Recommend this place to anyone who stay in this area. Spacious room. Good environment and love the decoration.

Upon entering, the room looks ok, neat. But the toilet is super dirty. All the disgusting mould from goodness knows when on the floor, door, sink, pipes! The coffee and tea tray also dusty. Even after asking reception and housekeeping to clean it up multiple times, still nothing was done. Wifi doesnt work, had to buy my own data. Convenient location is its only saving grace.

Very value for money because of convenient location and comfortable accomodation. Place can ve cleaner, however, and the Wi-Fi isnt strong as my phone cannot even connect to the Wi-Fi despite having the password.

It's really dirty inside the bed as I feel very very itchy when I lay on the bed! And I think they never clean again after I requested to pasteurize! How "good" they treat customers?!

It’s was so disappointed, while check out they said that they found durian inside our room and they not refunded our deposit! Service also very poor，got smoke inside our room！！The Counter malay girl was very impolite！！Pattern like she is a Boss！！！

A good location near Komtar, shopping malls and food place. Can't sleep well in the midnight until the next morning due to the noises of the pub.

Poor equipment, water heater regulator a loose, a completely not, and then we 3 people with an outsider sharing room, common room does not matter, but 3 people only to a cupboard, plus one to 50?

Very nice hostel! Location is good to go around landmarks in George Town, famous street foods and bus station. Especially some staff had a great service mind.

I'd give it a 2 but I shouldn't be a jerk on my issue. Room was okay. Location is good. Then there's the tale of the Lost Soap. I wanted some soap to shower with but the room's was empty. I ask for a refill and am told that someone will fill it. Nearly an hour passes. I ask again if there's any issues. They say it'll be filled personally. I wait a while longer. As I get to the desk, the person in charge is about to go fill it. YES, it's finally happening. But that's the problem, I got my hopes up before the job was done. Turns out, the key to open the dispenser isn't available. I'm writing this as I'm walking to 7-11 to buy a bar of soap and a cheese bread stick. 7-11, 4/5, would buy there again. My experience at the hostel was okay, but 7-11 having a bar of soap makes me feel better (cleaner).

A reasonably clean and priced hostel for youth, travellers and family. No food provided but you can just buy from the shops nearby. Provide common area space to hang out, eat, play some table games and even computer with internet access. No lift though, with colourful flight of stairs to encourage you to step it up. Bed is a bit lumpy for my quadruple room. A small pool and kitchen at the back for your convenience.

Nice clean hotel but we got a room that is facing a pub that closes at 3am and we can't sleep due to the noises.

Wassup is cool calm and peaceful hostel with facilities of private rooms. Penang as it's self a very displined and peaceful city. Wassup is nicely decorated with a small pool … I really loved place… zero noice and clean.

A hotel disguised as a hostel. Many things to improve! Poor cleaning. Nice common spaces, the pool table impossible to use all unbalanced! They have an adjoining bar open in the evenings but if you don't consume they hunt you! The rooms are basic. Horrible the dark carpet smelled! And the gray mouse walls make it look like a prison. The Wi-Fi works little and the PCs don't work for anything! Nice pool but very small. With 4 people is already full! It's fine if you're passing through and you'll fit in, but at this price you'll find better!

Easy to go anywhere. Center of town. 5 minute to Komtar. Near best cendol in georgetown, Lineclear Nasi Kandar, Hameediyah Nasi Kandar. Nice place. Staff is friendly.

Good location close to great food places. Pool area and the club next door can get very very loud. Clean nice room though. Very popular with local tourists so that's a positive imo.

A tad expensive but great location. Love the interior deco. Only thing that disturbs me was that the bathroom was leaking with water dripping from the ceiling.

Single room with private bathroom. Very clean, good AC. Nice staff. No problems. Would stay again.

Good service, friendly staff. The staff was very friendly and perfectly formed, the pool was great. Luggage service is also available.

Good place for a short stay. Bigger rooms and helpful staff.

Not worth for such a price. The good things about this hotel is that there are facilities like relaxing area, swimming pool and night bar. However on the bad side, there's no free parking. The noise coming out from outside road vehicles especially motorcycles and the noise from the night bar can be heard in the room that I stayed.

We stayed in a 4-Bed En-suite Dormitory Room for 3 nights the bed was comfy but the pillow is not, the wall was also fugly but overall it was a comfortable for thw price you pay. The hotel is located near komtar n 2 other malls and you can walk to tourist attractions around Georgetown. The staff was friendly and helpful especially Lyn/Lin and this one indian guy.

A great place to stay. The single room was containing heater, air-conditioning, Tv, Safe, refrigerator, Wi-Fi and private bathroom. And the price was good compared to other hostels.

I think the place is good for young people who is travelling. Have a billiar in first floor.

Everything in the room is nice, is just that the air conditioner is not cool enough and the Wi-Fi are so terrible and end up using own data instead. Body wash dispenser is not working in our room, the water tap on sink is loosen, there's a problem with the air conditioner control.
Will definitely to stay once more if they could adjust their response on answering customer enquiry.

— Kitchen comes with cups and plates if you want to 'tapao' awesome hawker food back…
— 2/3 staff that were very friendly and helpful
— Non-overpriced beverages unlike most hotels

— Wifi is REALLY, REALLY slow (tried all 8 of their Wi-Fi points, still slow), ended up using own data during our stay and even that, the location is not prime location for Digi users. Even the lounge area has no connection.
— ONE of the staff (a slightly older looking lady perhaps late 20s, with glasses and long hair) is rude and has that "don't want to stay then don't stay lah kinda attitude"; we asked if the price is the same as walk-in and online booking and that was the face given. Not a single eye-contact nor welcome or thank you from her to the customers.
— Housekeeping can be better. They only make the bed and change the towels when asked for housekeeping. Floors were still dirty.
— Water supply completely cut off when they refill the swimming pool Will definitely stay again if the room rates are adjusted according to their facilities and service.

It's a budget hotel or hostel, but I think price is high compared to other surrounding hotels. Staff are helpful, arranged Taxi for us on last day. Room is old but clean. Near to Komtar Tower. Good shower, hot water, cool AC & no sound. No restaurant in the premises, took breakfast outside. Secured place. No need of a Credit card for booking.

Really Nice hostel with a super good sosial erea, to bad it was no one there. Were alot of unsosial asians staying there when I were there. So guess it depends on the ppl that are there at the time. The hostel and the reseption were first class tho, with tickets and information.

We had a good experience here. Rooms are quite large and clean. Location is perfect.

Easy to access from the Komtar Terminal, the receptionist was kind. Even we can go to upside down museum by walking from hostel. It's a good place to stay.

Near Komtar bus station which is convenient to backpackers. The price is worth because it includes everything you need. Only the Wi-Fi got a little bit slow, the computers can't use it, can easily heard other people's chit chat and the step walking the stair which will interrupts us. The designs was cool and staff were friendly. Will comes again.

Conveniently located for sightseeing as it is near the Komtar bus station for travelling around Penang. Nice big room with strong water in the shower; it has no lift so be ready to climb. Recommended for younger people, I felt a little out of place being middle aged, though young receptionist didn't seem to mind catering to older aged guests.

Standard room facin back street which is Komtar. The toilet are big enough except leaking from showe (still can have best shower) the room was okay & comfortable. Just under the bed quite dirty with dust & found used condom?! seriously those couple are stup**, dont know how to throw those dirty stuff — _-" book by using agoda/booking much cheaper.

Hight price for bed acomodation, many many mosquitos and mold on the walls.

Very comfy, friendly staffs and the facilities there are suitable for a leisure stay either with friends or alone. Will be back to there again:)

Clean and pleasant hostel to stay at.

It's a nice place, rooms are a bit small, but clean and affordable. The common spaces are very nice in a modern style. Good Wifi, computers available, reliable staff. Internal vending machines for drinks.

Nice environment. Friendly service.
