SPA Hotels in Tokyo near Nitenmon Gate

This is honestly one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan!
It’s not a luxury hotel, and there’s no fancy lobby, just a very simple reception area.

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was such a comfortable stay. The staff spoke English fluently (i think they spoke other lanaguages as well) and made us feel welcomed and comfortable.

The tatami concept of the hotel is very homely. We booked the triple room and it was spacious in Tokyo’s context. The only con is that there’s not much view from the room, but its acceptable.

I booked this hotel through Ikyu because I wanted a room larger than 25 square meters.

We loved staying here! What a special experience.

完璧! Perfect rooms and service with incredibly convenient location in Asakusa. Private bath was so clean and nice to use. As close to onsen you can get without going to a real onsen.

Loved my stay at this cozy hotel. It has everything you need and it’s in the center Asakusa (3-10 min walks from the station and tourist areas).

Tiny, efficient room. We were on the second floor, so you could see the cherry blossoms so easily, but everyone in the park can see most of your room.

Great location right next to the temple and lots of restaurants and stuff around.
Hotel onses was perfect, open 3pm to 10am including complimentary ice cream.

The hotel is strategically located near Sensoji Temple and is surrounded by many small eateries. Since breakfast is ¥2, 500 per person, we have decided to eat out instead.

My son and I had to stay here on our first night in Japan. I've never stayed in a capsule hotel so I really didn't know what to expect. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised.

I stayed here at Lightning Hotel in Asakusa (Capsule Deluxe) as a solo traveler and it was such a great experience!

Hotel was okay. Very accessible to everything. But if you are very picky this is not for you cause the room is too small it was so hard to move specially if you have big baggages.

Dormitory style. Overall like everything in here. Only some concerns, top bunk bed is kinda too high and bit uncomfortable to get on and off.
