Our 3-day stay at Riad al Hara in Marrakech was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and exceptional service made us feel completely at home. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm the perfect blend of traditional Moroccan style and comfort.
What truly set this stay apart was the incredible kindness of the staff. Karima and the other staff went above and beyond to make my birthday incredibly special. I was surprised with a delicious cake, the staff singing the birthday song, and a beautiful arrangement of rose petals on the bed spelling out “Happy Birthday. ” It was thoughtful, heartfelt, and completely unexpected and the kind of gesture you always remember.
Riad al Hara created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation, celebration, and genuine hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a birthday, and we recommend this riad highly. We’ll definitely be returning!

We found this Riad on Trip Advisor and the reviews were great so we booked it and I can say is the experience was better than great. Carime and her team went out of their way in every way to accommodate us and ensure our experience was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here as it was nice to be just a few minutes out of the chaos of city center and yet still an easy walk. The room was impeccable and the beds so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. More important than that was each staff member lead by Carime. Each person was so kind and caring and we felt incredibly well taken care of. Thank you Carime! Riad El Hara has been an amazing place to stay in Marrakesh. It is centrally located and close to all major sites. Karima is the general manager and from the moment we arrived, her hospitality made this place feel like home. Our suite (“Hamdoun”) was absolutely beautiful, with fresh fruits and snacks provided every day. The food both breakfast and dinners were incredible and home cooked by a lovely team. Every staff member who worked here was kind and wanted to make sure our stay was special. The rooftop is an oasis in itself, with a little plunge pool to cool off after warm days.
Do not hesitate to book this location for your getaway!

We had a very pleasant experience during our 7-night stay at Riad el Hara.
We chose a large bedroom with a terrace; the breakfast was delicious, the staff extremely kind, and the room was exceptionally clean — they cleaned every day and changed our towels and bed linen.
The manager of the riad, Karima, is a very pleasant and friendly lady who gave us the best restaurant recommendations, helped us with good-priced taxi arrangements, and provided daily in-room water, fruit, and coffee.
I recommend Riad el Hara not only for its cleanliness and quality of service but also for its location — perfectly situated between the old city (the medina) and the new area.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 days in April. It was the perfect location to walk to the centre but also further away from the chaos and noise meaning we could sleep well.
The rooms had aircon and were super clean and had everything you need.
The personnel were amazing, Karima and the team were so friendly, accommodating and warm. They were there to help us with anything and provide us with numbers for taxis and experiences in and out of Marrakech.
Couldn’t recommend this Riad enough, we have actually passed on their details so some family can come here next year!

It was our last hotel to stay in Marocco after overall 2 weeks long trip. And it was great decision to finish our vacation with this Riad. Very calm, extremely beautiful and very affordable for such a comfort they provide. We stayed inky for two nights but would prefer to prolong it. I literally spent almost all day long chilling and relaxing in hotel — near pool, in room, ordering hammam and massage, enjoying privilege of having so few guests this weekend. I can recommend this hotel 🫶🏻

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in. Great service and felt very welcome. Everyone was very helpful. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Rooftop pool and close to the medina and the new town, very walkable. Would definitely recommend Riad El Hara.

We knew the minute we stepped into The Riad Hara that we had made the right choice! Our superior suite was out of this world, the rooftop and pool were gorgeous, the breakfast were so delicious, and the Riad was such a peaceful sanctuary just outside of the hustle and bustle of the walls of the Medina. All of that would have been fantastic but it was Karina and her staff (shout out to Mohammed and Hicham for doting on us! ) that made this place magical!
Karima went out of her way to make sure our stay in Marrakech was everything it could be — from arranging dinner reservations, a guide for the first day, a hot air balloon ride, and the cherry on top — a guide and car for a 5 day trip into the desert (a dream come true)! Not only did she make arrangements but she checked in every time to make sure ever it was all we had hoped for. Karima and her staff will be in our hearts forever!

The Riad El Hara was an oasis and one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco! This hotel was gorgeous with each room feeling like a palace. We were greeted by the most lovely staff when we arrived and offered refreshments in the atrium. The rooftop was a lovely way to end each afternoon and breakfast was more than we could eat! Everyone was so wonderful, we never wanted to leave! Plus, while not in the medina, it was an easy place to get a taxi and a good walk to Geulitz or the Medina. You will not regret staying here!

If there’s any danger in booking this Riad, it’s not the location (which is perfect, nestled between the bustling Medina and the modern part of the city), nor the service (which is flawless, with a team that goes above and beyond to ensure every guest’s comfort and well-being). The real risk? Falling hopelessly in love with the atmosphere, the people, and the experience… and never wanting to leave.
After the exhilarating chaos of the souks, stepping through the doors of this Riad feels like entering a secret sanctuary where time slows down. The decor, the scent of spices in the air, the soft glow of light filtering through the courtyard—everything invites absolute relaxation. But what truly makes this place unforgettable is the people. The care, the attention to detail, the genuine hospitality make every guest feel like more than just a visitor—you feel welcomed, valued, at home.
And then, there’s the food. Breakfast? A feast of fresh, high-quality ingredients that awaken the senses. But the real revelation—the gastronomic epiphany—came with the other meals. After trying the most recommended restaurants on Instagram and in local guides, I realized that the best meal of my trip was right here, at the Riad. The most flavorful, aromatic tanjia, the most delicious bread I had throughout my journey. No filters, no pretensions—just pure, authentic flavors.
This Riad is not just a place to sleep.

I would give this Riad 10 stars if I could. This is the most beautiful and luxurious place I have ever stayed in. Everyone working here is so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. Karima has created the most wonderful place and she is the perfect host.
We arrived to realise that we had made our reservation for 2026 as opposed to 2025 (my fault), but Karima was an angel and gave us another room. After travelling all day, this was a godsend. Our room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable and we were so grateful.
We had lunch and breakfast here and all the food was wonderful. Anything you want to do Karima and her team will organise it for you! This is the one and only place to stay in Marrakesh. We can’t wait to come back.

Stayed for a quick New Years getaway. Wonderful & hospitable Riad. Rooms were spacious with private balcony. Breakfast was amazing and substantial. Well located — close enough to walk anywhere in the medina but in a quiet location. Organised trips and taxis when we needed and Kalima got us the best seats in town for New Year’s Eve. Would recommend and return.

It's a hotel just for sleeping. Clean but uncomfortable bed, breakfast was bad. When we arrived at this hotel, the host told us It's a very safe area around the hotel, so my husband and I decided to walk to a restaurant to explore the city. Just 2 minutes after we left the hotel, a guy on a motorcycle suddenly snatched my iPhone from my hand and ran away. This happened right at the corner from the hotel.
The neighbors who witnessed what just happened helped us call the police and informed us that this kind of incident occurs often in this area. In fact, it had happened at noon that same day, and it turns out it's not as safe as we were led to believe.
I was really upset and disappointed that the host provided us with such misleading information.
If anyone reading this comment is still considering staying at this hotel, I do not recommend walking on the street. It's better to take a taxi, even if the driver charges more than double the price. It's better to be safe.

The hotel is beautiful and Karima was great host, very caring and above all professional. We had an excellent stay. Would highly recommend the pool and the breakfast. Location wise, it does not disappoint. All in all, great stay! We miss you Karima :' (
