The hotel, restaurant (especially Spice Buffet) & employees are great. The pools were beautiful, cabanas, swim up bar, free drinks. Our room was facing the ocean, so we could hear the waves every night. Make sure you check out their new spa & go early before your treatment or stay after. Its beautiful. I had a wonderful massage with Pearla. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the algae. It took over the ocean & beach for 3 days of our stay (I can't do clorine). So I couldn't swim. It finally cleared before we left.

Loved this place. Loved the food choices (tons of vegetarian options). Loved the alcoholic beverages. Tipped the staff daily for the wonderful customer service. No need to get an expensive room because they all look the same just square footage difference. Best of all… no kids! Beautiful Resort.

It's a hotel. A cool large pool overlooking the Caribbean. There's a bar inside the pool. Foam parties, water volleyball. Food, alcohol, service are all fine! The staff are super friendly! You can always eat at any time, there is also a lounge 24 hour, for those who do not sleep and who want to drink a glass, another. Evening show daily, dancers, acrobats, jesters! We ordered a romantic dinner by the sea, super, all liked, unforgettable! We had a bathroom in our room right in the room, cool, and kind of a chic hade on the sea. There are always some disadvantages, discontents and shortcomings. But I didn't really find them at this hotel. Thank you for the excellent service and for a full rest.

The service was amazing from the moment we entered you are treated as family and with the upmost respect. The rooms are beautiful and serviced twice daily. They always make sure you have everything you need. The pool and room service (included in all inclusive) are both 24 hours. The sunsets are amazing here. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything and they also have fair priced excursions at the hotel. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. You get way more than your money's worth here and the food is amazing.

Over all, the experience was ok. There are a couple of things that I found disturbing for a resort that claims to be of diamond quality. One thing is the practice of placing towels to reserve a lounge chair by the pool when we were told that the practice isn't allowed. My question is why have a policy when it's clearly not enforced? The second issue is the dress code which really discriminates against men. There's something amiss when a resort cares more about a man shows his toes and legs when going for dinner, than the fact that on occasion, I had to dine with an overweight woman wearing flip flops and in a bathing suit with a transparent cover-up seated in front of me. I wanted to be reseated, but thought that might not look very good. I have seen and heard many guests comment on both of these policies and think they are a joke. Please do something to remedy these issues. Thank you.

Been here in 2017, everything was great. 2018, May, total 180. Service garbage! Manager does not care if you leave negative comments, so here goes my review then. If you want a towel for pool/beach area, you either reserve it to be delivered daily to your room or suffer the consequences of no towels. Towel are given in one location of the hotel and they are not even there 90% of the time. Explanation I received, "we are conserving soap use". You want to swim in the Golf of Mexico and have a piece of mind, because obviously that's one of the many reasons you would come here. In this hotel, you will be asked to swim in a 2x2 area designated by yellow flags, because it is convenient for life-guards. You expect to have post shower slippers? Don't. They are not given out anymore. Only if you ask for them. All events in the hotel resort, they charge you for it and they charge you crazy money. You want private dinner? No problem, 360$ US dollars to be served what everyone else eats in the buffet for free, but you will feel VIP, because you are sitting in the evening by the sea with wind blowing your dinner plate off the table. Enjoy. US dollar to pesos exchange rate is different in all parts of the hotel. Concierge area gives you one rate. Stores inside the hotel apperantly are entitled and give you their own, lower rate. Go figure. If you value your time and money, do NOT go here! They got 4/5 stars/diamonds. Not even close. 2 star hotel at best.

Beautiful adults only property with nice rooms all beach front. Food was good and so were the drinks. Only complaint would be no air condition in the common areas of the resort. It's kind of hot.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here last week and couldn't have had a better time. The food was amazing. The staff was SO nice and remembered our preferences. Everyone was amazing! We splurged on the swim up suite and fully enjoyed all that came with it. Granted this was our first all-inclusive visit, but I don't know how it could have gotten any better. Can't wait to come back!

People! Be careful with the food in this all-inclusive resort. Both my boyfriend and I had Hibachi in their Asian restaurant last night and went back had really bad diarrhea. I woke up 4 in the morning and can't continue sleeping because of the pain. At around 10:30am this morning we ordered room service for breakfast because we still did not feel good. And after the breakfast we both threw up and the diarrhea got worse. I'm so glad that I brought medicine from the US so we will not die here. Horrific food and can't imagine how dirty they were! Our flight back to the US is in 5 hours and we have no idea what should we do about ourselves… Guys have to be careful with the food here. Everything else was good, but the food here is absolute beyond horrific, and they can definitely ruin your whole trip. Watch out please, and good luck!

All unbelievable, the only thing that failed was the WI Fi in the room. The rest unbeatable.

I have been to this resort a dozen times and the last two stays showed me that this resort is no longer worth the expense. As the years have gone by they have simply realized that they can match the quality of the lowest quality all inclusives and still get people to stay there. The staff even commented that since so many people use points to stay, they can match the amenities of lower quality resorts and still profit. I have stayed in the same swim up suite for the last five years. This past February I arrived to find that they have removed the steam shower from the master bath (they didn't replace or repair the shower; they just ripped the unit out and caulked the space), they have removed the in room liquor and wet bar (they claim too many people were drinking too much so they did it for liability reasons), they removed the Bose sound system so there is no music in the suites unless you have a really good laptop, they removed the DVD players (which ruined my ability to show a wedding DVD; the reason for this trip), they removed the gaming system, the toilet was broken, the phone was broken, the AC never got below 76 in the room. Despite having the cabinet for room service delivery so you don't have to be dressed or greet staff, they now bang on the door incessantly for 10 minutes followed by multiple calls to the room so they can try and extract a tip from you.

Beautiful views. The people working here are smiling but are only helpful when you tip. We, being my husband and I, waited at the bar for 15 minutes without as much as a nod from the group of bar tenders standing around talking. Every person is trying to sell you a time share. If you are a female bring dresses and heels otherwise they won't let you in public places or restaurants for dress code violations.

We went to Zilara for the first time in the spring of 2016… it was by far the nicest hotel and property we have ever stayed at. We are going back in a few weeks… it's a vacation destination not to be missed! Wonderful all the way around… More than 5 stars!

Pesimo service in customer service by phone, I tried to make a reservation by phone and without exaggeration I have called ten times and they have me on hold, just when it arrives my turn cut the call.

In Love with this place! Besides the fact that this hotel is situated in the best resort zone in Cancun, it has an amazing view, beautiful beach and cabanas, it’s also an upgraded version of All Inclusive: great service, delicious and variable food, quality coffee shop and upscale desserts. Two levels higher than Sandals on Bahamas for example. We would love to come back!

Chill adult only hotel in the hotel zone. Wonderful views and pool area. Plenty of chairs and cabanas available at the pool and on the beach. 24 hour lounge had all the serve your own snacks and drinks that I would want! Nice staff, not too pushy about "extras" and helpful with travel to/from.

Hyatt Zilara has been wonderful. Staff are very pleasant and approachable, and the service was terrific. There are numerous restaurants to choose from for each meal and each one had outstanding cuisine. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay.

Recently spent 6 days at Hyatt Zilara for a family wedding. First, the wedding was wonderful. Great place for a destination wedding. More importantly, the hotel was AWESOME! Clean, beautiful, and the staff was amazing. Additional tipping or not you received the same great service. Wonderful place for a vacation.

Beauty, loveliness, success, fashion and good life… That it is expensive, of course it is but you are so accustomed to pay for pirate things to a fifth of the value of what you receive engañandote yourself… Believing that fools pay more for the false that people live… This is not the case as the class and comfort have a price that not everyone can pay… In truth the place is worth it, if you are smart and you give the luxury D enjoy life is for you otherwise look your own… Recommended, very special…

The experience did not exceed the expectations (price), for the same or less I went to the secrets the vine and Live Acqua and no doubt are better.

I would say that the view from the lobby to the sea is beautiful and very punctual attention.

My stay was amazing! Beautiful rooms with ocean views and balcony. Top shelf liquor in room. Gorgeous beds on a white sandy beach. Entertainment, awesome pool area, plenty of places to eat, room service. Night pool parties with foam. Le Blanc gives it a run for the money, with cleaner architecture and atmosphere. But Zilara has a hidden gem that steals the show in my view. The cherry on top is Chef's Plate! Make sure to call ahead and make reservations to one of the finest dining experiences you will ever have. That is coming from a foodie that has been to a myriad of top rated restaurants including Eleven Madison in New York City. Will be posting my photos and review separately. Amazing place! Two incredible Chefs working in tandem, sensational dishes, desserts with shaved 24K gold.

Went there during Christmas with the two free nights of the Chase Hyatt credit card. You can't get better deals out of these free nights. The food is great! The service is nice and they don't have eager eyes looking for tips. But I tips, when I have my change wallet and when I'm happy. The beach in the hotel is a little mysteries. A small portion of it has long shallow water into the ocean, but the rest of the coast grows deep quickly (like those ok beaches). I think they might port sand from somewhere else and made the shallow water for you. Nonetheless, body surfing there is fun!

We stayed at the Zilara over Christmas and had an excellent time. The adults-only resort was quiet and we were always able to get a cabana on the beach. (While the back rows are reserved for guests with upgraded rooms, the front row is first-come, first-served. ) Each room has a beautiful ocean view and we found the air conditioning to be more than sufficient in keeping our room cool. Food is similar to what you'd find on a cruise ship — good but nothing you'd write home about. Room service was always quick, arrived within 30 mins. On Christmas day they had a foam party at the pool with Santa and the whole gang, which was a ton of fun! Staff is extremely pleasant and effective at their jobs, there was never any pressure to tip. Overall, if you want a relaxing getaway this place is great but if you want a party atmosphere, you may find it boring.

Definitely the best hotel where I've been. They treat you like King, the rooms are dreamy, the food is delicious and varied besides available 24 hours in room services. Every weight is worth the experience. Visitenlo that time ceases to exist as soon as the hotel is stepped on, no problem becomes important.

Went here for honeymoon in August 2017. Place was amazing. The staff make this place special because they do a great job at a high standard and they do deserve their tips. Every room has an ocean view and it does feel like paradise. Also it’s very easy to get a sun bed near the sea or pool. The gym and sauna is the best I have seen. Only disadvantage was probably the food because my wife is vegetarian and felt it was very limited. However, overall I would love to visit this place again and it was a great choice for honeymoon.

A hotel with very good atmosphere attention and entertainment. Excellent music atmosphere in the lobby and food in the restaurants.

The most amazing piece of paradise. Recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing pampered luxury holiday. The staff are so very welcoming, Carlos in particular was so entertaining and sincerely fun. David, Ivan and Gonzales (dream team) looked after us really well around the pool area, in fact every waiter/tress was helpful and eager to offer us drinks, even remembering our favourite tipple! always with a smile! The spice restaurant manager remembered our names and was so friendly, the waiters in there were all wonderful. The spa staff Perla in particular are amazing. We had 2 massages, the best we've ever had. All in all the best holiday we have ever had and we will definitely be back!

The Hyatt Zilara was a true 5 star hotel. The staff was so friendly, I've never stayed somewhere before like this where I felt like the staff truly cared and were there for you. The food was amazing. You have to make reservations at Chef's Plate. Also, I highly recommend the smoked salmon omelette for breakfast. The foam party was so much fun! Best white sand beach! Even turtles were hatching when we were there. I got my nails done by Jacquelyn at the spa and she was so detail oriented, my nails look perfect. If you get a massage I suggest being inside in the air conditioning. Lastly, the new coffee shop was such a great atmosphere we stopped every morning for vanilla and caramel lattes. Delicious! The people who work here all deserve raises because they were all fabulous!

The Hyatt Zilara looked great on the website when we were planning our vacation. However, when we got there it FAR outceded our expectations. The world-class service was as impressive as if you were at a Ritz Carlton. The food was great, alcohol was top shelf and plentiful unlike what you read about all-inclusive Cancun resorts. The fitness center was amazing and spotless. We are already planning our next trip to the Hyatt Zilara.

The most luxurious and welcoming hotel we have been to! All service was top notch. The hotel is clean. The food and drinks were delicious! Our room was spotless and constantly maintained. The pools were inviting and never over crowded. Have not one thing to complain about! We definitely would like to return!

The facilities were a bit dated. The food quality could be better as most of the restaurants served food that seemed to be reheated prepared food. The air conditioning in our room was weak. Service overall was very good. The buffet Spice served the best, freshly made, most consistently good food. The view from the room balcony was very nice.

I stayed here for a week and never had a problem. It was a graduation trip, so it was way nicer than any trip I would normally go on. I went to every restaurant except for The Chef's Plate (you had to be some kind of Hyatt special member) and they were all amazing. All of the staff was incredibly friendly. The staff was always willing to help. There was constantly something to do at the resort so you weren't bored out of your mind if you didn't have plans for that day.

If you are like us and plan on visiting Cancun but not sure which hotel to stay at look no further. This hotel is amazing the beach view from your own balcony, personal bar in your own room (which gets refilled every day), the entire staff, the different types of restaurants and delicious food that they all carry, the amazing pool (foam party on Tuesday's), even their gym (every equipment that can be found at a local gym). The staff would constantly make sure you are okay and taken care of. They're aware when you leave from the main entrance of the hotel as well as when you get back. If you decide to exchange money for pesos do it at the hotel. They will give you the best exchange rate. I recommend if you want a cabana to go in the morning and place a towel or something it is a first come takes it but there is a lot of cabanas as well as lounge chairs. There isn't anything bad I can say about this place just be aware of the time shares they try to get you to listen in on. It can take up to 3 hrs or more of your day.

By far this resort provided great service! I would recommend this resort for anyone who's looking for a great vacation with family or friends. The staff here will wait on you and offer any and everything that you may need. They do provide daily activities which are free: tequila tasting, wine tasting, water aerobics, cooking classes, free Spanish lessons anymore! If you just want to relax you can do that as well down by the beach! The staff here have such a personality and even other guest that you meet are just overall friendly! You won't be disappointed at all.

Best hotel experience I've ever had. If you're looking for a place to stay in Cancun, this is the one. The beachfront is gorgeous; the rooms are immaculate; the food is gourmet; the staff are incredible; and the experience is as close to perfect as one can reasonably hope for. Definitely recommend for honeymoon couples!

Awesome services, clean facility, great view in the ocean view room! I loved the balcony as well as the jacuzzi in the room. Amazing performances in the evening. I loved my stay. I'll definitely be coming back!

Clean facilities, friendly service people and many activities to keep guests entertained. Docking a star for less than fresh sashimi (not flash frozen, tasting slightly grainy) and the lukewarm shower waters in my personal room. Otherwise it's what you would expect from staying at any Hyatt Ziva brand of resorts.

Super attention from the arrival until your departure.

This hotel has rooms with view to the sea, which allows us to enjoy a wonderful view. Very friendly staff since one feels that the important thing really is the host. The rooms are very clean and spacious, all have jacuzzi. Restaurants offer typical food of good quality, is also the only hotel that I have seen that it has a sort of cafeteria type starbucks which is already included in the price all included, if you just craving for coffee, tea, frappe or dessert you can go to this place and a good time.

I am Mexican, my experience in the hotel is wonderful, I never felt discrimination for being mexican, but on the contrary, they treated us super well and the way you are greeted at any place of the hotel is friendly, the restaurants are excellent, the food and drink is first class, the spa is magnificent, not to say the rooms are equipped with excellent pillows and yet when you enter the hotel they ask you if you want a special neck pillow for agregártela to the room, as well as if you want the newspaper every day, and that type of atmosphere you want for your room. Clear that he would be back is amazing and I recommend it widely since it passed an extraordinary rest.

Excellent option if you want to have a 5-star Hotel as well as the best options of restaurants. The plus that I think it's great is that you don't have to worry about rooms with SEA view.
