Review of Purdy Arms 3*

I have been going to Purdy Arms for years and have always meant to post a review but I am easily distracted we really enjoy visiting Purdy's and they have always been very accommodating when it comes to catering for me as well. I am a vegan and they always cook up a storm for me. New Chef Kendi is awesome, we were there on Saturday and she presented me with so many fabulous vegan and gluten free options I was so spoilt for choice I asked her to decide on my behalf needless to say… delicious! My other meat eating half had the fully loaded burger for a change as he always goes for their renowned yummy pizzas and again he was very pleased. I have also had many of their falafels in the past and these are TOTALLY delicious accompanied by the lovely fresh salads from their own organic vegetable farm on site… so fresh and tasty! I love going on a Saturday lunchtime… it's so nice to pop into the farmers market and then over to the pub for a lovely cold beer and a catch up. Owners Rob and Jules are pretty much always there and they are actually very good people and also kind and so accommodating. I say this in a non bias way, it really is true about them both. This place has a I am not much of a night owl but on the rare occasions that we do go out for an evening party, purdy arms NEVER disappoints… always a great DJ around to keep the party going especially DJ Pandora who is excellent! For all the sports fans… this is the to go place! Say no more! In terms of service, I must say I have seen a few complaints on FB in terms of timings etc here and there but personally I have never experienced this. The waiters I find are super friendly and they also try to be so accommodating when it comes to special requests. I absolutely recommend Purdy Arms and I personally, after my experience this past Saturday, will make a point of not being such a hermit and visiting it much more!
