Riad Alice Terrace & Spa

Really enjoyed my stay, this riad is cute and was perfectly located for the sites and places I wanted to visit during my short visit. The staff were super friendly and hospitable, Moha and Younus took great care of me and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommend and would definitely book again when I return to Marrakesh…

Fantastic Riad with wonderful, friendly staff. The breakfasts were delicious, and nothing was too much trouble for the team. We loved the traditional feel and cosiness of the Riad, plus enjoyed spending time on the terrace. Would also recommend the spa (I had a great massage) plus the beef tagine with cous cous — absolutely incredible!

We had a really good stay. The Riad (hotel) has a central yet quiet location, making it perfect for exploring the city without being surrounded by noise and crowds. A big advantage is that taxis can drive nearly all the way to the riad, which makes arrival and departure much easier than at many other places in the medina.
The staff are super friendly, and Alice is a fantastic host who makes you feel at home from the very first moment. Everything was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was a standard Moroccan breakfast—simple but tasty.
All in all, a place we can warmly recommend if you want comfort, great service, and an excellent base for discovering the city.

The only thing that would have made it 5* would be to improve the breakfast and offer a few options. The first time we had it was great, but second was lacking variety.

Two friends of mine and I stayed in this great riad. It is very close to the Medina but not too close so it feels like an oasis. We arrived and immediately got the princess treatment which included delicious tea and a very nice greeting. The staff is incredibly nice. We immediately bonded with moha (the manager) who helped us with anything and truly made our stay amazing. Moha feels like family now and we will definitely visit him again as it has become a great friendship. Thank you so much for everything!

Beautiful stay in Marrakesh! We really enjoy it there! Such a calm and lovely place where you can relax after a busy day in the city. Everything was perfectly clean and the stuff is super helpfull and nice with tips around and chating. We had also the best breakfast! Thank you for amazing stay! Really recommend!

The hotel is very near the old suq and other old town sights. The rooms are traditional style and nicely decorated as well as having a small refrigerators to hold 2 drinks. The men who run the front desk give good advice (definitely follow it) and are helpful with arranging tours.

We loved our stay at Riad Alice. The riad was recently renovated in the traditional Moroccan architectural style and we couldn’t stop staring at the hand carved ceilings and doors. The owner and staff were beyond helpful and kind. I would stay here again on a future trip. It’s quiet at night as the riad is outside of the main square but it's close enough to walk to the center in about 10 minutes. Bathroom finishings could use some work.

Alice and her team are lovely and incredibly attentive. My wife and I stayed a couple of nights in this beautiful Riad with our family recently and felt very well looked after throughout. The location is central — within walking distance to all the main sights we were interested in but still tucked away enough to be away from the bustle. One unexpected highlight was the view from the rooftop, where you can spot stork nests perched on the palace walls. A memorable touch. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing! We stayed in two riads whilst in Marrakech and Riad Alice was one of the highlights of our trip! The staff are extremely helpful & friendly and the rooms are beautiful with a gorgeous roof top terrace!

The staff is extremely kind and helpful! Alice gave many suggestions and was always very available, which made me feel at home.
The location is very central, which made exploring nice and easy.
Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious and a lovely way to start the morning along with the chirping birds.
Our room was quiet and the beds are insanely comfortable! (I actually forgot, but meant to ask what brand they are haha! THAT comfortable! )
I would highly recommend a stay here!

I booked this riad for a 10-day couple's trip. The guys who work there were fantastic with us, especially Jade, who with their hospitality, cleanliness and a huge amount of programs offered leave us with a beautiful memory of Morocco. I recommend it.

Beautiful little Riad just 5 minutes walk from Tinsmiths Square and only 15 mins from the Medina. Very close to the airport and easy to get about with taxis and walking. Close to the less touristy Jewish Quarter. Quiet terrace with song birds and plenty of stork nest nearby. A little Marrakech supermarches is 30 seconds from the door for anything you need.

Overall a very good stay at this Riad.
Very helpful friendly staff. Fairly safe area but children and men will approach you as soon as you walk out onto the street.
Very close to the medina and market.
Didn’t use the spa. There are cheaper Hammam and massages in the Medina.
Breakfast was very nice. Quite an echo and cold in January.
The beds are very firm but if you prefer that then fine.
The bathrooms flood when when using the shower. They are like wet rooms. But you can request new towels and cleaning daily.
Very relaxed and homely.
Use the yellow taxis. Don’t book private car hire through the riad it will cost you so much more! We got caught out on the first night. £40 to go 15 mins there and back to a restaurant due to it being a block booking. Very easy to walk around and grab a taxi.

The personal is really friendly and nice and I guess this is the best of this riad. Although it’s new and beautifully decorated, the shower is a big problem. As many in Marrakech, it has a problem with the drain (gets stuck) and the whole bathroom gets full of water as there’s no barrier separating the shower area to the rest of the bathroom. The water is not that hot and as it overflows, you cant open fully the faucet. The breakfast is limited, no fruits or yogurt. Again, it worths for the location and the lovely staff. I add pucs of the flooded bathroom and another of an easy solution to fix this problem.

Your next stay in Marrakech should be here! Amazing hosts and incredible attention to detail and cleanliness of the interior. This place was one of the highlights of Marrakech! You will hardly find a better place with this price performance ratio.
There’s parking nearby just opposite the supermarket. Beware of anyone helping you to get to the riad. Basically don’t let yourself helped by anyone in Marrakech. They want your monero or scam you in some way or the other.

This place was amazing — I stayed in a few Ryads already, Marrakech generally has very welcoming staff. But Alice and her staff were amazing! Extremely caring, attentive, friendly, fun — as if you’re staying at a family who invited you to stay over a few nights. Such experience is what you come for — to enjoy amazing hospitality and lovely conversations, rather than just sleeping over and leaving. I highly recommend this place and definitely take hamam and massage services — it was the best! After that you surely sleep like a baby with renewed skin.
I out 4 for rooms just to set expectations — mine was rather small, but it was perfect for me. Also, the staff gave me an iron very quickly. Overall, it’s a great place and the best experience comes from the people at this Riad.
As for the place — it’s next to the road so you don’t have to walk to Riad, which is very convenient (most riads in Medina require a walk). It’s super close to Bahia palace and cute street with shops, so location is great and a bit further from the loud main square.
