Booked at last minute and have been wonderfully surprised. The views and food are amazing, plan to come back in a few months with my wife.

Beautiful views, peace & quiet, clean, comfortable rooms & friendly, respectful staff.

We had a good stay. Hotel was very quiet and very few rooms were occupied, so we felt a bit strange, but things ran smoothly nonetheless. Location was great for the mountain view, but not as much for getting to Petra as it’s around 7 km away and the hotel shuttle has very limited times. Sometimes we had to order taxis to go back and forth. Recommended, but plan ahead because you have this short journey back and forth.

It's 10 mins from Petra, better to ask them if they have free shuttle service from Petra to Hotel and what are the timings. Since You will be dead tired after coming back from Petra.

Food is acceptable at lunch and dinner, at breakfast they offer a wide choice very tasty.

They were renovating the rooms when we were there. Once it's done the rooms would be between a 4 & 5 star rating.

First time staying at a Mövenpick, and based on this experience, also the last. After we arrived and checked in at around 16:30, we discovered that the hotel is undergoing major renovations, which meant construction noise/dust/smells everywhere. These were very prevalent in our corridor, which meant that we could not have an afternoon nap. We also found that there were no safes in the room, nor anywhere to hang wet towels. Although it seemed like our room had recently been renovated, the building standards were shoddy at best, and some of the fixtures were poorly installed. Instead, we decided to have a drink, and were informed by reception that this would not be possible because the bar only opens at 18:30. After pointing out that this is not really how a 5-star hotel operates, there was only a shrug of the shoulders, and an indication that there would be an effort to find the barman. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I went to reception, but found it empty. I also knocked on the manager's door but there was no response. After a while more, we were eventually served by a very surly barman, although the drinks order was correct. At dinner, we were horrified to discover that some of the food was just warmed up leftovers from previous days — especially noticeable with the roast potatoes and desserts. However, some of the food was actually quite tasty, but the service was also pretty poor by some of the waiters.

Good hotel with great views. In two nights Q I've been one forgot the towels, another did not empty the tub and the cistern was stuck releasing water. The restaurant with very good quality and very good professionalism.

Disappointing hotel, with a very unfortunate attention, I recommend another hotel of the chain located opposite the entrance to the sanctuary of Petra.

He doesn't have three stars. The room is spacious but the bathroom tiny. He's been needing reform for years. The cleanliness is not very emerald and the food slack. You'll see little fresh fruit. They also don't replace the food so go early. To top it off is a long way from Petra's visiting center.

Well enough except for the water room to review as well as a makeover of the rooms.

A real horror, horrible in every way, the tourist's purgatory. Dirt, debris and dirt everywhere, the rooms seem to be taken out of American Horror story: Hotel, almost nothing works and gives even fear of plugging something, the toilet spits out the debris instead of swallowing them and there is rust to the faucet of the sink. Do not try to explore the lower aisles if you do not want to be a victim of a horde of zombies or something worse, even cats are afraid to enter. In short, if you stay in Petra better here you go to the tent of the most filthy and filthy Bedouin and you will be in the Elysée compared to this 5 star hotel in the dump of the town.

I did not enjoy my stay. Food was disgusting, and facilities were quite old. I do not understand why it is a 4 stars hotel. The only positive thing is the views. If I would be back in Petra, I would never stay here.

Top Quality, very good food!

The hotel restaurant staffs are so rude and not trained to be humble… This hotel is consider 4 or 5 star hotel… But the service is NO STAR… I think the management should educate their staffs at the restaurant to be more professional and not to act arrogance and gangster…
