Amazing traditional Riad less than 5 mins from the main Sq. The Riad is spotless. The staff were all amazing, especially the host, Driss who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly!

I want to share appreciation for the hotel.
I made a mistake in reserving the hotel for 3 nights. I didn't realize until booking sent me an email asking why I hadn't showed up. Without even asking the hotel, they had already sent me a FULL refund of the reservation.
Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked for the dates I actually needed. Nonetheless, I want to share appreciation for their kindness in proactively refunding me, even if it was my mistake.

We had a good 4 night stay at this Riad. Extremely authentic and well maintained, nice little pool as well. The building itself is very quaint and proper throwback to original Riads. Quick 5 min walk to Jema Al Fanaa as well which is convenient.
The breakfast is quite decent.
The room, while beautifully decorated missed an air conditioner which was mentioned as standard in our booking. We had to ask the staff to make other arrangements, which was a standing cooling tower fan. This started to malfunction and keep us up at night with loud noises, however, the staff were quick to rectify it the next day. Service is good.

We happily booked Basma Riad on booking. Com which gave us extra15% cash back as our offer, if paid by credit card and got confirmation for it too, firstly we had difficulties to find the Riad as it was not sign posted or numbered, on arrival we found the place very noisy and loud, anyway were so tired and hoping to get a warm welcome atleast with a tea or water but instead we were told that we had to pay only cash in advance and as a result we had to leave our bags and go and waste all afternoon to get some cash out from ATMs which charged us 6% fee, so we made an official complaint that we would only pay for 1 day and cancel but they offered to get a payment machine fixed the next day and they didn't, as the Lady Owner called Fatimeh doesn't want to pay her government taxes although they charged us the local tax on our booking the 1st time. The service was very poorly and the outside the place the street had no lights and total darkness there and we even got attacked by some local kids in one evening who were trying to steal our shopping bags in my partner's hand and she was so frightened.

Riad Malida is the perfect place to stay in Marrakech. Our room was beautiful, with a comfy bed, good air conditioning and lovely decor. The rest of the building is lovely, from the nice cool pool to the rooftop with sunloungers. A very calming space!
Salah is a great host and was around to help with whatever we needed, from arranging taxis to waking up early and getting us a pre-6am breakfast before an early flight.
Breakfast was slightly different each day and was juice, coffee, yoghurt, fruit and different Morroccan cakes/pastries.
The riad is in the perfect location, just five minutes' walk from the main square and close to good restaurants and attractions. We walked everywhere other than the Jardin Majorelle, which was a ten minute taxi. We also booked a taxi through the riad to pick us up from the airport (200 dirhams) and then someone met us and we were walked to the door — after that it was easy to find and Google Maps/Maps. Me had no problem finding it in offline mode.
Definitely recommend staying here.

The Riad is so beautiful! It's close to the Madina. Very safe and the breakfast is delicious. Rooms are perfect and clean. The general environment was lovely. All in all, would recommend, great value for money and the host Salah is so friendly and goes out of the way to help, especially for advice. Just amazing!

Salah and the team could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Right from arranging an airport taxi (recommended) to us leaving they have been attentive to our every need. The Riad is beautiful and homely, spotlessly clean and in a superb location. Just a 5 minute walk to the main square. Even though you are right in the medina, the riad is hidden away in a secluded street so it’s very tranquil. We loved our stay and recommend Riad Malida anytime.

From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed the staff at Riad Basma Marrakech were superb.
They welcomed me, and helped carry my luggage to my room. They demonstrated how the air conditioning and the security safe worked, showed me the Wi-Fi username and passwords and gave me information and times regarding breakfast.
The room was atmospheric which of course looked onto the highly decorative courtyard. The Wi-Fi was excellent and worked faultlessly.
The breakfast which was quickly served on the roof terrace was simple and delightful.
When making enquiries Fatima was incredibly helpful and informative and spoke and wrote very good English. Upon arrival Yassin welcomed me and showed me and familiarised me with the amenities. Latifa was a very pleasant and helpful lady who was flexible with her cleaning times.
The team even helped me book a porter and a taxi to and from the premises. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and professional and I can only say a huge thank you to them all.

Couldn't recommend this riad more! Anas and Ilyass (the hosts) were great from the minute we arrived, giving us recommendations of all the best things to do and places to go in Marrakech. They were also brilliant during the earthquake in Marrakech — they kept us calm and safe, going above and beyond to make sure we knew what was going on, when it was safe to get back to the riad, and they even made sure we could get to the airport when our car transfer couldn't get in to town to pick us up.
The riad was a lovely place to stay, the pool was amazing (especially in the heat) and the breakfasts were great! It's really central — just a 5 minute walk from the central square and even closer to plenty of restaurants and shops.
I would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech, the riad itself and the staff were outstanding!

Just returned from an 8 day trip to Marrakech. We visited with another couple and spend our first 3 nights in the Medina at Hotel Riad Malida. This is a grand dwelling tucked away in the heart of the busy Medina; we had a perfect stay. Our hotel was like an island of tranquility, whilst outside was the hustle and bustle of markets, restaurants and busy squares full of entertainment. Our concierge was Adil… he was so good; meeting our transport from the airport and guiding us to the hotel door. You definitely need to accept the hotel transport option to find this place. Rooms were comfortable with high ceilings, and cool enough without ac; temps outside were 39’. Breakfast was breads, yogurt, juices, jams and coffee… and more. All the staff were so helpful, particularly Adil when we needed some medical support. A trip to Marrakech has to include a few days in the Medina… and you won’t be disappointed if you choose Hotel Riad Malida.
