We have had a wonderful time staying in Riad Thycas. We were greeted with mint tea by Zaid who was very helpful telling us about local things to do. The location is perfect for exploring the souks and very close to the main square.
Karima, the owner was really welcoming and made us feel at home in her beautiful Riad. She is so friendly and caring, even offering for us to join them for couscous and sharing lamb from their Eid Al-Adha celebrations.
The facilities were great and we especially enjoyed the refreshing plunge pool after hot days exploring.
Breakfast was also lovely with Khadija being very accommodating giving chocolate milk to the children.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, including the owner Karima <3, Arby, Khadijah and another lovely member of staff named Khadijah, with a beautiful pot of mint tea on arrival. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and felt incredibly homely.
The staff were genuine, kind, and always happy to help, giving us great advice on what to do — and what to avoid — so we could have the best experience possible. They also kindly helped arrange a wonderful hammam for us, making everything very easy and stress-free.
I would definitely return here again. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

I had a wonderful stay in the heart of the Medina. The location is authentic and full of character, allowing you to experience the real atmosphere of the old city. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is not easy to reach by car due to the narrow streets of the Medina, but that is part of the charm of staying in such a historic area.
What made my stay truly special were the amazing people. Karima, the owner, is exceptionally kind and caring. When my friend needed to go to the hospital, she personally accompanied us and supported us throughout the experience. Her kindness and generosity meant a lot to us and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests.
Zaid was always friendly and welcoming, sharing interesting stories and recommending great places to discover around the Medina. His local knowledge helped make my stay even more memorable.
A special thanks to Khadjia, who kept everything spotless and prepared delicious breakfasts every morning. Her hard work and warm attitude added a personal touch that made me feel at home.
I am truly grateful for the hospitality, kindness, and care I received from everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Medina experience and a team that treats you like family.
