Nice place to stay in Mellieha / Malta.

Absolutely love it. Kinda hippie style, beautiful peaceful decoration everywhere. Owners and staff are SUPER Cool and helpful. Not the place if ur looking for “luxury” but definitely the place if u want a family-like peaceful environment. Plus; great value for the price. Highly recommend it for young travelers.

Good location, nice interior, reasonable prices!

I didn't stay here but a friend in Malta insisted I visit this place whilst I was here and I wasn't disappointed. This guest house won my heart with its decor and charm, Plus all the staff was warm and welcoming. Heaven…

Such a gorgeous place with amazing people taking care of it. You can feel the heart and soul of it + a real sweet vibe that makes you not want to leave! Me and my brother have stayed here for 4 nights in Malta. Absolutely recommend guest house if you want to chill out in peace not crowded very chill especially the rooftop of this guest house is absolutely amazing.
All the staff are very welcoming and warm. We decided to stay here instead of staying in a hotel as we wanted to chill out on the rooftop of here.

OK prices, friendly owners, had no hot water in our shower the first night, but the owners gladly moved our room within minutes once they knew.

Excellent getaway, for body and mind.

A homey very friendly atmosphere and incredibly nice hosts. We enjoyed every minute in this guest house with all the positive vibration, energy and love in every detail of our temporary home. Our favorite spot was the splendid roof top with the breath taking view all over Mellieha.

Well, what can I say? I had a great time at the Splendid Guesthouse. Once I arrived at Mellieha, I had some problems to find the place. Without thinking twice Robert, one of the guys who manage the place, came to pick me up and took me to the guesthouse. Since the first moment spent in this cosy place, I definitely felt at home. After checking in with Ali, the other owner of the bnb, he kindly showed me the guests commons areas. I spent 5 days in Malta going around the island and every time I went back to the guesthouse I felt like to meet some good friends of mine. The whole building is cleaned and nice furbished, with coloured furniture and pieces of art made by Ali who is also a great painter. You can feel they put their hearts on what they've done. There are two lovely areas where you can chill close to the main desk and a lovely roof top terrace offering you a great panoramic view on both Gozo and Comino islands. The rooms are very nice and cleaned. The Wi-Fi connection was working perfectly. On my first night, I had had some trouble with the shower, but Robert and Ali promptly sorted it out. As they both are locals, they gave me all the info I needed to easily move throughout the islands. They also suggested me to visit some lovely less touristic spots. I ended up in having a chat with them in the chilling area or on the terrace, every night when back from my long day out. The splendid guesthouse isn't just a place where to sleep in. It's more than that.

The place is spotless clean. All the spaces of this two-storey traditionnal house are beautifully decorated. The roof has an amazing view of the church down the road with the sea in the background. Ideal for "apperitifs" and sunset. The location is perfect to catch buses, to food shop or to enjoy a meal in the restaurants within 2/ 5 minitues walk. The main asset to me was the team running this guesthouse. Always there for a chat, a joke or a recommandation of a hidden treasure to visit on the Island. Thanks for your big hearts. I felt like I knew them all my life.

Splendid Guest house is simply splendid … clean rooms some with private bathrooms, rooms are spacious and full of natural light, my stay was very special, meeting the friendly stuff who have helped me with all questions regards locations and beaches in the north of the island. A perfect place to stay highly recommend. Guest house is in central location north of the island close to post office, bars, restaurants, bus stations, beaches.

Very basic. Cheapest in town though.
