The room doesn’t smell good at all & it’s super dirty, and the receptionist is very rude when we told him about it he just said it’s normal! I think the room haven’t been cleaned for weeks! I don’t recommend at alllll.

The rooms were not clean (bathrooms, towels, blankets, pillows …) Service at the pool was very bad. The pools (adults and kids) were not clean. Its water was salty! Otherwise I have got skin infection from swimming in the pool!

The Crown Plaza Dead Sea Resort is an amazing resort. Comfortable and spacious rooms, family friendly, and great service. They have private beach access and amazing pool. We truly enjoyed our stay here. If you are going to the Dead Sea definitely check out this resort.

I stayed at Crowne Plaza for short vacation with my friends and our kids. The hotel rooms and facilities were very clean. Food is good and you can always find something to eat for the kids. Ver clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and you can have so many choices. They try their best to serve you well and offer all your needs. I had an health issue and accident during my last visit two weeks ago and they dealt with the case professionally and in a a very highly standards. We have enjoyed our time at the Crowne Plaza. Mr. Baha’a abu Odeh took care of us really well. He did an amazing job, and because of him, I highly recommend the Crown Plaza to everyone and anyone who wants an amazing time at the Dead Sea.

Very very bad service, the furniture in the rooms very old, all the employees they need money to give you service specially the pool staff, there is alot of the guests bad class, and I’m sure there is alot of guests they know the staff inside and they are inside for free.

1 — Bad services, we called the guest service many times but they didn’t respond to what we asked for.
2 — Bad services at all including the cafe services. I don’t recommend. I was waiting a services not a product.

One of the best locations by the Dead Sea, the view is spectacular. I loved the attention given by pool staff at kid pool. Food was excellent. Honorable mention Hisham, hands down the best at what he does. From beginning to end the staff were attentive and excellent. The resort itself is beautiful.

Me and my 2 children (ages 11 and 18) just came back from this hotel yesterday and we were so amazed by the quality of the service and the friendly and helpful staff. This was really beyond what we imagined and expected. It already started when we passed the security in the hotel. They welcomed us with a sincere laugh.
There was no queue at the check-in desk, just 1 guest before us, but still we were asked to go to the guest relations desk so we could check-in right away.
This friendly man find us a room with a sea view and gave us an early check-in because we arrived before 1 pm. He asked us at what time we are about to leave and gave us a late check-out. Both free of charge.
The room was clean, the bed was clean and slept very comfortable.
There was a variety of food when we had our breakfast. They even served the dutch ‘Gouda’ cheese what my son had noticed. My son liked the pancakes and waffles that the cook was making in front of him.
Helpful staff in the restaurant. When I wanted to get some juice again, someone of the restaurant told me he was happy to serve it, so I did not have to walk again (although it’s okay to walk because it’s a buffet).
At the beach also friendly lifeguards. One helped us getting in the dead sea. Another asked if we wanted the mud. He spoke a few words english, but tried his best to explain by showing. After he covered our bodies with mud. Later on we noticed the mud at the showers.

They need a lot to deal with the IHG members. The sales staff needs to work a lot to bring good qualities. Breakfast is basic with nothing special. Rooms needs a lot to be properly cleaned. This hotel does not know anything about room amenities… This hotel does not know anything about the IHG hospitality.

Very nice hotel, nice food in the buffet restaurant! My two complaints are: — There was only one tea bag in our room and no bath floor towel and face flannels, it took a long time and many phone calls to get what we wanted — we went for a drink in the Al gritto bar, the waiters weren’t what you’d expect from a Crown Plaza hotel!

The place is guarded with security guards. So it will be easier to enter the premises if you have a reservation instead of walking in to rent a room. The hotel is full of decoration making it beutiful. The lobby is also guarded and is amazing. The hotel itself is equipped with a huge swimming pool and you will have a private spot to the dead sea for all the residents. It has the biggest dead sea spot as claimed by the hotel receptionist.

Great hotel, beautiful beach, welcome very well. 20 JD just to bathe 40 JD for bathing and meals.

Very great hotel and wait staff! All at the highest level! There is cleanliness and order everywhere! The food is super! The pools are super! The sea is just class! By the sea guys are just good! Arrived to rest May 27 to June 10! Thank you so much to all the staff for everything!

A Lovely hotel on the shores of the Dead sea in Jordan!

Not 5 Star Hotel at all! The food is disgusting! Dinner buffet is small and food dry and over cooked. Pool food is just as disgusting and served in boxes— at a 5 Star Hotel plates, silverware and covers are used. Bedroom was a former smoking room and reeked of cigarettes, holes in bedding and curtains, no bath mats, plastic glasses in rooms as well. Beach chairs are in shambles and dirty, 2/5 pools were closed. Best part was pool staff— they are very kind and helpful. Save your money for one of the other 5star properties that truly are 5 Star.

Overall The hotel is not bad. Clean and groomed grounds, neat rooms. The Pools are from the smallest for toddlers to the deep for adults. Did not like the fact that not everywhere you can drive a buggy. We were vacationing with the baby and we were allocated on the 2nd floor. The Staff is not particularly worried about the comfort of holidaymakers.

Very good option to spend the afternoon in the Dead Sea without staying at the hotel. Not much more expensive than others and with excellent services! 50 Jordanians, includes lunch, towels, water, mud, access to the pool, changing rooms, shower.! End up being more economical because you don't pay extras. Excellent environment and attention.

Stunning place with beach on the Dead Sea.

Superb international resort hotel. Polite and professional staff, excellent cuisine, delightful large grounds. The guest rooms are generously proportioned, and the pools are sparkling. Watch out for the beautiful birds that use the hotel gardens as an oasis!

I came with my Mom and Aunt just for the day. We bough day passes for 50 JD each, which included access to basically the entire hotel, pool and beach area — — minus room access of course. I didn't realize this before but for what we paid, we probably should've just gotten a room and spent the night, it probably wouldn't have been that much for expensive. But if you only have a day, the place is still nice and 50 JD is about the norm for what you'll spend for each person. The buffet lunch was nice and had a lot of options. The pools were a bit disappointing, if you have children, it would be great because the main pool is large but is very loud and geared toward entertaining small kids. The adult pool is nice, but it's very small and was very crowded with young Jordanians drinking and smoking. We had a few drinks at the adult pool bar after we finished at the sea but with my mom and aunt with me, we wouldn't have been comfortable hanging out at the pool, that was basically a club, all day. The sea was nice. You have to walk a ways to get down there and even then there is only one small set up with a few dozen chairs. It didn't get too crowded when we were there but I did find it odd that there was lots of Sea and only one small place with chairs and a rope in the Sea designated for people to use when there was no one else around us for miles. Overall, it was a nice experience.

One of the best vacation resort in Jordan. Resort had a safe swimming (floating) arrangement in Dead Sea water. Very large fresh water swimming pools are also available. Restaurants offer excellent food with lot of variety. Staff is very courteous. Overall a great experience to stay in Crowne Plaza Resort.

I stood 2 days in this marvellous hotel. All the stuff was friendly and helpful always smiling. The room I stood had an ocean view and was super clean and beautiful. The food was fantastic, everything you can wish for. Beach was clean and they have a special mud which you can use for free and to smoothen your skin. Perfect!

Lovely room, big comfy bed. Disappointing we couldn't swim past sunset and the indoor pool was closed for refurbishment apparently. Both the Mexican and burj restaurants in the complex had good food but over-priced. Great spread for breakfast although crazy busy some days. Lots of flies around the Dead Sea area, although that's not the fault of the hotel, they could possibly do a better job of getting rid of them in the eating areas.

I love this place so much. It’s the prefect place for a weekend gateway. The rooms are so clean. The breakfast buffet is delicious. Love the pools and the pool’s bar. Also they play good music. Love their beach too.

We had a great new year's Eve. But the rooms are not warm and do not have the comfort of a 5 star.

Had best stay ever in dead Sea over past 3 years with family. Kids enjoyed shows and events, food was awesome.

Nice hotel in general. But the room (at least the one we were in! ) was not that nice and was too small. There is no free drinks with the dinner. And the kids zone needs better management and better clarification of the conditions. I called twice and was given uncertain information and when I arrived with my kids and it was empty. It should be a free service to those who have booked a room and it should have at least one staff who can observe the kids while they are there.

We stayed here for a weekend. Very relaxing, all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Great location, good facilities, fantastic views across the Dead Sea and easy beach access. Food in the buffet restaurant was very high standard, a good mix of local and international dishes with plenty of choice. Room was clean and tidy, very comfortable bed. One star deducted for the following: Facilities are good but most things are starting to look a little worn out and dated; the adults only infinity pool bar seems to be aimed at attracting drunken idiots (hotel security was called at one point late in the afternoon to break up an argument), pool bar DJ music was far too loud, too early in the day and they would not turn it down because "that is what our guests want" (maybe I'm just getting old…) ; room air con was a little noisy and intermittent; room TV too small; mistake on the final bill, it was fixed, but perhaps indicates a lack of attention to detail… All these negatives were very minor things, but they become annoying when I think about the price we paid, JD400 for 2 people 2 nights half board.

I paid 50 JD to use their private beach which included towels, water and beach chairs with umbrellas. It also included lunch which was fantastic. I used their changing rooms, lockers and showers. It included use of the swimming pools and spa facilities, the spa costs extra. A very pleasant experience and a wonderful day at the dead sea.

Very family friendly place. Beautiful architecture. Good breakfast buffet. The pools were great and clean. Could do better in terms of room maintenance and TV resolution. Also, the in room dining menu didn't have enough options for me. All in all we had a very nice stay.

Outstanding hotel with magnificent views and facilities. Customer service is outstanding. All staff were helpful and polite. Night music with Shisha was a nice relaxing end of the day. Open buffet dinner was great with large selection of tasty and delicious food. Loved my stay here.

Very bad management, bad service, normal rooms, dirty pools, dirty towels, only queen beds in rooms, normally you get into the lobby you find a crowd of people complaining, not comfortable place to swim and relax. My worst experience ever.

1-Visitors are asked to pay minimum spend before entry. 2 — parking is only valet and you may have to wait at least 15 minutes before you get your car. 3 — Distance between hotel reception and restaurants is big with no transport service to old or disabled people.

This is my second visit to Crowne Plaza — Dead Sea, and this place just keeps on impressing me with its warm welcome, and great hospitality. I’ve first visited Crowne Plaza on our company retreat last year, and the overall experience, the facilities and services provided made for an amazing retreat, it’s excellent for both formal events, and fun team activities. The Crowne Plaza is located in one of nature’s amazing wonders less than an hour away from Amman the capital, the dead sea which is the lowest point on earth’s surface or as I like to call it, the point that the sky is highest and the stars are most majestic, the small sea doesn’t have any fish and it’s water and surrounding mud are extremely rich in minerals making it a destination for visitors looking for a rejuvenating experience that will leave your skin better than ever and help cure many ailments, in the resort’s on site spa you can get the treatment that the Roman emperors crossed the world to get more than a millennium ago. When you get to the Crowne Plaza, you are welcomed by their friendly and helpful staff, the resort has several buildings, a cart drove us to our building, and we were lucky to get our room with a lovely sea view, most rooms come with a private balcony, are spacious and very well decorated, the cherry on top of the cake was a lovely welcome back note from the management, as I said the Crowne Plaza really impresses you with its hospitality.

We would like to thank the staff of the Crownplaza hotel for many reasons: Spa: Zaid, and the two Indian ladies (sorry for forgetting their names! ) who gave us professional treatments along the trip and excellent service. The location: is amazing and so spiritual. The service: is more than great and the workers in general are so kind and polite. We strongly recommend to visit the crownplaza hotel and we will come again. Thank you so much for everything, care and hospitality. No doubt it is one of the most worthy places to visit in. Great facilities but unfortunately unprofessional staff. It took me more than 1 hour to check in despite reception confirming that my room is booked, confirmed, & paid for. Another guest I know was waiting for 2:30 hours to get his room after having to travel for 20 hours. I appreciate this was a busy long weekend but I would. It recommend the hotel to anyone I was finally given a room only to realise when I reached the room that the door is broken & 3 guys were working on fixing it… Another disappointment within 90 minutes of arriving.
