Le Singe Rose & SPA

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Riad Le Singe Rose, and we would give more than five stars if we could. Our room was quiet, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean — a thoughtful blend of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship and modern comfort, with a very comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and a lovely bathroom.
The team, Rachid, Brahim and the Girls were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived. Every staff member was kind, helpful, and professional without ever being intrusive. The management deserves special praise: they assisted us with transfers, restaurant recommendations, activity planning, and even helped us with our luggage logistics in a way that went far beyond what we expected. Their flexibility and hospitality truly made a difference.
The atmosphere throughout the riad — from the calm courtyard to the rooftop with its pool and cosy seating areas — is peaceful, stylish, and full of character. Le Singe Rose is truly a gem in the Medina, with a wonderful team and a management that clearly cares about their guests.

LE SINGE ROSE is a genuinely superior property in a city with lots of accommodation choices.
It's beautifully renovated, filled with interesting artifacts & artworks and subtly decorated.
VERY comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Top quality linens, towels & robes.
The breakfast is delicious and varies slightly each day. Fresh breads, cakes, fruit, omelette. Juice. Coffee. Tea.
It has a lovely roof terrace with a plunge pool, chairs, loungers and a small bar.
Perfect for a sunset beer!
After the warmest of welcomes, we had a tagine on our (late) arrival which was delicious. I was even given a plate of the equally delicious & totally authentic staff lunch to share one afternoon. So generous.
Which brings me onto the staff. Just 6 and they produce marvels here. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was exactly right. All of them were exceptional in every area. Five stars all the way.
It's the perfect place to stay in the Medina.
Tip: book the day pass to their beautiful 5-star sister hotel Dar Syada 40 minutes outside the city. Transport and (an excellent) lunch are included and relaxation is guaranteed! Check out my TripAdvisor review.

Le Singe Rose has to have been one of the most hospitable, personalized, clean and beautiful experiences I have had while travelling.
Location — the riad is on a side street just off of one of the isles of the souks. Quite literally a 1 minute walk to the nearest shop and 10 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fna Square. As a solo female traveller I never felt unsafe, even at night. In the riad you are not disturbed by any of the chaos and noise of the busy medina (you might hear the call-to-prayer once in a while thought). It's honestly a little oasis. Also, cars are not allowed in the medina so you wont be able to get dropped off right at the riad, but it's so close to the nearest drop-off point so the 5 minute walk was super quick.
Staff — The entire team was so welcoming. I felt like part of their family. Rachid and Brahim were so kind. They work so hard and put so much passion into the work that they do. They both stay up every night to ensure that ALL of the guests return back to the Riad, safely.
Food — Breakfast was available at whatever time worked for my schedule, their attention to detail on my preferences and habits were as though I was staying at a 5-star hotel with butler-service. Any type of meal at anytime was available to me upon order.
Amenities — This is a fairly new riad. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed, daily. I always felt safe about my belongings and valuables. They offered spa services which I booked.
