Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech

We spent several nights in Marrakech on business and stayed in two villas, enjoying truly excellent service throughout. Mohamed, our butler, did a remarkable job; after noticing that we had caught a cold, he thoughtfully provided additional heaters in the villa, which was greatly appreciated. Any minor issues that arose were handled with elegance and efficiency, leaving us feeling thoroughly well looked after.
The venue is fantastic, and the food is outstanding. The design is particularly inspiring, seamlessly blending local culture and architecture with the highest standards of an international luxury hotel brand, creating an unforgettable experience.
All transfers were organised in a flawless manner, punctual and perfectly coordinated, which made the overall experience even more seamless and stress-free.
In-room dining deserves special mention, especially the local Moroccan selection—flavourful, tasty, and beautifully presented. Ling Ling restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience and is definitely worth trying.
Breakfast is excellent in both variety and quality. The pastries are freshly made and outstanding in taste and texture, while the fresh fruits are ripe and naturally sweet—especially the mandarins, which were also offered as an in-room amenity and were at the perfect level of sweetness.
Definitely a choice worth making.

I’m just checking out from the hotel. We stayed for three nights and I could hardly describe how grateful and pleased we are from the hotel and the service they provided. The villas are amazing clean and comfortable. The staff is very polite knowing your wish even before you say it. They have very good connection through What’s up with a lady which name is Samia and she is extremely polite and make every wish come true in minutes. The food is also delicious and they have nice restaurants. Hakkasan is situated here.
We definitely will come back again!

We just returned from our short holiday in Marrakech and we are so happy to have chosen the best hotel to stay there — The Mandarin Oriental. It was our first visit to Morocco and even though there are other top hotels we surely made the right decision. We managed to go in all the other places for cafe of dinner and after we returned in our Paradise.
First of all here you get a fantastic villa with private pool. The gardens are really endless with white roses and white Bougainvillea everywhere even flowers dropping in your pool. So romantic especially with the fire pit that can be lit up anytime you want. Not to mention about the space and all the amenities — absolute luxury!
I have to say that the service is also impeccable. We were greeted at the airport, after we were met by our villa host Noura — so lucky to have her as she is really a very kind and caring person.
The breakfast is just perfect, a very good choice of food. Staff in the restaurants are very polite. We were at the Hacienda bar and also Shirvan restaurant — great dinner!
Thank you so much! When we come next time in Marrakech we will come again in Mandarin Oriental, no doubt!

An exceptional stay from start to finish. We celebrated a special birthday here, and the service truly exceeded expectations.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to AbdulSamad for his attentive support, and to Amine for arranging a beautiful birthday surprise in the villa. At Shirvan, Mousaabe offered impeccable service and grace, while Raja’s warm hospitality made every meal a pleasure. Selma at reception was consistently kind and efficient, the Spa team were outstanding, and the concierge provided excellent recommendations and flawlessly organised a visit to the Atlas Mountains.
This hotel surpassed every expectation and made the celebration truly memorable. Grateful to the entire team for their dedication.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is peaceful and pleasant, and the restaurants offer an exceptional dining experience. The quality of both service and food is top-notch (100/100)! A big compliment to the gardeners for their beautiful work.
I just have a small comment regarding a few servers — they repeatedly asked to provide feedback after each service, which I found a bit uncomfortable, especially during breakfast.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at, period. The staff was incredible. Everything was taken care of from the second I arrived. The staff really went above and beyond and were super thoughtful. The food was amazing. The villa I stayed in was beautiful. The location was perfect for exploring but was also extremely quite and private. Really amazing experience. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech. We were lucky to have an upgrade to our own private villa and it felt like a dream. The concierge team has been really helpful organising our guided tour in the city, the Spa is amazing and the hammam experience as well as the massages were great, and we had delicious meals at the restaurants. Overall, all the staff is incredibly nice, special thanks to Oussama, who was our butler for our 3 days there. He made our stay memorable!

I came to surprise my wife for our 10 year anniversary. She had the time of her life. We really enjoyed our Pool Villa. It was a shame we could only do 1 night but in future we plan to do 3 nights. We most definitely have to come back. We absolutely loved our butler Yassine. What a great guy! If we come back we will definitely be requesting Yassine. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The staff were so accommodating. Dinner at the Ling Ling was incredible with an incredible view of the poolside. That pool Villa is the best room we have ever experienced. That was incredible. Wow. Thank you so much Mandarin Oriental. I have told so many friends about how great this trip was.

The hotel’s location is perfect: just a quick 10-minute drive from the Medina, and the staff seamlessly arranged tours, transfers, and all the details that made our trip so memorable and effortless. The hotel is quiet, peaceful, so pretty and has everything you need!
During our stay, we visited several other high-profile and popular hotels for dinners and drinks — and we were so happy we chose to stay at the Mandarin Oriental. Without question, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
A special thanks to Amine, who was incredible — always accessible, endlessly helpful, and who made everything so easy, fun, and stress-free. His care and attention truly elevated our experience. We cannot give enough praise to Amine — he even helped us find the channel showing the Wimbledon final and picked up medicine for my son.

From the moment we arrived, the team at Mandarin made us feel completely relaxed and welcome. One of the managers personally greeted us, showed genuine interest in our visit, and asked what we’d like to experience during our short 4-day stay in Marrakech.
We wanted to explore the city a bit, and the hotel took care of absolutely everything – from pick-up to drop-off, including the guide and even lunch. It was all organised perfectly without us having to think about a thing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fairly priced it was – no inflated “hotel rates” at all.
The hotel itself has everything you need, so if you just want to unwind and not leave the property, you can do that in total comfort. We stayed in December, and the weather was much better than expected – warm and peaceful, with the hotel feeling calm and uncrowded.
Breakfast deserves a special mention – honestly the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. Fresh juices (not from cartons! ), beautifully presented, and made to order. When I ordered something I didn’t like, they didn’t make a fuss – they simply replaced it without hesitation. That’s the kind of thoughtful service that really stays with you.
Yes, it's a luxury hotel – but it’s the people that truly make it special. The staff and management at Mandarin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, and they really didn’t disappoint.
Only small issue was with the villa pool heating, but even that was sorted quickly and professionally.

Were staying in Mamounia. Joined friends who were at the Mandarin. We visited their stunning villa. Will highly consider when we visit Marrakech next time. Evening started with nice drinks in their tent. View superb. Service could be improved. We then dined in Lingling. Preferred this one to the one too extravagant in Dubai. We had a lovely chat with Moussine the manager. Food, service and vibe was very good.

Absolutely fantastic place. The service is impeccable and the private pool villas have all you could ever want, we didn't want to leave! The private sauna in the shower room was a nice touch. We also asked them to light the fire for us whilst we were at dinner and came back to a gorgeous fire next to the pool. Pure luxury. Some previous comments about being under a flight path are true, but it really didn't bother us, and not that frequent anyway. Gives you something to look at every so often whilst sunbathing and dipping in and out of your own private pool! The staff couldn't do enough for you either, highly recommend!

Communication with all departments was consistently efficient and reliable, demonstrating a high level of coordination and professionalism across the board. One noticeable area for improvement, however, is the cleanliness of the public spaces. While not unacceptable, the level of upkeep in these areas did not fully match the otherwise high standards set throughout the property and should be more closely monitored.
The Food & Beverage concept is particularly noteworthy—creative, high quality, and well-executed throughout. The breakfast offering deserves special mention for its variety, freshness, and exceptional presentation.
Staff across all departments were generally courteous, attentive, and service-oriented, contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere. It is worth noting that the pricing is positioned at the higher end of the market, which may not align with all guest expectations.
Overall, the hotel delivers a high standard of hospitality with several standout strengths in concept, service, and culinary experience, though some operational refinements would further enhance the guest experience.

Had the most amazing stay here last week with a group of friends for a birthday trip. All of the staff were so friendly and personable. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we possibly needed. They even helped us to set up a birthday celebration in our villa one night with a cake. The property is stunning — the grounds are expansive with immaculate gardens. Staff were readily available to transport us from our villa to the main building in golf carts. The villas are well equipped and gorgeous. The hammam treatment at the spa was so different from anything we had experienced before and it was lovely. The only down side is the location which is about a 10-15 car ride from the Medina. However the hotel does provide a car service which was easily arranged when needed. Definitely recommend!

Overall We had a great stay at MO — Marrakech. Staff was extremely responsive to our needs. Concierge team outlined a great restaurants. Breakfast team was super attentive. Our family villa was very nice layout and very spacious. Kids loved the private pool and jacuzzi. Even the private drivers were courteous and knowledgeable. Our villa butler, Saad paid attention to every minor to major needs of ours. He even offered great suggestions for us to do at the resort and outside. If you are staying at MO villas, ask for Saad.
Even the best stays have some room for improvement. Consider having firmer beds and also additional privacy for conservative families (darker curtains in bathroom).
I had meticulously planned my 10 days in Morocco and considered other high end resorts. However for families this is best choice!

My husband & I stayed here in Nov 24 for 5 nights hoping for winter sun & we got just that! We were lucky to get upgraded to a villa and — wow! It was extremely large, luxurious and private and we even had our own butler Abdoullah who was always available and courteous if ever we needed anything, as were the rest of the staff at the hotel.
He kindly organized a barbecue in our villa with music and the whole experience was so romantic & unforgettable. The chef/food were astounding. The musician played the oud so beautifully that my husband now wishes to learn & buy one! We also appreciated the ambient music being played by all the musicians at breakfast as it was such a lovely way to start the day.
We used the spa & gym facilities which were great and cycled around the grounds which was fun. We primarily spent our evenings at the Tent which was such a fun way to end the day. Abdul, the bar manager really took care of as did the rest of the team there. Great cocktails, great vibe, great food & above all great staff.
We couldn’t have hoped for more & really hope to back again soon! Thanks so much!
