Not recommended especially for local malaysian. Receptionist very rude, talking with customers like no manners and shouting like we are foreigners. Come early just to ask whether can check in early suddenly shouting at us, first impression sucks. Then after few hours, we just asked whether can get a second card and fixed door lock and once again rudeness shown by staff name Foselina. This is the first time we get this kind of bad service, we frequently check in this hotel but this will be the last. I will ensure this gonna be viral until higher management notice how bad your staff are. Tq.

Very bad service, totally not recommend at all! The front desk staff don't know how to deal with the problem when the hotel was obviously overbook on 28 September 2019.

Not recommended. They suddenly told us our booking is not confirmed and room was fully booked. Then transfer to another hotel which is quite far from the city. Luckily, excellent service at the new hotel.

Bad reception, small room, bad taste for sahur. Food not enough. Really disappointed.

Town centre, strategic location to stay if we want to go shopping in town, walking distance to various surrounding shopping malls. Room provides standard quality level of 4stars hotel. Easy parking. Refreshment at coffee house provides good menu at reasonable price. Overall, it is recommended to have stay in The Grand Campbell Hotel.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in KL. However, there are a few things that I'm not satisfied with. One, my parents and I arrived quite late at the hotel which was around 3am if I'm not mistaken. We directly parked the car at the hotel's car park as soon as we arrived, so we had to use the lift to get to the lobby. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know where the lobby was as the lift was located at the back entrance of the hotel. And with the stores in the building that were obviously closed and there's no people around at that time for us to ask the direction, we were obviously quite lost. Quite funny when I think about it again actually. Anyway, it would be good for the hotel management to put up a very clear sign showing which way to go (an arrow at the path that directs you to the lobby, instead of just one in front of the lift). Two, I like the room that I stayed at. But I would like it more if you could provide a bathroom mat for guests to use right after using the toilets to prevent wet and slippery floor in the room. Anyway, I really enjoyed my stay here especially since the mall was like just across the road and it's easy for me to find a place to eat etc. There's also a hairdryer in the room which is like very very useful to me. So, I think it's suffice to say that I would definitely come here again.

Horrible, terible, no smile! Toilet bau pesing, menu sarapan sedikit, loby ke lift jauh, malam sangat mengerikan di lorong menuju lift… sepi. Yg mau liburan atau apalah, jgn tergoda harga murahnya, pelayanan zero… over all very bad…

Unclean, tired, old hotel. I mistook the bathroom towels for floor mats as they are so tired, grey and grubby. I found writing one of the pillows in blue biro (? ), desk was still sticky from previous client, as was the bathroom floor, and the furniture is worn out. Badly. Bonus of a cockroach found under the toilet lid in the morning. Air con never reaches anything below 19 or so either. Breakfast was below average to match the room, milk had run out, waited 5 minutes for two knives to appear, sausages were cold and the TV was set to loud 'club' volume levels. All enhanced by another guest watching their favourite Chinese soap drama at maximum volume on their table. Don't do it. The photos are generous. It's run down. You will be too if you stay here.

Very friendly staff. Berbuka puasa price is reasonable. Virety. Food. Many choise. Very nice view and clean at cafe. Look fresh. Good. Food served. For sahur.

The room is nice cosy and well furnished. However the building facade and retail space is rather outdated. But lots of cool shops within.

Stayed here since the hotel opens few years ago. Location is good. Ample parking. Room is ok but quality of house keeping is dropping… bathroom not properly clean and there were many times rooms not ready upon checkin and given different bed from what was booked.

A lot of thing need to be improved in this hotel. I placed and paid my booking a day before check in but by the time we there they said the booking is not in the system. However kudos to the girl at the reception for make it work and let me stay then. The room and fittings is quite new but poor in maintenance. No phone at all in the room. The lobby and the lift is far from each other. The parking bay is not clean enough. However the location of the hotel is strategic for those want to shopping around.

Very terrible & disappointed with the services of the hotel. Irons in the hotel isn't clean. When I iron my collar, the collar turned black. I stopped ironing and quickly go to the room and wash it. The stain couldn't clean off, I called a guy a counter. He said the hotel won't be responsible for it as I'm the one who iron myself. I was thinking this is hotel iron, it was supposed to be clean. I didn't even asked them to get money for refund. Instead I asked to clean my clothes as tomorrow Morning I'm going for 8.30am meeting. The guy replied laundry tomorrow 9am starts. I requested laundry staff to come earlier to help me, because I only brought a shirt for tomorrow meeting. I repeated I have meeting at 8.30am, he insist me to come at 9am. Why can't this hotel go extra miles to help customer as this mess is caused by them? At least find solutions, hotel staff shouldn't say this is not the hotel problems! Iron should be clean before asked to use by the hotel staff!

Because its just surrounding with many Shopping Mall and there was nearby to Police Station…
To have fun at night,, we can go to 'The Foodtruck Station'…
There was an 'Open Karaoke',, which is we will get to live singing on the stage…
The foodtruck station is at the opposite of the hotel and it will open starts from 9pm till around 1am/midnight…

The aircon is not working thankfully they change our room. The towel looks so dull, and they charge for extra towel. The service is just so so. The water faucet is leaking.

Very frustrated. Aircond not functioning. Inform to customer service to change to other room. Almost 12 hours we still waiting for replacement room. Waiting and still waiting?

Environment is OK, breakfast is simple but not bad. Hotel in the city center, Expressway is also very close, so the evening is more noisy, bad soundproofing. There was a night market Saturday night, a lot of people. The hotel happened to be in the downtown, so it was very congested. But fortunately, the hotel parking space is also convenient. Telephone service is not fast enough, but the attitude is good. You can ask for a Baby bed without extra money.

The service is poor but the location is good.

Hotel yg murah dan berbaloi… bilik selesa, bersih. Toilet juga bersih… staff friendly. Parking lot mencukupi pada kebanyakan waktu (hotel parking level 4). Hanya walking distance ke Sogo, Pertama Complex dan stesen LRT.

First of all I dont like at all about this hotel from the reception until the room. Today my check in day. I already book this room 1 month before and they give me the booking number. Today I arrived at hotel then the reception told me that I have canceled the booking 2 days before. After all I never cancel or get call from this hotel regarding this matter. With no proof from hotel. I dont want to more argue n bla bla bla with reception. I was tired. I came from sabah, fly from 6 a. M that was really tired day. Travel with small children. And aftet that I was being surprise with this thing. It was so rude. Very rude. Because of I am very tired, I ask for another room that more expensive from my booking earlier before. The room not clean at all. Noy in my expectation with what I am paying. So, this is my first and last stay at this hotel. I hope that management will upgrade their front office to be more polite and more up to date if customer booking have been canceled.

Great room with strategic location in KL city. Helpful & friendly reception & hotel staffs during the stay.

Bad room service with dirty bed sheets. Bad location of reception in the midle of a low quality shopping mall.

Great location. But with small lobby, & not user-friendly design, as integrated with shop/mall-like building.

Good & nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly/helpful. Good location for food and shopping. Recomended. Two thumbs up.

Affordable, walking distance to monorail and free KL bus. Breakfast buffet of local foods and toast included. Duty manager available at front desk was helpful in organising Uber/grab but little tourist information available apart from a city map. Multilingual staff but English not difficult for many. Free Wi-Fi in hotel but not always good. Many shops in hotel complex and 7-Eleven on corner. Drink machine in comes useful. Rooms were respectable though a bit warn but for the price Better than backpackers.

Room was clean and comfortable, and you can have kl view from the room. The lifts were old and definitely needs an upgrade/better maintenance.

Room: — Clean. — Small. — With rain shower, but only rain shower, no handheld shower. — Air-con function well. — Friday, Saturday, Sunday, no good sleep for rooms which are facing Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, due to mat rempit (illegal racing) during midnight. — Rooms that are facing the police station, a mosque sit right next to it. Wi-Fi: — Extremely SLOW. Parking: — For resident, not free, RM 5 per entry. Service Quality: — Friendly staffs, but inefficient. — Was calling for a service to repair the phone and the safety box for more then a week, until I checked-out, they are remain unfixed. — Sometimes, they did not service my room. — After room service, most of the time, they'll miss out something that they forgot to replenish. Soap, shower cap, drinking water, tea & coffee, towel… Location: — There is a 7-Eleven located in the same building. — Walking distance away from SOGO shopping complex & Maju Janction shopping complex. — Walking distance away from train stations & bus stops.

Extremely disappointed. Dirty Bedsheets and bed linen. After request they have changed it. They didn't change it after last guest. Probably the worst hotel in Kuala Lumpur. And I have stayed over 50 hotels! This has been a shocking experience. Rooms are dirty and staffs are unfriendly. Not sure how they can operate as a hotel?

Simply awesome to reside. In future whenever I'll visit kl again The grand campbell will be my first choice. All stuff are cordial, sincere & more professional to serve the guest. I like it very much!

Room is big, but not clean. Doesn't provide toothpaste and toothbrush unless you're a VIP. We shifted the single beds a bit and Realize the floor under the bed is very very very very dirty. Even the cup is not washed (photo attached) Not up to 3.5 star standard.

Value for money plus strategic location.

Pleasant stay at reasonable price. Near to shopping district of Jalan TAR.

Value for money. Clean and room not so big. Check in and check out was easy. Location is excellent. The Spanish lady who work at the counter is super friendly.

Gives you a value for what you pay. Yet the buffet is almost same the everyday and some dishes are not labeled. There are some strange shops located in between the reception and rooms which is awkward to walk at times.

Quaint old time hotel already refurbished nicely with competitive rates. Give it a go if want to feel old KL charm. The view from high floor is like looking KL back through time. It is part of the Campbell shopping mall, with interesting shops if you are into tactical wear stuff and pre-loved items. Pasar Malam jalan TAR begins right next to the building on Saturday evenings. Just a tip, if you are staying on weekend, ask for room that are not facing the Sogo complex. Unless you are a racing nuts and wants to sleep to the lullaby of screaming engine of modified car enthusiasts showing off their skills to anybody bothered looking. Must try!

Hi… I was there on the 10 June till 13 June 2016. We check out. The hotel is good but the service is slow. We ask for exchange of the small fridge, its takes few hours for them to change it. The front desk officer (wearing uniform) is not so friendly. The lady (Staff) I did get her name but shes good. The hotel receptionist has no eye contact when talking. I still would like to come again to tis Hotel. I believe they can improve to a better one.

Hotel paling bangang. Suka ati kasi cancel booking. Middle finger.

Good buys for clothes at fesyen blues for big sized people like me!

Use to be a great place, now losing out to other new shopping mall. Still a good place to park your car if you want to go to nearby area.
