Ksar Salha is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave.
The setting is beautiful and inspiring, with nature all around and a calmness that instantly relaxes you.
Our room was perfectly clean and cozy, and the little touches in the design made it feel very personal.
Every meal was a pleasure — the breakfasts were especially memorable, with a nice variety of homemade items and fresh ingredients.
What made the biggest impact was the human connection. The people here are not just staff — they’re hosts in the truest sense. You can feel they care.
This is the kind of place you return to, again and again.

The atmosphere is calm, soothing, and filled with positive energy. The garden is lush and well maintained, the pool is spotless, and everything is designed to promote relaxation.
The rooms are charming and very comfortable, with great attention to detail in both style and cleanliness.
We especially appreciated the homemade meals, which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The team was amazing — attentive, kind, and discreet. We felt truly cared for without ever being overwhelmed.
This place is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or anyone in need of peace and beauty.

"A Magical Retreat"
Ksar Salha is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The setting is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by peaceful nature, with stunning views of the mountains and beautiful gardens.
Our room was cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated with authentic Moroccan touches. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated.
We stayed for several nights, and the breakfast was different each day — always fresh, generous, and served with a smile. The dinners were also delicious, offering a wonderful taste of local cuisine.
What made the stay even more special was the staff. Everyone is genuinely welcoming, helpful, and respectful of your privacy. We left feeling completely recharged. I can’t recommend Ksar Salha enough!

We had a lovely time at Ksar Salha. The place was clean, serene, and incredibly peaceful — a real escape from the noise of everyday life. It’s set out in the countryside, far from the city, which makes it even more relaxing. But any time we needed to head into town, the hosts were more than happy to arrange a taxi for us — it was all taken care of with no stress at all. The food was great, the setting was beautiful, and the hosts were absolutely lovely. We came away feeling rested and very well looked after. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for calm, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Disappointing experience at Hotel Ksar Salha – False handicap claims and poor service.
I stayed for seven days at Hotel Ksar Salha in Marrakech with my friend, who uses a wheelchair. My friend specifically chose this hotel because it is listed as being accessible for people with disabilities.
I regret having to write this review, as I am self-employed and work with clients, but precisely because of that, it is important to highlight the lack of customer care and service.
Having visited Morocco over 25 times, I have never experienced such a poorly run hotel with such appalling service.
Regarding the disability facilities, there were numerous shortcomings, and if my friend had travelled alone, she would not have been able to navigate the hotel at all. Not even the toilets were wheelchair accessible.
On a positive note, I can mention the attractive rooms, lovely gardens, and a beautiful swimming pool (which, regrettably, was also not wheelchair accessible).
Everything else was utterly unacceptable — confusing, unclear descriptions, and poor communication. The hotel only offered one menu that was served throughout the day. There was a set price for lunch and the same price for dinner, but we had to pay extra in the evening. The portions served were small, and the food was overpriced considering the quality and service.
There was no cleaning or vacuuming of our rooms. We had to request staff to clean, and when we did, they did so sporadically.

This hotel has its charms, but significant drawbacks.

The Positives:
Host Fatiha is highly responsive, which was invaluable with our young child - she even ensured our taxi had a car seat. The Atlas Mountain views are breathtaking, and the hotel grounds are beautiful, featuring tortoises and peacocks. The traditional architecture adds to the charm. If you are very open-minded and want to go somewhere to completely switch off from the outside world, to purposely not have much choice or much to do, and immerse yourself into Moroccan family life, this is a perfect place to escape to.

The Negatives:
However, several issues made our stay disappointing. Firstly, the food is not great. For a place that refuses to allow you to bring any food in (and considering there being no restaurants or shops anywhere nearby), the menu is fairly limited, meaning you are struggling to pick and choose what to have after a few nights. The cocktails are tasteless and expensive for what they are. There is no afternoon tea or honesty bar, so all you can eat are the lunch and evening meals. I've seen one review describe these meals as Michelin-worthy - this is just untrue. The meals are not good (we tried five separate main dishes), often dominated by one main flavour and very overcooked. Just one example, the Bastila contained incredibly dark, tough pieces of chicken, and had a huge amount of cinnamon thrown over the top of it. It was really unpleasant.

I might have some preconceived ideas before arriving in Marrakesh. Morocco was a country I had never visited before and Marrakesh a city I had only experienced though movies and media. (Hard to trust the movies and the media these days.)||The perfect journey on a direct flight from Ireland saw me arrive late in the evening with a driver awaiting.||The 30 minute journey to the Ksar Salha was uneventful, apart from the occasional near death experience with scooter drivers.||On arrival, greeted by a gentle gatekeeper and escorted from the courtyard into the riad.||Magnificent interior decor and design - very tall ceilings, colourful seating areas, expansive collection of books across a massive wall, reception area and entrance into the dining area.||Warm wlcome form Fatiha then guided to my room. Up a stairway and onto a hallway that lead to my room.||Beautiful , spacious with the biggest bed Ive ever seen - TV on the wall was dwarfed by the sheer size of the room with double doors leading to a balcony.||Ornate, colourful, homely with a spaceous bathroom and a massive bath and seperate shower.||Downstairs for supper - a chicken tagine, salads and water. ||I could get carried away writing about the experience but in truth words will not do justice to the experience.||It's the most beautiful place to stay - I found it online as an Hotel, but it is really a beautiful family home that dates back to the 9th Century.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. You are being welcomed into an ancient family home with friendly yet quiet and discreet service. They coped admirably with my gluten intolerance. What a place to relax. Facilities were high-end, with the most enormous bath I've ever been in!

We have been here for 3 days and the moment we've entered this place, it's like a complete transformation into another world.
It's a haven of tranquility, a paradise, simply mesmerising. The attention to the details (the whole interior, its like a palace with all interior and ornaments and design …), the room majestic, superb view, pool, garden, hamam, spa, and not to mention the food, Michelin worthy in every aspect, traditional Moroccan food served like Beef/Chicken/Fish… Tajin but cooked marvellous with the best spices and ingredients one can think of.
Need hours to write all top things here, but keep it short.
Excellent, Superb and the hosts Fatiha amd Sheriff best service given, always there, always helpful and have looked after us when ever something was needed.

Absolutely perfect stay here. Excellent service and looked after by a lovely family. Could not recommend it more. 30-40 min transfer to marrakech nice n easy.

SCAM HOTEL beware they steal your money. Due to a funeral we were unable to check in on the original date, the hotel agreed to change date, when we arrived to Morocco only 2 days after original check in date, they classed us as a no show and refused to refund the money and also refused to let us stay. Very very horrible people and shame on you for making the situation even worse. Avoid this hotel.

Great place to stay if you want to relax away from the chaotic city. Marrakech is only 40 minutes away with a driver that the resort arrange for you. The rooms are spacious and the gardens are well kept. Food is all bio produce. Very kind family running the place. I highly recommend.

Ksar Salha, small heaven on earth, extraordinary place for couples, and families, clean, calme and charming, only few rooms maintained properly, makes you feel like in a private palace, takes you away to the beauty of moroccan history and culture with the decoration and their beautiful hospitality.
I appreciat the way that the hoster meet us and take us in a tour in the facility. The food was awsome and very yummy.
What I can say, 100% recommanded and for sure i'll come back many times.

We stayed in this place for 3 nights. The location is nice but we were disappointed with the fact that the swimming pool was not heated although it was mentioned. Also the breakfast was poorly, we missed some eggs and fruits. The shower was broken and gym not functional. As said, the location is nice but next time we would choose for a location closer to Marrakesh as there is nothing else to do in this area.
It was a bit strange to get the direct question "how many stars are you going to give me on Booking? ". When I provided my honest feedback (Good points and points to improve) the owner looked offended and didn't came to say goodbye anymore.

The place itself its nice but it needs a lot of maintenance! The gym materials not working well and the swimming pool not heated as mentioned in the description!
The breakfast was very cheap.

A heavenly oasis 30 mins away from the Marrakesh center. Just the perfect family-oriented place, with a relaxing pool, spa, tennis/basket court, mini gym, and lots of green around to refresh your lungs. Full of peace, comfort, good food and the most wonderful hosts. Always with a personal touch that brings their hospitality and service to the next level. Thanks to Fatiha and her family I spent my birthday in the most magical way… gorgeous dinner with chandeliers, music and a cake!
My first time in Morocco will always be a special one thanks to Ksar Salha and I can’t wait to come back!

We had the most wonderful stay before our journey into the atlas. Despite arriving very late we were still served dinner gone 11pm by the smiling couple who run this small boutique hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and the grounds even better. A perfect base for the mountains or the city. Thank you for the perfect start to our adventure.
