Riad Teranga, where, on the contrary, the staff was particularly kind and attentive). Additionally, we were held for over 40 minutes and threatened to choose the dates and pay in advance (of course, only by cash! ) for all the activities we had merely expressed interest in. Feeling practically held hostage and just for being “released” and to find a compromise, we agreed to participate in only a few activities, including the taxi service for the arrival (which we had already used) and for the departure, which we hadn’t used yet.
The night before our departure the riad informed us that the taxi service for our departure was not been paid and that we would have to pay (for the second time) directly with the taxi driver.
Of course, we tried to ask for explanations, but, unsurprisingly, we have not received answer either by phone or in person, despite ringing the doorbell for over 10 minutes (we could hear people talking inside, who then literally disconnected the doorbell!

When we were planning a long weekend in Marrakesh, a local friend recommended that we stay in a Riad, which is the equivalent of a family-run guesthouse. We spent three nights at Riad Iklil, and I can only recommend it!
At first, the location if the riad seemed a bit odd, but we ended up really liking it because it gave us a chance to experience how the locals live in the Medina. For the price, it was absolutely great and we were literarily few minutes from Marrakesh Medina’s centre!
Mohsine took fantastic care of us every day and truly lived up to his name. Thank you!
We ate at about four or five places in Marrakesh, but we all agreed that the food at Riad Iklil was the best. Special thanks to the chef!
Thank you all so much for your hospitality, it was wonderful!

Everything was perfect. For those who want to stay in Medina this Riad is the best choice. The warm welcome makes us feel like our home. The staff friendly and helpful any minute. They also arrange for us private tours to Agafay desert and to Essaouira. I couldn’t ask for more.

We arrived very late due to plane delays, and were worried. However Hamza, the host was absolutely amazing. He came, didn’t even rush us to our room, told us to leave our luggage at reception, and had some tea, local snacks and refreshments ready for us after such a busy day. He then helped us settle into our room, then gave us a map and explained everything to us in detail. The morning after, breakfast was impeccable. Everything was so fresh and tasty!
Highly highly recommend this to other people.

The riad is simple but very accommodating and the people there were nice and friendly.
Tips:
— Memorize the way to the Riad. Kids there will help you but expect/insist that you pay them. Luckily, ive read some comments and when they offer you some help we’d just smile and say “no, thank you” and continue our way.
— Ask if you have to pay with cash at the riad or they already charged your stay. My partner and I had this issue, we thought they had charged us already, it was totally our fault. If this happens, dont worry there’s an ATM nearby.
