Hotel Kapsula

I stay at the Kapsula Hotel. Great location. Great atmosphere, very modern, cozy capsules (rooms), very clean bathrooms and showers, free tea and coffee, great service, very friendly and welcoming.
A great sleepover if you are passing by. Fairly clean and nice.
Very comfortable bed and helpful staff.

Two lovely ladies welcomed me with conversation about random stuff. Which was refreshing.
One dodgy gal, receptionist probably not one of the two ladies. Kept following me when I was going near my bag with bunch of other bags like a hawk. What I was possibly gonna nick ten thousand tenge (10$) worth of clothes. She would have gotten on my nerves for sure if I had stayed longer than one day. Regardless I loved my stay there because of those two conversationist ladies.

Pretty weird place. There's a bunch of people just living there. I had a feeling like I was the only guest and crashing the party. Everyone was nice though, except for the fact they were yelling and talking in the room well after midnight. Not having plugs to charge the phone by the bed was big inconvenience.

Good location, right in the center, it was easy to find the hostel. There was clean water, polite and friendly girls at the reception. Maintain cleanliness. A safe place for a girl. The TV is on.
There is no ventilation in the capsule; at first it is very uncomfortable to sleep, especially on the second floor. Wifi was available, but slow. Little space with a common room.

By far the worst hotel I've ever been to. (even worse than the Georgian hotel with large spiders crawling on the walls). They couldn't find my reservation for an hour and a half. In the end, they found it, but they still didn’t move it in, and they didn’t return the money. The man at the reception is rude and scary. I believe that this is fraud, even for the first time in such a situation I wanted to contact the police, but I could not get through either to 102 or to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Astana. Then Yandex Travel told me that they would return the money (although I think it was not their fault) and they would look into the story themselves, and I decided not to involve the police. I think I’ll write to different services that deal with tourist rights. Honestly, it seems to me that the hotel should be checked for fraud and maybe forced to close. 😺

The hotel is in the very center of Astana, a good shopping center is nearby, a 3-minute walk, clean, cozy, very warm for March. I didn't book a capsule, but a double room. I arrived at half past three in the morning, arrived at the hostel at three in the morning, got into the hotel without any problems; upon check-in, a problem arose in my room, another woman was moved into my room, spent the night in a regular capsule until the morning, moved to my room in the afternoon, the administrator decided everything.
I arrived late at night, the door to the hostel was open, the administrator was sleeping. There are no complaints about the administrator's sleep; the question arose about the safety of guests whose capsules have curtains and no doors.

Great hostel! Now I will recommend him to everyone. The location is great! Why didn't I know this before? Now I'm truly happy! ☺️
The girls' room is very comfortable, there is more than enough space to sleep. Purely. The toilet is opposite. There is a shower and you can wash clothes — there is a laundry room.

Very unprofessional. One of the Indian traveler reached to hostel at 10 AM and check in time was 12 PM. So he just asked them to let him use the common waiting area for those 2hrs as the outside temperature was — 22 deg celcius and city was new to him. But hostel staff just threw him out of the hostel and asked him to come by 12 PM only. This is disgusting.

This was the worst hostel of my life! I came here from Almaty and had booked a stay here for 2 nights so I reached here at 10am as the check in time was 12pm. I requested the receptionist of this hostel to let me sit in the common area of ​​the hostel for 2 hours because Astana was completely new to me and I was traveling alone and the temperature outside was — 22 degrees.
You go to any hostel in the world, if you reach that hostel before the check-in time, then every hostel gives you permission to use the common area and washroom.
But they threw me out of the hostel and told me to come at 12 o'clock. I will never recommend this hostel to you. If you are Indian then please do not go here.

For such a price it’s a “premium” hotel and service) ) I really enjoyed it. Very clean, calm place. Toilet, shower and living-room are public and very good (new/refurbished). I chose that place because I was arriving late (3 am) and needed some place to just sleep 5 hours (by 8 am). 24/7 — That place was perfect. Despite close locations of sleeping “capsules” I didn’t hear any snore) ) ). Bedsheets are white and soft and clean. You could use also the kitchen (tea and cakes are free of charge by the way), but I didn’t have time.

Within walking distance from the most vibrant tourist locations such as Baiterek.
(Monument and observation tower), Nurzhol promenade, etc. There are also public transport stops a few meters away (city bus service is very developed, travel is inexpensive, buses run until late)
You must understand that this is a HOSTEL. And a very small hostel. It all consists of three large rooms, a common women's bedroom, a common men's bedroom, a common room with a kitchen. In the bedrooms, everyone has their own place behind the curtain (capsule), the arrangement is like on a train — a lower place and an upper place. Each guest has an individual storage box (spacious). There are also two bathrooms — men's and women's. The linen is clean, the hostel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. You need to understand that it can be noisy. Someone comes, someone leaves, someone cooks, someone rustles with their things in bags. The cost of living is very affordable. If I come back, I will choose this hostel again.

I was one hour waiting to do the Check-in, no-one was there. After 2 very drunk guys came, which were workers from the hotel. They were struggling to speak because of the alcohol and they tried to overcharged me. I even tried to get pay the correct amount but they were too drunk. A place to avoid!

Cheap shared accommodation, surprisingly comfy sleeping capsules, kitchen and other shared areas are kept mostly clean and tidy.
