Fantastic service from you arriving and until checking out. The rooms are fine, the food good, the swimming pool lovely and the very best are all the staff who constantly make the little extra for us as guests to have a good time. Can't wait to come back :)

We came here right after our wedding and it was just perfect. Even before we got here, I had tremendous support from hotel staff. Shout out to Terry, Benson and Anthony. Those guys went over and above my expectation to make sure we were okay. The hotel room and view was superb. The food was world class and tantalizing. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back!

Quiet, classy, very elegant. Waiters are very helpful. Make you feel comfortable. Lovely gas fires at the Flame Tree Restaurant. Ward off the very cold July weather. Excellent food too. Well served, clean, attractive and very appetizing.

Old and clean hotel. I dont like hotels which allows outside voice to come in. Windows of balcony is not isolated. Voice from the road comes directly in. Wifi is enough fast. So kind service person. Every time they look happy and trying to help you.

The services have really improved from my last visit. I really enjoyed the food menu that is currently available and with the renovations and restoration more beautiful. I had lamb and rice which was supa.

It's a great place with some of the best conference rooms where a group or company can hold their meetings with greater peace and services. Their buffet is awesome too.

Our stay at the Sarova Panafric was fantastic. We would definitely stay again. The staff and workers were so friendly and accommodating, the food was great, the executive suite we stayed in was beautiful. The Safari they arranged for us was a wonderful experience. The flight to the game park was 45 minutes. Room 65 at the Sarova Mari Game Camp was very beautiful and comfortable. The food at the camp was absolutely great and the Safari was an exciting experience. The guides were fantastic to take us places that we saw the big 5 and so many other animals. Looking forward to doing this again.

It is a fancy hotel. It has that seventies theme with the burgundy themed colours. More to it is that, the staff are eager to attend to you and positive to that effect hence will put a smile on your face. Located at the outskirts of the cbd, it is a perfect place to relax and get away from it all. With an ample parking, a swimming pool and an all you can get bar. It is top notch. On the downside, I just feel like they could make it more modern on some parts but maintain the seventies burgundy.

Has excellent service, food and ambience. Parking is a bit limited but there’s a valet service which is can help with that. Restaurant decor is also elegant and the wait staff are really keen and pleasant. While Kenyatta Avenue heading to Valley Road, turn into the Shell petrol station where you’ll see the entrance to the hotel. It has antic shop that sells Maasai jewelry and shoes.

Located in Nairobi this hotel offers average comfort and musical entertainment every night.

Short stopover, but enjoyed my stay at the Sarova. Security on every floor was a little alarming, but better safe than sorry. Room met all my expectations as did the great breakfast to-go as I had an early flight.

Its a Sarova franchise so international standards here just to say the least. International prices too BTW. Otherwise its quite an exquisite place.

Although I wasn't a guest there, but dropping of someone, the reception rating overall was fair. The missing star will be considered when I'm an actual guest. The turn in from Valley Road heading towards town got me worried before I arrived as the road is a really busy one. Kudos to Shell and Panafric for working together on getting the turn right. Now to get the traffic lights working just well and it's sorted out. The lobby doesn't give a Western hotel feeling and crosses in just right between a traditional and upper class Kenyan vibe. Size-wise it felt quite small especially when a group of about 10+just teens came in. Had to shuffle and excuse myself while getting from one corner to another. The team had a couple of issues with their hard drive and the lady at the shop was kind enough to assist them, which is a +1 on their customer service.

Comfortable hotel in Nairobi Late night arrival after a long Flight from New York Staff is accommodating and Professional. Breakfast was not great tasted some bacon and " spat it out" yuck! Opted for fruit would stay again.

Has not lost its glam. Located very close to the CBD. Well decorated in a contemporary African style. Some areas like the lobby now look very modern. The flame tree bar still retains its retro look with dim incandescent lighting. The pool deck restaurant is great during warm nights. Their food never disappoints though the buffet offerings seem not to change. They also have great conferencing facilities. Highly recommended when in Nairobi.

Ten years down the line I can still say that Sarova Panafric has one unique strength and that goes for most Sarova properties. The food is amazing from the soups to especially the deserts. (The pastry chefs are exceptional! ). The dawa here is unlike any other dawa anywhere and you can take that to the bank. It comes brewed with the honey and ready to drink. Had some yummy chicken wings as well. Have also been here several other times for full day conferences, breakfast and dinner events. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The new remodelled bathrooms look fantastic with great lighting. Parking is available on two sides. Long stay apartments are also available. Lastly the location right at the end of Valley Road makes the hotel accessible from multiple directions. There is a superb seasoned band that plays every Friday at the Flame Tree Restaurant. The restaurant gets full which is a sign of good food, service, ambiance and location. Must visit when BN in Nairobi.

I am a frequent visitor and I have built a strong bond between me and all the staffs here… you are such a good team to associate with.

Too many hidden charges. Don't be fooled by their offers you will end up paying 5 times as much. They will charge you for even getting the names on the booking wrong. We booked a double room and when we turned up at the hotel with my girlfriend they charged us an additional $100usd because my gfs name was not in the initial booking. Initially the hotel had said there's a free shuttle to the hotel, we called them when we landed, after waiting for nearly 3hrs at the airport, they apologised and offered us a taxi to the hotel only to tell us to pay KSH2000 for the taxi when we were got to the hotel. The return shuttle was non existent either, they told us they can get us a taxi back to the airport for $30, so instead we got ourselves uber which cost us only $7. We later learned that the hotel takes a cut from the taxis they offer to their customers. Joke of a hotel they try by all means to drain everything you have from the second you land. Apart from all the craziness, the food was great, my medium rare steak was cooked to perfection, bed was comfy, room reasonable size, clean amazing shower, the staff were great, but because of the deception I would not recommend.

Spend one night recently on a short notice — an emergency. Reception guys were very accommodating and did not insist on payment as it was a bit complicated. Allowed me to check in and take my time to sort out the payments. The rooms were just the right size, clean, comfy beds. Good breakfast. Good service.

The hotel locates in a short walking distance to the city center. The guards, housekeeping, and every other member of the employees working at the hotel are very friendly. The quality of the rooms and the food are quite great. I would recommend to anyone visiting Nairobi.

Excellent service from when we arrived. We were put up in the hotel by Kenyan Airways due to delayed flight. The hotel staff made us feel relaxed and that took away some of the anger and frustration. Drinks were served to us whilst we were being allocated rooms. Everything was smooth. Allocated rooms and bags were brought up to us. Buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent. My room was amazing! A room with a view on the 5th floor.
Security is very important to the hotel, I realised. Security post at entrance, Screening booth before entry into hotel, and guards on every floor near the lifts.
I highly recommend this hotel when you find yourself in Nairobi.

Only a walking distance from Nairobi CBD, this is one place to consider for a vacation/ business stay. Warm reception, quiet environment and good food. Friendly staff too.

Reviewing Flame Tree Restaurant: best atmosphere for quiet conversation, can accommodate a meeting of friends quite comfortably. The service is fast and the hosts are very friendly. Loved the steak. Would recommend the steaks in the menu.

Was at Sarova Panafric for our staff award ceremony and boy, wasn't it amazing! Beautiful experience l had with tantalizing, mouthwatering, finger-licking food, welcoming staff, beautiful ambiance, and super organized setting! Just one tiny spot though. For our large group, l wished that either it would have been possible to open a window for ventilation to ease the stuffiness or that the AC had worked better. Keep it up, l will sure come back here for these services.

It's a good hotel by Kenyan standards. Rooms are clean and smell pleasant. It pays to have the rewards membership as you get better rooms. Though the staff are friendly service is really slow and check out in the morning took long and we had to rush to airport in the end. It's got a very nice pool and deck hood for chilling, resting, working or drinks. Food was not amazing but ok.

Was at The Flame Tree Restaurant. Everything was on fleek! The service, the food was amazeballs, the alcoholic cocktails were delicious, the staff overly polite, friendly and professional, the atmosphere and music (live band) were simply relaxing. Had a wonderful experience. Will definitely visit again.

I rented an apartment at the Panafric Hotel when I lived in Nairobi 2003. This is one of the best Hotels in all of Kenya. David Gachuru the General Manager invited me down to the restaurant one afternoon for coffee and we talked. David made me feel more then just a renter, he gave me respect as a person and we shared ideas, it was wonderful. Janye Nguatah the Front Office Manager was there whenever I needed help with important matters, and all the other staff, they all were there when I needed help, I loved that, I love that place, it is home when I'm in Nairobi, my concerns were important, my needs were important. When I stay in Nairobi, I will "NOT" stay at any other Hotel. These people have become family to me, they are loyal to me and I am loyal to them.
