Riad Fes Touria Palace Homestay

Our stay in Fès at the Fès Touria Palace and our personalized day trip to Chefchaouen with the hotel were easily highlights of our time in Morocco, thanks to Amed and Moundire! Both went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible — from the warm welcome with mint tea upon arrival, the filling and tasty breakfasts that changed every day, the constant checking-in to see how we were doing, the planned tours that allowed to see the medina and the rest of the city despite a rather tight schedule, the friendly conversation, and much, much more. I'd go back in a heartbeat (and very likely will as soon as I can manage it! ) Thanks again to the team for everything.

Good hotel but be careful when buying extra services from the staff Pros: The room was big, clean and stylish. Very nice breakfast. Good location. Cons: The manager recommended us a guided tour of Fes which we understood would involve historical explanations about the city but ended up being one of these touristic shopping tours where artisans try hard to sell you their products and the guide (presumably) takes a cut on the sales. That was very disappointing given that we were charged 150 MAD per person for that. The hotel manager did apologise later on, offering free orange juices. On the first night, I went out to buy water. The manager stopped me asking me where I am going. He then said that there is no need to go buy water as the hotel has bottles. I thought: "oh cool, that's a nice touch". Sadly when came the time to pay for our room, we were surprised to discover that we were being charged 11 MAD for the bottle (the street price is 6 MAD). I wish I was told that the hotel bottles were not free. As a general recommendation, I would advise the staff of this hotel to avoid overselling/overpromising things only to disappoint the guests in the end with a poor experience or a surprise fee. Much better to be upfront about what your guests will get and what price they'll have to pay for it.

Very welcoming and very friendly receptionist, very good breakfast, a terrazita with cool views and many tourists, Wi-Fi, our room something small but very comfortable, shared bathroom but clean.

The staff was great. Moundire is a wonderfull person and Ahmed help me all the time. He give me coints the other countrys for my collection. … so thanks for all.

We stay for two nights and we really like it! Good price for the facility. The two guys there helps a lot with super hospitality. What we like the most is the location in the medina. Near the one of the gate in medina but you can still find easy path to explore and visit the attractions in medina.

Very good riad, user-friendly is located in Medina city not far from the Central area, easy to find. SSpecial thanks staff for the care and help — guys Super! A separate evaluation deserves breakfast — excellent. If you are looking for a place of residence in Fez — without doubt it's a good choice.

Have you wondered where you should stay to experience and immerse into the day to day local life? Fès Touria Palace is the place. It is a comfortable and a peaceful place where you can relax after a full day of walking in the Medina or driving. This place is beautifully decorated and manage by two young, knowledgeable and very energetic men. You are sure to feel at home with Mondir and Ahmed taking care of you. They will give you many tips and advice. Mondir even took us to a very local place to eat on our request. These two genuine men will organize any kind of travel you need to do in Moroccco as they both have a world of experience in travel.

Beautiful guest house with spacious rooms The main area is very pleasant, cool and quiet. The small care staff and the meals are hearty and delicious.
Mr. Lahkim was a valuable help, he helped us organize our trip and advised us regarding the visit to the city of Fez. Typical meals, traditional music and local artisans to introduce us to Moroccan culture.
I highly recommend ryad palace touria which is largely up to the task architecturally, culturally and humanly speaking. We had a great experience with them and we will be back as soon as the opportunity arises.
