Marrakech Riads, NL Collection

Me and my partner Luke have just got back from here today and had the most amazing stay. All the staff were welcoming, helped us make the most out of our first time in Marrakech. The cooking class was fantastic, Hamza provided an amazing experience. The lady who did our massage 10/10 and the hammam experience is definitely one everyone needs to try! Nothing was too much for any of the staff. The riad itself was beautiful, rooftop views, beautiful food, served with a smile always. The breakfast chef provided one of our best breakfast included in a holiday stay. The room was always cleaned and ready for when we came home from a day in the souks, fresh towels. I can't thank the staff here enough for not only making our first stay a beautiful memory for us but a reason we would love to come back.

We stayed for 5 nights here, what a fantastic place and location. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and happy to go above and beyond for us. We had hamam and massage which was amazing experience, we had cooking class with Hamza, couldn't have asked for a better host with him. He made the cooking class extra special. Walid made sure we had everything we needed and packages booked we wanted to do. He gave us all the information we needed on the area and where to go, as did Hamza (his personal spice shopping spot) the room was very nice but it's the staff make this Riad somewhere special to stay.

Spent 3 nights here with a group of friends. We were so well looked after and had a very memorable stay. Samir, Waleed, Mohammed and all the team treated us like royalty! I loved the rooftop breakfasts, the powerful shower, spa quality toiletries and would highly recommend the Maghrib Sweetness Hamman package! I felt completely rejuvenated afterwards 😊 My friends took part in the cookery school and loved it. The Riad was close to many sites we wanted to visit and surrounded by rooftop restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

We spent a week there. It was a great stay! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated. The riad is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and elegantly decorated with authentic interiors, intricate handcrafted details. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and designed with exceptional taste.
The food was delicious, with a good breakfast to start each day, and the location—just inside the traditional Medina—is absolutely perfect. What truly sets this riad apart is the staff: incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Special thanks to Zakaria, Youssef, and Mohamed for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, memorable, and authentic Marrakech experience.

The Riad is very relaxing and the staff are so kind and helpful. Our taxi driver unfortunately dropped as at another Riad but the staff came and found us and Walid also walked us to our taxi on the final day. The breakfast includes traditional Morrocan food and is delicious.

Beautiful stay at the Nelia Boutique Hotel — Marrakech Riad Collection. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautifully designed with authentic interiors, and everything felt very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay in Marrakech.

Riad Nelia is an absolute gem in the heart of Marrakesh. The location is perfect for exploring the medina and shopping, yet once inside, it feels like a peaceful oasis. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. What truly sets this riad apart, though, is the hospitality—every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making our time in Marrakesh completely magical.
We also took a cooking class at their other location, which was an unforgettable experience, with equally incredible staff. I could not recommend Riad Nelia more highly.

We stayed for 4 nights. We had a very good stay at Riad Nelia. The Riad is situated close the markets and attravctions which are all walking distance.
The staff are fantastic, very attentive and do everything to make you welcome and have a great experience.
Saad and Waleed are two members of staff who looked after us very well and ensured any need was met. Both are knowledgeable and very friendly.
Breakfast is always a banquet of food, every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast.
We will certainly stay here again!

The housekeeping ladies were excellent and cleaned our rooms to the highest level — (Aisha/Mariam).
The staff overall very courtesy and polite and always willing to help! The place is amazing!

I stayed with a friend in Riad Nelia and it was honestly one of the best experiences i’ve ever had travelling! The staff were so amazing with their attention to detail, their hospitality, and everything else. We really experienced top service from every single staff we met, including the cleaner ladies who took loads of pictures for us 💞 I wouldn’t have asked for a better experience.
On top of that, the Riad itself was so beautiful and located quite closely to everything you could think of. Rooms inside of the riad were cleaned every day which was really nice of them, and in the mornings during breakfast time, I was such a lovely and calm atmosphere! I wouldn’t 100% come back in the future. ❤️

Pros:
Service is excellent. Friendly staff (especially Zacarria).
Good location.
Excellent breakfast.
Clean and stylish rooms.
Cons:
Construction happening next door to one of the hotels (there are two locations that are very near each other. If you specifically were hoping to be at one with certain photos or not next to a construction zone, you should make this clear when you book. I believe they should be more transparent on the multiple locations).
The noise from the construction as well as from a neighboring room made sleeping very hard at least one of the nights and mornings.

I loved my stay here! I stayed 4 nights and wish I had more it was such a great experience. Where do I start, the riad is absolutely gorgeous from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted with a warm welcome of tea and cookies. The location is perfect. My room was a good size with a firm, but very comfortable bed. The riad alone is perfection, but the staff steals the show, everyone was so warm and welcoming! Every single person at the riad went above and beyond to make my stay the best possible experience. I felt like they were a family welcoming me in to their gorgeous home and I left with memories I will remember for a lifetime. I also had my first hammam and a massage at Nelia signature and I highly recommend that as well! Atika was the best, she made me feel totally comfortable during the hammam, and the massage was wonderful. One of the best I’ve had! Book with her, you won’t regret it! The rooftop terrace is also gorgeous with nice views, it was great to watch the sunset and lovely to enjoy the tasty breakfast from each morning. Not if, but when I come back to Marrakech, I hope Riad Nelia is available because it will be where I want to stay again! Thanks to everyone who made my stay so special!

I stayed at Nelia Riad in Marrakesh in October with our friends, and it was an amazing experience! The riad is spotless — very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were fantastic: always smiling, sincere, hardworking, and available whenever you need them.
We met one of the owners in person and dealt with the other one by phone — both of them were absolutely amazing! So kind, professional, and genuinely caring, which made us feel completely at home.
I highly recommend Nelia Riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special! 🌸

Wow — what an incredible experience! The service here is truly unbeatable. The staff felt more like friends by the end of our stay. Ikram greeted us with such warmth and was absolutely lovely. Mohamed was so charming, always ready with tea and anything else we needed. The rest of the team of Hamza, Mohamed Samir were equally wonderful and took amazing care of us.
The riad itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with stunning rooms, a serene pool, and a gorgeous rooftop terrace. The location is perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from all the action.
We were genuinely sad to leave our new friends. I’d return just to see the staff again, but the riad alone is reason enough to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

5 stars because the staff made our stay unforgettable. Abdul, Sameer, and Mohammed (hopefully I got the names right! ) were so welcoming, funny, and full of banter – it felt like chatting with friends every time. My cousins and I still talk about them! The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, breakfast was fun, and every morning the staff had us laughing. They even helped us get to nearby spots so we wouldn’t get lost. I loved how personal the experience felt since it’s a Riad and not a big commercial hotel. Highly recommend this place!

I booked a stay at Riad Nelia for two nights via a booking platform, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
Two months before my check-in date, I found that my credit card was unexpectedly charged, despite my booking being a “pay at hotel” arrangement. Riad Nelia claimed that I didn’t respect their cancellation policy, resulting in a full charge. However, I did not cancel my booking, and despite multiple attempts to communicate with them, I received no response.
Finally, after nearly a month, I received a reply from Riad Nelia stating that they mistakenly thought my booking was canceled and simply noted that my booking was now paid. I am still seeking clarification on why the charge was different from what was stated in my confirmation email and have yet to receive a clear explanation regarding this issue.
To make matters worse, the hotel did not show up on time for the airport pick-up, which added to my stress upon arrival. This lack of punctuality and professionalism is unacceptable.
While I appreciate the confirmation of my reservation and the details for my airport transfer, the overall customer service has been severely lacking. The delays in communication and unresolved billing issues have left me feeling undervalued as a guest.
I hope this review prompts the management to improve their communication and customer service practices. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

I stayed only one night at Riad Nelia Signature, in a room near the pool. While the pool and interior garden area are beautifully maintained (definitely the highlight of the property), there were several issues that affected our experience.
At 7:00 AM, housekeeping began cleaning the pool area just outside our window — they were extremely loud, making it impossible to rest in the morning.
Breakfast was also disappointing. There was only one staff member responsible for everything — serving, cleaning tables, and retrieving items like salt, milk, and sugar, which required him to go down two floors. We waited about 20 minutes just to get orange juice and have our table cleaned.
I requested a private hotel transfer (not a taxi), specifically asking for a clean private car with air conditioning and was willing to pay extra for this. However, we were sent a van with no air conditioning, which was uncomfortable, especially in the heat.
At check-out, I intended to pay by card, but was told by the manager that the POS was not working and that I needed to go to an ATM — which was frustrating, especially as we had to catch our flight and temperatures were around 35°C. After walking to the ATM (which was also not working), I was told the POS terminal had started working again. This was poorly handled. The manager told me this is Africa lady, not Europe…even if they are on Booking, so usually is not even necesary to pay at the hotel.
