It is a very nice, comfortable and quiet place. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained, the recreational areas are well located and their capacity is sufficient for guests. Great service and location.

Only amenity I experienced at the Marina was their restaurant. Pretty good selection of surf and turf plates however, make sure you ask how your steak is going to be cooked, I failed and got a T-bone pan-fried instead of grilled. Despite my wrong assumption, the food is great.

Great location! Beware the aggressive sales pitch tactics! We visited utilizing Club Wyndham points and still got the hard sale. Nice pools and we'll kept grounds. Our one bedroom unit was a bit dated.

Delicious food at the restaurant.

We like a lot of things about this resort. We are here on a sailboat so we cannot comment on the room quality. The Marina is nice, well maintained and easy to get into. We love the two pools and we love that there is a store that sells cheap ice. The sunsets are beyond amazing and the grounds are beautiful. We do not like that the medium quality food is so expensive. If we are going to pay $8.00 for a burger in Mexico, the meat should be high quality and the fries hot. We ate exactly one meal on site. After being disappointed by the quality, we started walking the. 5 miles down the road to cheaper better restaurants. We also are disappointed that the daily gym fee is $10 US per day. We walked out to a local gym and worked out for $3.00 instead. There are inexpensive and local taxis and busses so you do not HAVE to walk. As Marinas go, Paradise Village in PV is a much better deal. Their huge gym only costs $3.00 per day and they have many low cost restaurants in close proximity. El Cid should consider offering resort services to Marina guests at more of a discount. I believe this would attract more boaters who would stay longer.

Hello Good day we stayed at the Hotel Castilla den Total are 4 hotels of the group Cid and 1 residential fractionation, we take a walk that take you to a sailboat all inclusive food, lifeguard Snorkeling bananas, This fregon the ride is all day, we left the yacht Club of the hotel El Cid Marina. The atmosphere since we left thickened to live with the other CREW. The views to see all the beach of Mazatlan The amazing malecon, we saw sea turtles and a whale we were very lucky although not let take the photo came out half blurry already on the island the deer that is where it was really the turquoise blue waters as if you were in Cancun Or in the lower South as Pichilingue. We never thought it was this fine sand and sea so turquoise Blue.
On the way back we were well-eaten and drunk, coming to Castilla because the transport is free between the hotels of Grupo CID. We bathed and went for a game of billiards, the next day we theme dinner the restaurant La Pergola that is to the side of the Hotel El Morro Ojo here is with reservation when you bring the all inclusive plan that is really worth you have all inclusive and you can use until saunas, the club of gol, the Chanchas of tennis, of bolibol, escuash, basketball, and the Infinity pools with previous reservation, eye only the all inclusive package offers it to you…!
Please if you go to the island of the deer lle wins a bag to not throw away your garbage and bequeathing to port leave it in the Deposits.

The staff treats me like a queen! The beach is semi-private, very secure and the few vendors are friends and NOT pushy nor intrusive. The restaurant is good, especially the breakfast buffet including made to order omelets and eggs by fabulous Lupita. She is a delight just to watch. Don't go there. I want it all to myself!

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Facility is beautiful and well kept. Very quiet, with very nice entertainment. Food is very good, with good ambience. Argentine restaurant at El Cid Moro is outstanding part of all inclusive package. Japanese restaurant was not so great.

Excellent spot for a romantic wedding near the sea!

I like it because it's a very quiet place. With pool for children and another for adults. It has a Jacuzzi in the pool for adults. Also in the Marina there is a boat that takes you and brings you to the beach, where there are Palapas del CID and there is service on the beach, where the waiters are very attentive, provide good service. And it's a family place. It is safe there are always staff who take care of the swimmers, they warn you if you are near a place of danger. In the pool area you can enjoy a lot if you get involved in the programs designed by the activity group.

My phone has a special case that allows it to be a wallet. I left my phone on the night stand in room 217 to charge while I was out, and I came back to see that the maids stole $43 out of my wallet it honestly made me very angry. I would not go here again because of something unacceptable like this. Extremely dissapointing.

A very recommended hotel, good location, very quiet place, pools, very friendly staff, waiters, excellent food, very spacious rooms, I think they have at a disadvantage that are not directly to the sea and the rooms do not have that view, The place is nice, the bad thing we do not like is that the people of timeshare insist much, and also one of them is rude to us.

Excellent place to rest without a doubt the hotel where they have a great variety of seafood; The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was very good… I love it.

I visited and they were under maintenance, hopefully will be done soon. Other than that price is good, all inclusive not really sure since the drink are just cheap an the service is awful in many cases, specially if you are not American, kind of hit and miss. Other than that, the place is clean and location is very convenient.

Excellent service and attention to make you feel chiqueado and happy and relaxed I recommend it is a wonderful place.

Excellent Hotel I recommend the all inclusive is entitled to all Mazatlan's facilities of the hotels CID, El Cid Marina, CID Granada and CID Castilla and allow the transfers. It is a hotel for rest is focused more on adults and families and especially the people have boat or Jate super recommended!

Beautiful hotel, with EXCELLENT staff and services! My FAVORITE place to stay in Mazatlan. Only difficult thing is they do not have an elevator to the main restaurant of the hotel. They have handicap accessible rooms and the bell boys will gladly take you by cart from your room to the lobby or pools. There are several different places to eat, and a nice variety of shopping services. As well as, deep sea fishing and other scenic tours. The attentive and friendly staff create an atmosphere of family and coming home.

I could not say enough about El Cid Marina Beach Hotel I’d rest and relaxation is what want it’s here, if quiet is what your looking for it’s here. Servers in all locations from lounge to restaurants and even laundry are on there game. My greatest appreciation is for the staff on the beach they are definitely the “thing” that makes me come back time after time. I could go anywhere in Mexico once a year but I keep going back to the Marina because of the people and MAZATLAN.

Quiet, relaxing and clean. The staff are amazing. Four restaurants on site and walking distance to many more. The little ferry boat takes you across the channel to the beach. Or, you can take the free shuttle to the other El Cid in the Golden Zone to use the beach and facilities there and for access to all the shops and restaurants there.

A lovely place to stay and dicfrurar of its excellent service and its delicious regional cuisine and interbacionl that offers in its different restaurants.

It is a wonderful resort that you can not miss, is more, worthy of compared with "the Island of Fantasy" I recommend that if you can not stop visiting and stay there at least for a week; It has a beautiful parking for yachts of different sizes and luxury, besides the food in its restaurants is delicious and varied for demanding tastes, without forgetting that the staff that attends it does in your language.

Great location. From the pool to the hot tub over the small shopping market, everything is available.

It's a second home without leaving home everything you have there rest fun and very good food and best of all when you go in the company of your wife is all perfect very comfortable a whole week deliciosaaa.

A bit of a trap with the all-inclusive packages, but that's expected. Staff, facilities, food, and drinks were excellent. I will return. Next time, I'll not go all-inclusive as I enjoyed getting away from the resort and could have saved money eating and drinking other places, but will almost certainly still eat and drink some at resort even at their inflated prices. Very happy with the resort, there are 5 stars for a reason in this review.

The three pools always clean and waiter service to where you are makes the stay very pleasant.

Excellent hotel. The only thing is k the beach that has closer is not ideal for swimming but the hotel and pool are very good.

There is not enough parking spaces available and there's a parking section that's is not illuminated so it's very likely for cars to get vandalized or people robbed, there's a boat that apparently drains sand to prevent other boats from getting stuck, the boat is in front of the hotel and is way too noisy like being at a construction site kind of thing, air smells like burned diesel all the time. Waiters at pool area are always questioning about all inclusive bracelets and refuse service even though everything is supposed to be all inclusive and act like food cops, my personal experience here was a very bad one and not thinking on coming back or recommending it to anybody, management needs to provide training to its employees because they lack the minimum skills to provide a satisfactory customer service experience.

Excellent hotel, we love the whole family. Excellent rooms, all the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious at any of their restaurants. Not to mention the private beach, which you're transporting on a small boat.

The best season is in summer or Easter. At another time it's too quiet, getting to be a little boring.

We love El Cid Marina. The staff is friendly and always helpful. They make you feel at home. La Marina food is very good, and the brunch on Sunday is delicious. This is the fifth year to stay at El Cid Marina Beach Resort and look forward to returning every year.

Great resort nice resaurant breakfast buffet is excellent. Nice clean pool with slides and mini waterfalls and outdoor hot tub. A few local shops where you can buy snacks and drink. On site doctor and local beaches within walking distance. If you book with El Cid you get free transfers to other local sites like El Cid Morano & Granada (5mins in taxi) and also towel coupon to use at any of the sites. We did not actually stay at the Marina but we visited several times as we prefer the pool and amenities here. Staff are friendly and helpful and offer a good service.

Came here for the day for an excursion on my Carnival cruise. The deep pool was awesome, there's plenty of places to explore in the pool (including a cave/grotto that leads to a different section of the pool). The poolside restaurant was nice. As for the beach, it was very relaxing and nice to swim in as well.

Service is great. Hotel activities are wonderful. Hotel provides sufficient information about local activities. Rooms are clean.

Excellent service, very close to the Malecon. The beach is clean and comfortable to be in. The Malecon is about 2 km away but there are taxis or pneumonias that move you. Laa Room are comfortable and close there is a place called Pronatour where you can buy the services.

It is very well located, surrounded by a lot of nature and is very large and beautiful. The rooms are impeccable and considerably spacious for a great stay, the service is attentive, professional and punctual. Perfect for a family vacation.

This was my second trip to El Cid in Mazatlan. This time I took my grown children. I wanted to share the experience of Mexico with them. We had a wonderful time. The hotel accommodations were amazing. Everything you could ask for was just right there. Pool, beach, store, restaurants, medical facility (thank goodness we didn't need that) and entertainment. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The tours were well worth the price. My favorite is the tequila tour, where you learn how the tequila is made and free samples, also at lunch, you get to learn to make your own tortillas and salsa. The food was amazing. It was a lot of fun.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Food is superb, and drinks are plentiful and free flowing. The only minor annoyance is having to sign a bill for all-inclusive, every time you go to eat. However, it's nice to have the option to go to the other sister resorts. Would recommend this resort, the marina in particular for an older, more sophisticated crowd.

Called daily to inquire about lost laundry and to see if we could get the room we reserved. Made management aware several times of these issues and nothing was done about it. Still not sure what the problem was, but they didn't seem to care much about our clothes or our reservation. This might have been a 4 star hotel 30 years ago, but no longer. There are hotels with better service and cheaper prices a little further south in the golden zone.

I really like the pools here. The grotto pool is great.

Excellent service. The staff is very friendly and the room always spotless. The rooms have views of the marina, gardens and beach. As for sitting on the balcony watching the sunsets of Mazatlan… If you are thinking of an all-inclusive, this is one of the best options because in the restaurant the food is very rich. Many people believe that this hotel has no beach, but it is not so; in fact to get to the beach you have to use a boat taxi and it becomes a whole experience! It has two swimming pools, bars and snacks, you help to transport you on a cart, a small mini golf course.

El Cid Marina is a beautiful resort with incredibly helpful, kind and attentive staff. Everyone there, from the bell boys, to maids, to waiters and the restaurant staff is very professional and ready to satisfy any need you have. You can take the shuttle in to the other resorts in town because the marina is out of town a bit but I preferred to stay at the Marina because it seems more peaceful. I also think the food was best at the Marina and dinner at La Terraza is a great fine dining experience.

The services is great, the beach is a private beach with great service, the food also is good, there are rooms with kitchen and 2 pools and jacuzzi, the price was wonderfull, im recommended this hotel.

Plan Elitte best together with Mr. Francisco as a waiter. You will feel in paradise. Times shared that if it is disgusting. The foreign Susan. You discriminate. A foreign discriminated against in your own country. But as is millionaire time-share no one puts a high. Maybe complain in PROFECO or to check their legal stay in the country. Love of the law against discrimination.

Nice hotel for the price. Great entertainment. Be careful of the railings on the outside walkways on the upper levels, they are pretty low. There is a superb pizza joint right outside the hotel too!
