In 2017 or 2018, staying at Amanjena, just outside Marrakech, Morocco, was a magical escape, with the city’s lively souks, historic medina, and Jemaa el-Fnaa square brimming with cultural allure. Amanjena’s tranquil setting, surrounded by palm groves and olive trees, offers serenity minutes from Marrakech’s vibrant heart. Its Moorish-inspired architecture, with rose-hued pisé walls, soaring arches, and reflective pools framed by the Atlas Mountains, exudes timeless elegance. The pavilions, adorned with Berber carpets and zellige tiles, merge luxury with Moroccan heritage. The staff’s exceptional warmth, led by an outstanding General Manager, anticipated every need, making us feel truly cherished. A nanny service during our stay allowed us to relax fully, ensuring a stress-free experience. Family-friendly amenities made it ideal for kids, while Japanese dining options were a comforting touch for Asian travelers. The infinity pool, lush gardens, and serene spa elevated the stay to perfection. Amanjena’s blend of Moroccan tradition and Aman’s refined luxury creates a haven you yearn to revisit. Every detail, from exquisite tagines to personalized care, left lasting memories. This hotel is a must for families and culture seekers alike. The staff is very accommodating, they love to see their guests happy and comfortable. Every need was met and then some! Although I didn’t speak the native language, they taught me some of it, and spoke very well in multiple languages. God was fantastic! Recommendations were perfect.

Amanjena was by far the best ever hotel experience I’ve had. I cannot fault them with anything from the amazing design of the place to the food and staff. Staff were always on job instantly and very friendly. Food just spoke for itself both the Italian and Moroccan cuisine. Views from the room were spectacular. This place is honestly where you would go if you want to relax and cool off.

Amanjena is an architectural marvel and a truly peaceful escape, especially in the summer. Our private pool was absolutely incredible, a perfect, secluded paradise. The spa is amazing and offers fantastic treatments. The best part, however, is the staff; they are simply outstanding, attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional.
The only letdown was the food, which was surprisingly average and didn't match the hotel's otherwise high standards.
Just be prepared to dine out in Marrakech for a more exciting culinary experience.

Aman hotels, with their simplicity and elegance, are places where you can enjoy a truly local stay. The hotel is located slightly outside the city center, about a 15-minute drive. The food is not bad, but there could have been more restaurant options. The hotel staff were excellent.

Despite the property showing some signs of age (with room renovations scheduled to begin this summer), the overall experience remains exceptional. The staff is highly professional, attentive, and consistently courteous, contributing greatly to the serene and refined atmosphere.
The setting itself is stunning, offering a peaceful and luxurious escape. The cuisine is of high quality, though there is still some room for further refinement to match the exceptional standards set elsewhere throughout the property.

Aman are always the best experience although this one is a bit tired. It needs a renovation. Service is a bit slow. The Japanese restaurant is very good. The Moroccan / Italian not intimate enough. The gym and the spa are far too old and small. But the place is extra quiet and well located.

We absolutely loved our experience for dinner at Amanjena! We chose to have my husband’s birthday dinner here and the entire experience was beyond exceptional. To start, the staff are incredible — from the initial welcome to the hotel staff throughout and the restaurant. The restaurant has both Moroccan and Italian dishes which is a nice mix, so we took some dishes from both. Everything we had was delicious and the live music was fantastic, with birthday singing and dessert for my husband being the best ending to a wonderful evening. They were also incredible with our toddler daughter and so accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and we even said next time we would love to stay at the hotel which is stunning. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Marrakech!

The Amanjena is a serene retreat in bustling Marrakech and one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed at. The grounds and rooms are stunning and every meal is delicious, but the highlight really is the service. Weeks before check-in, Amanjena staff was reaching out to help us plan our visit, book activities, and answer questions. Before we even introduced ourselves, the entire staff knew our names, which was new for us — we had never experienced quite so personal a touch. Housekeeping made our up our rooms immaculately multiple times per day, and every request was answered immediately. The restaurant staff remembered our dietary preferences and restrictions. All activities were arranged seamlessly. The best hotels stand out for their attention to detail, and the Amanjena thinks of absolutely everything.
We were visiting for our anniversary, and they helped make it a very special occasion. We couldn't be more grateful!

A truly wonderful stay at Amanjena Marrakech. The hotel, rooms, architecture, ambiance, food, and service is one of the best we've ever had anywhere around the world, but what really stands out is how personal the staff and the server make your experience. Since the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the whole kind staff. All the servers would know our names and made us feel very welcome. We really felt at home, and that everyone was trying to make us feel welome. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

For anyone looking to be in absolute tranquillity, and ultimate luxury, this is the perfect place.
The architecture, gardens, pool, and everything else on this property make you feel like you're in a truly peaceful oasis.
The wonderful breakfast by the pool as well as the meals at the hotel restaurants, added to the incredibly luxurious stay.
The spa hammam ritual was also an authentic and pleasant touch, that I'd highly recommend.
Lastly a huge thank you to everyone at the hotel, who looked after every little detail during our stay. It was absolutely perfect.

A highlight of the experience was my first hammam treatment—both deeply rejuvenating and surprisingly intense.
