We were so delighted with your fabulous resort. You met all of our expectations. The food was delicious and healthy! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was out of this world! Where can you have knowledgeable guides take you to a wild orangutan family and spend an hour filming them. Only in Borneo!

What an amazing experience! Thank you so much to everyone at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort for such an amazing stay. The rooms are lovely, the food is great and the cruises were awesome. I’d also like to say an extra special thank you for making my birthday so special with the cake and night cruise. I couldn’t think of a better way to turn another year older.

Nice place to stay, the environment is quiet and the best place to run away from the busyness of the city.

Great comfortable place. Be prepared for some down time though in between wildlife spotting tours.

Another lodge on the Kinabatangan River, which is worth a visit to. Large, clean and comfortable bungalows, excellent cuisine and see attentive staff await the guest. Those who keep their eyes open have the chance to observe dwarf elephants and wild cats.

The resort is really nice, rooms comfortable, food delicious. The river trips are very well organised and the guides are quite knowledgeable. Staff were just wonderful. I am particularly grateful because I felt sick one day and they helped me a lot to get assistance.

One of the warmest, friendliest, most hospitable resort/hostel I have experienced in my travels, not just in ecotourism. They shuttled me from my last hostel. Truth be told, there was a miscommunication that led to the driver not picking up my friend and I. The resort rectified the situation immediately. And upon our arrival the manager, Fred, was apologetic and gave us a couple of beers as gesture of apology which we gladly accepted :D My experience there was nothing short of pleasant. Saw lots of wildlife on our river cruise. Ryan, our cruise captain, is frigging awesome. Sharp eyes, knowledgeable, experienced and passionate. We saw Civet Cat, crocodile (baby and adult), all kinds of monkeys including five orang utan on our last cruise, hornbills, kingfishers, a snake, and many more Dorm rooms are really nice. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms clean. Food is tasty. Staff are, as I said, friendly helpful and passionate. They took great care of us and made sure we are in good hands even after we leave the resort. Relatively young crew and I can tell they love what they do. I can't say enough food things about this resort. Great energy. Great place. Highly recommended.

Really affordable! AC in room a plus. Saw proboscis monkeys and hornbills on rhe first day!

For the price I paid it was more than I could ask! 3 days 2 nights: 4 boat trips, 2 jungle treks, Breakfast, lunch, dinner (buffet) and an evening snack with coffee and tea. And of course the transfer from and to Sandakan. Nice comfortable clean rooms. Great showers. Good food:) Friendly and helpful Staff. Only Digi works there for internet. Keep that in mind;) People complain that they didn't see many animals during there boat trips and treks in the jungle but they seem to forget that it's wild life out there and you never know when you ll spot one. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

Peaceful place surrounded by nature. Very friendly staff, especially Ryan our boat/jungle guide who was trying his best to show us wildlife and nature:) Highly recomended if you have a Kinabatang river cruises on your mind.

Our guides Mayson and Ryan were amazing. We went up to Sakau and saw elephants cross the river, right in front of us. The lodge itself and the food was good. One thing that they could fix (and I would warn against), is that out of 7 pairs of boots tried by our party, 2 had holes. If you do rent their boots, I'd suggest putting them in water before you put your feet in. Other than the muddy feet, great stay. The hammocks above the dining area were my favorite hang out.

Booked 3D2N. Slept in dorm. Clean and air-conditioned. Food was very good, a typical continental breakfast and for dinner you can choose between chicken and fish (self-service). Bonbon the guide was great, as he spotted alot of different animals. We saw many different monkeys (long-tailed and pig-tailed maqaques, Silver Leaf Monkeys, Proboscis Monkeys), orangutangs, birds (different Hornbills, various Kingfishers, Egrets, Eagles and Falcons), and even three elusive ones: a flying lemur, elephants and a crocodile! Needless to say, we were extremely lucky as wildlife can be elusive and sometimes you don't spot anything. These are wild animals after all! But the Kinabatangan is nonetheless beautiful. We had all sorts of weather during our stay. You can buy leech socks (didn't see any of them), ponchos and also rent rubber boots for the trekking (much needed). The staff also put on a show with singing and dancing :D Thanks to all of you for an unforgettable stay!

A very good hostel with friendly staff and food. Clean rooms and the showers are perfekt! The disappointing; the tours are week and you will not go far from the resort, do not expect that much wildlife except monkeys and birds. This place gets the stars because of the accommodation, not from the tours, probably the worst I been on. Most of it feels fake, for example, the monkeys shows up every day in the resort just before a new group shows up, and yet the deny feeding the monkeys. Don't forget mosquito repellent! :)

Comfortable cottage, river cruises at dawn and afternoon, jungle trekking at night and day time. Monkeys forage for restaurant food.

Beautiful 5 stars resort in the jungle, wonder staff, eagle eyes guide which can sport wild life. Food is good. Comfortable beds clean bathroom.

Loved every minute of the Kinabatangan package with Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort. Warm welcome, great and passionate staff (especially Kiko and Rian, you're the best guys! ), busy schedule and numerous activities, comfortable rooms, plentiful and delicious food. Totally worth the money!

Late posting. Been here last Oct for 2D1N. Nice room, I love it especially the bathroom. Food was okay. Short cruise in the evening in mission of searching wildlife, manage to spot a lot of proboscis monkey but unfortunately its heavily rain in the evening, thank god we bring our own raincoat. Love the performance show from the local at night, then proceed for night walk and manage to spot few insects/birds. Early in the morning, ready for morning cruise. We manage to see few hornbills and other wildlife. Overall, helpful & friendly staff and may visit this place again in the future!

We loved everything in this place: 5 star customer service, accommodation, funny monkeys surrounding the place, crocodiles in the river nearby, river cruise and jungle walk.
Also, best food we tried in Malaysia: specially delivered big and fresh oysters, etc.
100% recommend this place!

We upgraded from a (very nice) dorm to a private room which was fantastic and definitely worth the little bit more money. Huge comfy beds, great AC and nice bathroom. Food was pretty good too. Great eating area looking out over the river, but watch out for mosquitoes.

Service wise is above and beyond expectation! The staffs seem very passionate about what they do and always make sure the guests are well-informed of the next program on the list. The guides on river cruise and jungle trekking are pretty knowledgeable about wildlife considering some only have couple of years experience on the job. They are keen to share the binocular to the guests so that everyone gets a chance to take a closer look at every spotted animal along the river. Perhaps the only thing to improve is their English fluency because the articulation and understanding seems poor and sometimes unclear to majority of foreigners onboard. There were occasions where questions need to be rephrased couple of times before the guide understands what was being asked.

This is the best place to experience the river and all it has to offer. Very friendly staff, nice accommodation, fabulous food and a top guide called aloi. I have no idea how he spots the animals and wildlife but he does! Go here for an experience you will never forget. It has made our honeymoon unforgettable! Thanks guys! X.

I don't do reviews, but this place was so good I thought I had to.
Great food, great people, great views you can't go wrong with this place.
And to top it all off you have the best spotter and all round great guy in Borneo, he goes by the name of Aloi.
This place is a must.
