Riad Due

I cannot rate this Riad more highly. It is beautifully appointed, stylishly decorated and very comfortable — an oasis away from the bustle of the Medina. Having said that the location is perfect — walking distance to all the points of interest in the souks and Medina. Perhaps the greatest highlight is Elena who runs the property and her amazing staff. Elena makes you feel very welcome. She makes sure you know where all the tourists sites are and is on hand to help out with any extra questions or issues. Mohammad and Khalid and the amazing team in the kitchen do their utmost to make you feel welcome. The breakfasts are amazing (and huge). I also had dinner on the roof terrace which was really delicious. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again should I return to Marrakech.

Riad DUE is a real ART place, with a superb decoration in a eclectic style with amazing vegetation of great trees. They have the most 360 degrees view stylish terrace looking over Marrakech in a great style of elegance!

For my 50th birthday, I traveled to Marrakesh with two close friends, and it was an incredible weekend. We stayed in Elena’s beautiful riad in the old town, tucked away in the Medina. The riad was a perfect blend of calm and elegance, with a serene courtyard and a plunge pool. The staff were so attentive and friendly, it felt like home from home immediately, always ready to help.
We spent the weekend exploring the souks, getting lost in the winding streets, and soaking up the energy of the crowds. Elena organised a traditional hammam, which was a highlight.
The Riad is set in the most perfect location, a short walk from the heart of the souks but close the front door and you feel like you have turned the world off.
Elena is beyond helpful, arranging dinner reservations, trips and sharing her local knowledge to make your trip amazing.
The local people were warm and welcoming, we felt safe and relaxed walking everywhere.

This is a perfect place to stay in Marrakech. One of the best riads we have seen in the city. They have a great design and amazing service. If we go back to Marrakech we will try to book this place again.

Interior: Incredibly stylish! A perfect blend of modern design and traditional Moroccan charm. Every detail is thoughtfully chosen — elegant, yet cozy. Spotlessly clean, with impeccable attention to every little touch.
When we left, I truly felt like I was leaving a part of my heart behind.

Fantastic 5 night stay in the heart of Marrakech. We were looked after so well by Elena and her staff, particularly Mohammed! We need only say the word and the staff would get us whatever we needed. The riad is a peaceful oasis among the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Beautiful rooms with modern facilities. We had a delicious traditional breakfast each day. We really hope to return!

My husband and I were booked a stay in Marrakesh by my two sons and their wives for my birthday. I will. Never be able to express how delighted we were that my children selected Riad Due! Having stayed in many a (quite posh) hotel in Europe, I have never stayed anywhere like the Riad Due where I felt that I didn't want to leave! Elena and her truly wonderful team are people we will never, ever forget. We left feeling that we had made friends, not just encountered "staff", we weren't just another couple staying, we felt absolutely valued and so very welcome.
The Riad itself is simply beautiful. Waking in the morning, drinking wonderful coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice whilst listening to the birds flying around the space outside our room was just enchanting. The design of the Riad, whilst maintaining the traditional style was contrasted with wonderful modern design which worked superbly.
The food we were served was cooked to perfection. Breakfast (according to my husband) was magnificent (I don't eat breakfast myself but I take his word for it! ).
The sheer pleasure, after getting lost in the Souks and exploring the city, of sitting in the gorgeous roof space, watching the sun go down is yet another thing we shall never forget.
There was not a single thing that we could complain about. I could happily go back and stay in the Riad Due without ever leaving it!

Riad Due is exceptional! The decor is absolutely charming and the owner, Elena, and all her staff were so friendly and offered the most fantastic hospitality. The interior design is colorful and stylish, the rooms were extremely clean, and the food was just first-class. I would recommend this riad to anyone looking for somewhere central with plenty of local charm, and a very warm welcome. Plus it was much cheaper than other boutique riads in the city we have stayed in. We loved it and would definitely go back there!

We absolutely loved Riad Due. Although situated in the most central place in the medina, it is a piece of Heaven. The patio is absolutely beautiful with it’s big plants and the many birds who enter to sing a little song for you. Wonderful breakfast. Each of the huge rooms and the wonderful library are decorated with so much love for Details. It is colorful, fun, cracy, inviting, and still representing maroccain lifestyle — it is just an astonishing place. And the beautiful rooftop which is one of the higher once in Marrakesch and therefore overlooking the Medina is full of plants and inviting to rest.
Elena and her team are wonderful hosts. Always there for you and making sure that you get the best experience of Marrakesch. Upon arrival, Elena explained us the map of the City, how to find our way around and made reservations in the best Restaurants.
We highly recommend to stay at Riad Due when you are in Marokko.

Elena was really helpful with lots of advice on where to go and what to do. Riad Due is in an exceptional location. An original town house, it has been beautifully restored and modernised to a high standard and is creatively decorated. Breakfast was delicious, everything homemade. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful riad right at the heart of the medina. All the staff are absolutely lovely and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was absolutely amazing and we had the best sleep. The home made breakfast and the hospitality were exceptional. The roof terrace has spectacular views and is lovely to enjoy the weather and peace of this lovely place.

An absolutely perfect place.
The plants inside the riad, the furniture and the design of the whole riad are so great chosen. Everything fits perfectly.
Marrakesh is a very noisy and hecticly city but as soon as you step inside the riad it is quit and very comfortable.
All the staff and Elena are so friendly people. You will definitelly feel like home.
It is also possible to have dinner at the riad. I can warmly recommend it. We had dinner on the first evening and it was so tasteful and delicious. We felt like in a private place with our private chef.

We’ve just had the most incredible stay in Marrakech at the Riad Due — a beautiful, welcoming home from home in the heart of the Medina.
The Riad Due is a boutique hotel with 4 stunning rooms, our room was perfect with an incredible morrocan style ceiling and lots of gorgeous design features plus thoughtful touches such as rose petals on the bed and high quality toiletries and furnishings. The Riad is a fantastic fusion of traditional and modern design.
Elena and her team made us feel so looked after and welcome. They were on hand to help us plan our trip including advising and making restaurant bookings, and places to visit and shops we might like.
The breakfasts were delicious! We also booked an evening meal which was one of the highlights of our trip. The mint tea and biscuits were the best we had.
The rooftop terrace has picturesque views over the Medina and beyond to the snow capped Atlas Mountains, and we saw beautiful sunsets from here.
Elena and her team were so lovely that we felt like we made friends for life and were so upset to leave! There is no doubt that we will be coming again to Marrakech and we will not be staying anywhere else other than the Riad Due ❤️

Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. From the start, the Riad's manager Elena went above and beyond to make our time feel special and relaxed. The staff was attentive and polite and left us wanting for nothing. The Riad itself is very impressive. Our room was quite large with a very good bed, large bathroom, and private dressing room. The riad's open-air atrium is like a desert oasis. A small pool is circled by 20ft palms and fig trees while birds dart around between the tall ivies growing up the wall singing. Or go up to their large rooftop terrace where you can take your meals and enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was phenomenal, a selection of fruit, house-made breads, and eggs with the famous Moroccan mint tea. You can't beat it. I'd never eaten anything like egg and lamb tagine before and enjoyed one each morning. Elena recommended her favorite shops in the souks to get a good bargain. The riad's location is both central in the medina and adjacent to new town: you're 10-20min walk from everywhere. We had a great time exploring, trying street foods, acquiring much pottery and brass vessels of all kinds. After every long day of exploration we felt so happy to come back to our riad and crash in our bed knowing the bird would wake us up in the morning.
