Riad Euphorbe

This is a nice Riad in the heart of the medina. Mohammad is a gem and he works very hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. The Riad is basic accommodation and breakfast is very simple but we felt very safe. It’s about a 10 min walk to the main square and also to the souks.

Don’t book ground floor room.
— It faces the common area where people have breakfast, and just sit and talk other times.
— kitchen is just next door which is very noisy.
— loud music played either through speaker or instruments.
— doors and windows can’t be opened as it’s facing the common area, and the room is dark :)
— worse, the toilet window has gap in it. So if you’re taking shower or changing, people sitting in the tables outside can get a decent view.
Only good thing is the polite and friendly person in charge.

Riad Euphorbe was a peaceful haven from the bustle of Marrakech. Rooms were basic but very comfortable. The owner and staff did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed and got the most out of our stay in Marrakech. The meal Mohammed cooked us on the last night was the best dinner we had all week.

This is a magnificent oasis right in the centre of the bustling Marrakesh.
You can walk to all the attractions within 10 to 15 minutes.
Mohammed was so helpful and welcoming — could not do enough to help.
Has a lovely roof terrace to relax after a hard day sighting.
You need to book in the morning if you want to eat there — they buy in fresh for the day.
Will definitely come back — a real home from home.

Lovely Riad. More spacious and easier to get to that the other one we stayed in. The manager Mohammed is the friendliest, chilled guy full of useful tips and info on Marrakech. He arranged a great night out in the dessert for us. Lovely courtyard, nice room, good sized terrace, nice breakfast. Good place to relax when you need some peace from Marrakech.

This is a friendly, straightforward but very clean haven of peace hidden down side roads away from the crowds. Mohammed and his family looked after us wonderfully, recommending restaurants and places to see. The riad boasts a quiet roof terrace, where we enjoyed a beer in the evening, and a plunge pool to recover from the 35 degrees outside. Breakfast — various breads, jams, juice, coffee — was excellent. Our room had air con and an en-suite bathroom. I’d suggest you book a bigger one upstairs, not opening onto the central courtyard. And bear in mind that payment is cash-only currently. Otherwise, fabulous.

Small and comparatively simple, but very nice Riad. Clean, charming and well maintained rooms. Rooms are not soundproof as is the case „everywhere“ but no noises from the outside. The very friendly and modest host made the stay a relaxing experience.

My time at Riad Eurphorbe was truly incredible. It was my first time in Marrakech and I am so glad me and my friend booked this Riad. Mohamed was extremely helpful, made us feel so comfortable and really looked after us! The food he prepared for us was the best we had on our whole trip. The location of the Riad is really great as it was only a matter of minutes until we were in the markets at Medina. One of our favourites memories at the Riad is when Mohamed and his brother Ali performed to the guests one evening! The host Mohamed and his family have been very friendly and helpful, he organised a few trips for us and made the best meals we've had in Marrakech. I warmly suggest the lamb tagine, it was cooked for hours during the day and the taste was incredible!
The shared hall is very beautiful and a great space to have breakfast and a rest. The terrace is a good place to sunbathe and read. We could walk in and out the centre in minutes and there's lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
I'd suggest booking one of the rooms upstairs as the ones on the ground floor are slightly more exposed to noise from other guests — but all things considered, it's a very quiet place!
