Nice typical and in very touristy area. Rooms at the Japanese bathroom a little tight but functional.

Great location and helpful staff. Small but efficient rooms, seems very good value for a visit to this part of Tokyo.

Central location very close to Senso-ji and subway lines. I stayed in the largest room type with a family of five which was a tight fit, but that's Tokyo for you. Friendly staff and a good budget option for the area.

Japanese Traditional Hotel with communal bath house. It is clean and well maintained. The paid breakfast was great. Would love to book a room again next time.

A little late to the party (! ) but I stayed here several years ago and loved it. A traditional experience with modern amenities.

The ryokan is situated just steps from the busy shopping area of Asakusa and a few minutes from Asakusa Station as well as the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center. The staff is friendly and some pretty good English. We arrived early and checked the luggages at the lobby. By the time we came back to check in, our luggage was already in our room. The room was nice and clean and the futons and blankets were very comfortable. The room is equipped with tea sets and Japanese snacks for the guests. The slippers and Japanese style bath robes were nice touches. Guests can reserve half hour private bath on the first floor, like hot spring experience. For breakfast, one has to reserve the night before, and to choose either Japanese or western style. We had Japanese style and it was delicious, but just be extra careful picking out the bones from salmon. One the day of departure, the staff was also able to hold our luggage for us until our departure. Overall an excellent at a very convenient location!

I found the experience great, the place is very homely, I highly recommend it for a couple stay (it doesn't seem like a good choice for a family). The atmosphere and the staff very nice, there are only 2 varieties of breakfast, however very good both.
Almost 1 minutes from the Sensō-ji temple and a market with a variety of items and food.
I recommend it widely.

Very nice and helpfull staff. Great onsen. The room was really tiny though and the matressess really really thin… The neighbourhood is really awesome. So the location, staff and authenticity of this Ryokan were great, but if you want to have a good night sleep I would recommend a regular hotel ;)

Hospitality here is excellent. We wanted an extra mattress and cover for our toddler to sleep on and the set it up for us while we took a stroll around the block. We had our luggage delivered from Narita intl airport to this place. The front desk kindly took it up to our room. Clean location with a wonderful ambiance.

Traditional Inn central to visit azakuza and find a restaurant for dinner. Room was comfortable with good bathroom/WC common which makes the cramped room. The traditional breakfast is hearty and lots of taste.
