An hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech’s Medina. Only 5 rooms all beautiful and comfortable in this 300 years old riad. Food is excellent and the staff so warm and friendly always happy to help. Despite what one might think, streets around are super safe. Thanks again for making us well so welcome.
It's impossible to reflect what it actually felt like to stay at this incredible, renovated, Riad, in the old Medina part of Marrakech. All I can say, is jaw dropping and memorable. From the walk to the Riad, the unveiling of this massive, exclusive, private oasis through the unsuspecting small wooden door, to the incredible staff that would easily supersede any Ritz-Carlton experience I've had over the last 10 years, to the amazing home meals that the chefs prepared (the breakfast, the dinners, the teas and coffee). And yet, the more you look and peak around the Riad, you continue to find secrets and views and spaces that you just wish you had in your own house or back home. I would 100% come back here, should life allow it and would only stay here if I could. Limited to just 5 rooms, but that's for the best, because, I couldn't imagine sharing this exclusive experience with anyone else than the few we did because it will last a life time.

The AnaYela is a stunning riad tucked away in a quieter part of the Medina. It is not central to the majority of restaurants and shops in Marrakech, but it's an easy walk or quick taxi ride. It has a rooftop lounge area and beautiful, relaxing rooms. We didn't eat dinner there, but the breakfast, served daily in the courtyard area, was very good. But, the best part, was the staff — they were beyond fantastic. Weeks before our stay, the manager, Mehdi, reached out to see if we needed anything before we go there and helped us book airport transport, a day tour, and restaurant reservations. He, and the other staff members, Hicham and Abdullah, were so warm and welcoming and accommodated all of our requests. It was my birthday during our stay and they went out of their way to surprise me with a birthday cake to celebrate. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Morocco.
