INCREDIBLE PEOPLE & AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY! The Motel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants, etc. In the town. The room seemed brand new and exceptionally clean, with great air-con, shower, etc. They are doing some development, so no doubt once they’ve finished it will be even better (they have plans for a cafe, etc). What really made the stay brilliant however was the people, who went above and beyond so many times, being so helpful and kind throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone. Thanks again! :-)

Very comfortable place with very lovely owners. Mr Chan and his wife are so lovely people knowing how to handle their guests. They gave tips on what to find nearby and took care of us all time. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

We are family of 3 from Langkawi, staying 2 night in this motel from 6 — 8 May. Room are super clean, comfortable, air condition was cold, owner are super friendly. Staff are helpful. We will definitely come back.

A piece of heaven. Cleanliness, daily cleaning with change of toilet linen, very nice couple always smiling, the mistress of the house treats you cupcakes and is to small care for example she puts your fresh products in the fridge. Hotel a little removed from the city center but it is in 5 ' walk and here it is quiet. Place to recommend. We stayed there for a week. Free Wi-Fi.

The hosts are the best, like the others mentioned in a lots of reviews. The motel is most like hotel (now it's just one building but they will extend it soon). The rooms are comfy and well equipped (the superior rooms have 2 tables and chair as well). The rooms have openable windows, which is really rare here. All in all nice stay, close to the beach, the night market and the food courts. Absolutely recommended to stay here. :)

I’m not a big fan of motels, but this motel is worth every penny. The location is just amazing, between Rasa Sayang Hotel and The golden sands Resort. Many dining shops near by. 3 to 5 minuets walk you can be at the beach. The motel is running by the owner himself and his wife, so they really treat you like you’re visiting their house. The rooms are well maintained and VERY clean! I’m going to stay in this motel again if I would visit Penang later. Big thanks to the owner who was too friendly and accommodating.

This is a clean motel. The owners are very courteous and caring. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep, I would highly recommend Rasa motel.

Spent a week at this hotel and was very impressed, hotel was very clean and excellent location. The thing that really made this hotel was the owners they were so incredibly nice and helpful and all for the best price in penang. When I return to penang I will deffinatly be staying here again!

Best budget hotel in town. Location is amazing, just in front to the Shangri-la rasa sayang resort and 3 mins walk to all shops and restaurants. Owners are incredibly friendly and super helpful. Rooms are spacious, practical and very clean. Free water, tea and coffee. Internet is fast.

Staff: Very welcoming, friendly and helpful Room: Comfy beds, spacious bathroom, great airconditioned Amenities: Lovely massage parlour, tasty steamboat and small mini-mart The couple owned motel was very friendly and helpful, the lady greeted us with a cup of ice cream each, it was a blazing hot afternoon, the ice cream and the aircon in our room was what we needed on the day of our arrival. The steamboat and food there was good, the massage was great too, and we got 20% off for both. About 8mins walk to the beach, 3mins by vehicle, you can park it beside Golden Sands Resort or more accurate at "Ferringhi Sea Sports. Co" on Google Map, RM3 will be charge for parking.

Awesome hosts and a lot of value for the money! Got offered delicious selfmade bread and springrolls all the time, even though breakfast was not included. Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. So nice value for money!

Now 2.55am 3rd august. I reached penang (from kl) and drive straight to Rasa Motel. Have called earlier asking for room availability Even we hv stayed last time for 5times. When reach here, I choose deluxe room and I received key. Before that I asking d owner when I need to check out. He said today at 12pm. I just wondering I hv come over fr few times, when I check in late thy will charge extra and I will check out another day. But today he said he consider its 2august even d time 2.34am on 3rd august. If I check in today with rm70 per room, I need to check out by today 3rd august at 12pm. If I wanted to check out on 4th august I need to pay rm130. Im too tired to argue when d owner keep telling us today 2nd of august even now 2.55am on 3rd august. Dis not fair for me as me keep coming back here when I on my holiday. Today im very dissapointed and decided not to come here anymore.

Probably one of the best budget accommodations in BF. The couple who ran the place was incredible. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and across the 101 bus stop. Bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi, AC, and hot shower worked fine. Spacious toilet with everything working and sufficient places to put your shampoo bottles, etc. Free hot and cold drinking water. Towels provided. Multiple sockets. Table and chair in the 2+1 room. A wonderful change if you've been staying at backpacker hostels like I was. Only area for improvement for me would be that there were some tables outside my window (Room 103) and some people stayed there chatting until a bit late. Perhaps a signage to lower voices past 10pm? Thank you!

Nice place. Very comfortable and the staff are so friendly. Near the beach, night market and complete facilities. They serve us some breakfast and this is your good suggestion to stay on your holiday.

Cheap and friendly stay. Probably the best bang for your buck in Penang with clean and well equipped rooms, friendly staff, 20m to the bus station, 5 minutes to the beach. Free cold and hot water by the reception. Oh! And Li Ping makes fresh bread every day!
