Had a very good time, hosts where very helpful with everything I asked for. Rashida, the lady that greets you with tea and biscuits when you arrive and cooks breakfast was super sweet. Rooms were clean, just as advertised.

Review:
I reached out to the Host before booking to explain our situation: I am pregnant, my fiancé is Moroccan, and we are in the middle of our marriage process. I specifically asked if we could still stay, knowing Moroccan law can be strict for unmarried couples.
The Host replied with a vague, generic message that did not clearly say “no” – and less than a minute later, I received an invitation to book. Naturally, I assumed this was approval to stay and booked in good faith.
Only after booking did the Host ask if my fiancé was Moroccan and then refused to host us. He ignored my calls, told me to “handle it with Airbnb, ” and refused to cancel so I could get a refund.
Airbnb ultimately covered my refund as a courtesy, but this experience left me without accommodation, in high heat, without water, and in a risky situation for my health and pregnancy.

Riad Amirkesh was the perfect base for our short stay in Marrakech. Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the medina walls, it offers a peaceful retreat close to the city’s vibrant center.
The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality of the hosts. Despite our last-minute booking, they were incredibly accommodating, very responsive over message before our arrival, and even adjusted the check-in for us. We were greeted with mint tea and biscuits, and the lovely staff went above and beyond.
The neighbourhood is well-equipped, with shops, restaurants, a mosque, and a swimming pool just steps away. We would particularly recommend Chez Samir for an excellent meal at a great price. The gated community also offered free parking, giving us peace of mind for our rental car.
The property is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, and our room was comfortable for two. We even enjoyed a morning swim before checking out. Overall, a delightful stay—we couldn’t recommend it more!
