We felt at home. Victoria sees everything, and guesses our questions before we ask them. She always helps you. Tatiana is a cheerful lady, who prepares simple, lovely breakfasts.

Finally sitting down here in Kyrgyzstan to write this well deserved review. I wrote one yesterday but changed my mind, because I wanted to invest more effort in it after my departure. This is the most hospitable hostel I've ever stayed. True Kazakh hospitality. I literally became instant friends with my girl and guy hosts who shared food, cake and wine with me at no cost. I had a comfortable bed and good fun with the animals. I also attended a Ramadan ceremony. I was included in activities, since I'm shy I don't usually join in but I was made to feel welcome at all times. They looked after me like I was at home. The location is easy and you don't need a map to reach the main tourist spots. Supermarket and ATM are all nearby. This is the place to stay if you visit Almaty. I am already missing it. Shame I didn't get to take a picture before I leave!
