Cheap Hotels in Tanabe

The Hotel feels fresh and new.
Room is cozy (small) with fresh linen and toiletries needed. Note: the reception area has accessories like toothbrush, cotton buds etc.

My wife and I were surprised by the sweet gesture during our stay. It was our honeymoon trip around Wakayama, the hotel was really a cozy, rooms were clean and spacious for Japanese standard.

Conveniently located near the train station and plenty of restaurants. It’s also a short walk to the beach and temples/shrines (Tokei, Kozanji). It’s a private room with plenty of space.

Close to the train / bus station. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Room was a decent size and well heated.

Browsing through photos taken more than 10 years ago, guesthouse owner is friendly n thoughtful. He placed two warmer under our blanket during the chilly winter weather.

This is a small but lovely and peachfull hostel. I feel like home here and Kojisan is very kind and friendly. He speak English very well and really willing to help me everything.

The toilet was interesting, and the room was really good. Highly recommend. The host was really kawaii and omoshiroi.

Nice central location, not far from the station. The room was spacious, and we heard no noise from other guests. The breakfast (both Japanese and Western) was really delicious.

Pretty basic but good value for money. The only snag I got was checking in early was difficult. Even leaving my luggage was difficult, and they do not offer to store luggage.

Owner stayed up really late for me to check in. Incredible hospitality! Great location next to the shrine and main bus station. Got some food and snacks are free. Very nice to meet new people.

Budget friendly. The private room had a squat toilet but bath is common.
No complaints for the price.
And the guy manning the reception speaks decent English.

This is an old-fashioned guesthouse. Very convenient as close to train station. The host Ken is very friendly and speaks English very well.

Typical low cost Japanese room.

This guesthouse is a great place to stay in Kii Tanabe. It’s located just next to the train station in a traditional home with comfortable beds.

First, Shu, the owner was a wonderful host. I was greeted upon arrival and had a message with instructions beforehand. His English is superb. 2 minutes from KiiTanabe JR station.
