We have just spent 5 leisurely days in an totally empty Petra and every thing at the hotel was perfect. Room was taken care of best of any hotel we have stayed in in years. We had breakfast and dinner which was super tasty and diff each day. The hotel is exceptionally clean with a good size elevator. They set us up with Essam a driver for day trip to Wadi Rum he spoke excellent engish was supper fun to be with and very safe. The other foreign tourists we spoke to in Petra were all the only guest in their hotels as were we some nights. Jordan is very safe and full of charming people and very calm. We are a senior canadian couple who took 6 minutes to walk too Petra entrance and a little longer to come back up hill on a safe sidewalk past lots.
Restaurants the Turkish baths and the best corner store in Wadi Musa. Highly recommend this hotel instead of a big chain for personal service.
This charming and elegant little hotel FAR EXCEEDED our expectations! The hospitality, room, bathroom, dining, location and staff were FANTASTIC! Our room was lovely and had a balcony overlooking the city on the hill, with the magnificent Petra to the right. We also enjoyed the GORGEOUS rooftop lounge / bar. Some guests walked down to Petra but we did drive the short distance because we knew there would be a lot of walking that day. The restaurant was outstanding and the prices were incredible value. There was an extensive breakfast buffet and dinner both nights were absolutely scrumptious (buffet and a la carte). On our second day we opted for their packed lunch as we were hiking Petra, and OMG there was so much lovely food :) Fresh bread rolls, fruit, water, juice and sweet treats. We were told this is a family owned & run hotel and we would like to extend a huge tank you to OSAMA & MAHOMMAD who were THE most attentive, professional, kind and overall FANTASTIC hosts. They could both teach the high end European and American hotels how to truly host with EXCELLENCE. Thank you Osama & Mahommad, we will never forget our stay at PETRA CORNER HOTEL!

Impeccable hotel in a quiet location at the bend of the main road, 5 or so minutes' walk away from the Petra Visitor Center entrance (downhill) and 10-15 minutes' walk away from central Wadi Musa (uphill). Service was reliable and generous, facilities in great condition, and some rooms come with a balcony view. At this price, hard to think of anything wrong with it.
