Le Palais Averroes

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with so much care and kindness. We were generously upgraded to a Royal Suite, and it was absolutely amazing — spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable.
The staff is exceptional: very kind, professional, and au petit soin at all times. A very special thank you to Sanaa, who was extremely welcoming, attentive, and always available. She truly made our stay even more special.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, calm small hotel. Marrakesh is crazy so to stay in this place and retreat here after crazy days in the city, this is a dream to come back to!
Senae is lovely and Hamza will take good care of you and Mustafa if there is anything wrong. We had a couple of niggles but they are such nice, good people you really can’t complain. It is laid back and so should you be as you’re on holiday.
We taught them how to make English tea — you’re welcome 😂
A taxi into the city will take 20-25 minutes traffic dependent and I recommend the Indrive app to get taxis.
If you look at everything as an experience then you will have a wonderful time.
The rooms are clean, they could do with a little more space for clothes as we lived mainly out of suitcases but this is fine, just not luxury.
We couldn’t use the pool as it was winter but the pool area is nice and tranquil.
The spa was good, the Hammam included a hot steam room (they will turn the steam up if it feels slightly cold for you) a clay wrap and a scrub.
Overall our experience was excellent and they are just the nicest people, if anything is not quite right, they will be happy to work with you.

The hotel is beautiful build and characteristic.
It is 15 minutes from the city center. Local taxi will cost you 70 dirham max. The hotel can arrange a taxi for 150 dirham (more than the double).
Uber does not exist. But you can try the Careem app.
There is one restaurant (Bladna) in walking distance which has ok food.

The manager is acting popular. He is on the phone a long time when you are relaxing at the pool, chewing gum when preparing coffee and even one day we (all visitors, a full restaurant) were waiting for breakfast. It was the managers duty to organize breakfast but he came in at 9.00 (an hour later than they said breakfast would be available)
Somehow he got the job but doesn't really know how to do it.
The other staff like the chef and receptionist (maybe deputy manager? ) were really good and professional and service minded.
There is not really a barista (knowledge) so all coffee with milk are just that. Coffee with hot milk.
Breakfast is every day the same. Not spectaculair but also not bad.
Like said the chef is really willing to make you a diner but somehow it was not inviting us to stay there to have diner so we went out every day for diner.
Rooms are clean and nice. You have multiple pillows but they are all the same hardness.
I would advise the owners to really watch the processes and read the reviews. Maybe you can lift up the service and really make it a 5 star hotel what you pretend on for example booking. Com.

Amazing quiet and beautiful oasis about 15 mins from the centre of Marrakech. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely pool and cafe/restaurant. Extremely friendly staff especially the chef. Will do anything for you. Cheers.

Amazing riad hotel located on a very quiet spot just outside Marakkesh. We had an amazing time and felt very relaxed and at home. The massages were divine and we really recommend this place to all travellers who seek to find some rest in the midst of the Marrakesh chaos!

Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but only a 20 minute taxi ride to most of the attractions. A quiet place to relax around the pool and listen to the birds singing. Service was great, food superb. An oasis of calm.

Absolutely brilliant experience…this place is magical! It’s definitely a unique boutique and oozes modern style paired with traditional Moroccan charm. The hosts were incredible…so warm and welcoming and made us extremely comfortable. The food is delicious and fresh and we loved the tea, coffee and fresh orange juice. The pool was perfect and very clean…the whole place was extremely clean and beautiful gardens and sitting areas to relax in. There’re lots of areas to choose from too, a roof top terrace included for sunset/sunrise views too. So happy we found this place!

Absolutely incredible experience from beginning to end. The hosts are so kind, helpful and made us so at home. The food and drinks are out-this-world, and the setting is magical, so peaceful, atmospheric, and everything clean and well kept. Can’t recommend this place enough — it was dreamy and full of Moroccan character and charm…we loved it!

Beautiful Riad outside of Marrakesh! Super friendly and caring staff makes you feel home. When you enter the gate you will arrive in a little paradise. The hotel has around 10 rooms (little bungalows) that are surrounded by a beautiful garden. There is also a roof top bar/restaurant that was unfortunately closed during our stay. It also offers a small patio with a fountain and little rooms to relax while you are checked in. The pool (not heated) is a bit too small for a swim but good to jump in and cool off. The breakfast and the food was always fresh and good. Many thanks to the whole attentive, friendly staff who made our 10 days stay there unforgettable.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! The entire place was impeccably clean, and every corner radiated a sense of care and attention to detail. The service was outstanding—the staff went above and beyond, always friendly and genuinely eager to help. Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights but we wish it was more. You walk through the entrance and are blown away by how amazing it looks. The service is absolutely amazing, there is nothing the staff will not do for you. The location personally is great, 20 minutes out from the centre and the staff will book you a taxi, it’s perfect after a busy day in the markets to escape back to this little slice of paradise. We will definitely be coming back next year but this time for a full 7 nights.

I booked this place via booking. It was rated extremely high and the reviews all said it was super clean and the beds were super comfortable.
So both is not really the case.
Cleanliness is ok but not great.
The beds are super uncomfortable and have these plastic covers over the mattress. So at least no bedbugs but really not nice to sleep on.
And it’s super noisy. You hear all your neighbors when they talk or go in and out of the room.
The location is in the middle of nowhere. Was ok for me because I was only staying one night before my departure but you feel a bit lost.
Additionally it had rained the day I arrived so really nothing to do there.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful so that’s a plus!

The hotel has a very authentic feeling about it. Rooms are clean and spacious the team at the hotel go above sand beyond to treat the guests as family. Special thanks to all: Hamza who waited tirelessly every night to make sure that I arrived safely. Soufiyan who drove me around and was very punctual and efficient.

Everything is just great! I travel a lot, but this is the only hotel where I want to return and I am already planning my next trip! I want to express my deep gratitude to Badia who made my stay and my birthday the best! She was extremely attentive, caring and hospitable! I have never felt so "at home" as in this hotel thanks to her! Everything in the restaurant is very tasty, amazing hookah, professional masseurs, excellent rooms and a swimming pool!

Wow, thank you to everyone at Le Palais Averroes for making our first trip to Morroco, an unforgettable and comfortable experience.
This hotel was more than we could have asked for. It was beautifully kept, well maintained, clean, the food was 10/10. The rooms are stunning, top appliances and we even watched some Netflix whilst getting ready.
But what topped it all off was the service we received from the staff working there. They were so helpful, made us feel safe, taken care of and honestly what a fun group of people.
We didn’t have to worry about the small things such as reservations/booking taxis because they had it all sorted. Even with our last minute requests, they were very helpful.
Shoutout to Sara, Abdel R, Soufiane (our driver), Chef Sumi, Humzah, Eve at the spa, Mehdi at the bar and everyone else for an amazing stay 😊 Thanks for teaching us a little Arabic/French too 😆
The hotel is 20 mins outside of the medina, away from the busyness.
April/Beginning of May is best time to go in my opinion as the weather was perfect for people who are used to 6 degree Celsius weather!

A change to our travel plans has us unexpectedly visiting this hotel for one night and as such we didn’t have huge expectations for a last minute booking. However, we were wrong, this place represents superb value for money. The entire place feels very safe, clean and well manicured. The pool is excellent and the loungers are fresh and well maintained. The room was beautiful, honestly one of the best we’ve seen on our extensive Moroccan travels. Very cute kittens on site. There were a few things recommendations we’d make for improvement: 1) the pillows in the room are very hard and thick, I have never had a problem with a pillow in my life but this had me using a sweatshirt instead in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable 2) the service for breakfast, dinner and by the pool is quite patchy, it’s unclear who you’re asking for things and when it’s coming 3) the Wi-Fi is pretty terrible so don’t expect to be able to work or call consistently, it cuts out very frequently 4) we’d arranged a transfer from the airport but found it quite overpriced considering the quality of vehicle, lack of aircon etc. Compared to other riads, this didn’t represent good value for money.
On the whole this is a really good value place accommodation-wise and great if you want to be out of the medina and hustle and bustle. We’d stay again.
