The Square

Can this place be called a hotel or hotel? I doubt. Cheap hostel level. Dirty room (we personally were in 712), cockroaches running around, no flush button in the toilet. The drain in the sink does not work, everything floats like in a swamp. The water does not go away, the conditions are inhumane.
There was no time to present all this, since they came late and left early. However, upon leaving this place we were fined for a soiled towel, which, in principle, was easily removed.
My shock simply knows no bounds! The harm we caused is not even close to the inconvenience they caused us! Horrible “hostel”, I don’t recommend it to anyone!

Very convenient within walking distance of the cycle track. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Silence is important after the training process 🚴🚴🚴. Can be ordered to your room. I recommend. Well done.

Initially I booked the hotel for 5 days, as I thought everything would be fine. The trip was working. But as soon as I arrived at the hotel, there was no water in the cooler in the hallway (water is not in the room, but a shared cooler in the hallway, which in itself is strange for 4* stars), there was a dirty, wet robe lying in the closet in the room. There were no disposable bathroom amenities until I asked, and the same with slippers. Another strange minus: they don’t tuck the duvet into the duvet cover, when I asked why, they answered hotly to the clients, and if you suddenly get cold, tuck it in yourself!
So then I tried not to worry and decided to relax, and then noise began from the construction site, which was heard and interfered even with the window closed. With the window closed there is nothing to breathe in the room. The air conditioners don’t work, by the way, the windows open downwards and it’s not at all safe (since there’s just a huge hole there and I was on the 8th floor)
They also said breakfast can be ordered to the room (paid separately) three times I asked for coffee to be brought without milk (they brought it twice three in one) breakfast is poor. And the time is only from 8-10 — a very short period.
The Internet is weak — I couldn’t get through a single meeting.

Excellent hotel. Now called The Square. The staff is polite, friendly and very diligent. All requests are fulfilled in minutes. The room is clean and comfortable. Snow-white linen, towels, bathrobes. Nice interior. Clean carpets, walked barefoot in the room. Yes, there is a construction site opposite, but the noise does not bother us at all. Each room has air conditioning, and at night you can ventilate, it is quiet at night. Soundproofing of the room is 5 plus! You can't hear the construction or the neighbors. Thank you very much guys! Keep it up!

There were a couple of small problems during our stay, but the staff solved everything every time!
Any difficulties with the number or navigation around the city were politely resolved by the staff.
Now there is construction outside the window, but this is not a problem in the evening or at night. The builders observe the regime of silence.
Very soon it will be a modern area.
Ventilation/air conditioning does not work very well, but the temperature is acceptable.
In fact, it is a better price/quality ratio.
But after a while it is worth thinking about renovating an important room.

The room (the suite) was big and comfortable. The staff was very polite, very very friendly and helpful. The mattress is comfortable, the bed is huge. One minus is the construction site around the hotel, but I guess when they finish the construction the area will be beautiful, and there is not enough bars and restaurants nearby for now. The hotel has restaurant/bar.

I booked a room at The Square 6 months before the World Wrestling championships in Nut Sultan. 10 days beforehand I received an obtuse message thru Booking. Com asking me to cancel my reservation due to "technical" problems.
I contacted Booking. Com requesting help. After 4 days (! ) I was told Square was now saying they were closed for renovations.
I walked into the hotel yesterday!
What they really wanted was to cancel rooms so they could then charge more as they must have realized at that late date the Worlds were being held across the street.
Don't trust The Square to do the ethical thing.

New hotel. But 1) very weird entrance door system. 2) only one free bottle of water, at first night stay. Next day (-s) you have to buy it everytime 🤔🤔 😂😂
