Cheap Hotels in Tokyo near Nitenmon Gate

I've stayed at this hostel twice now, most recently I stayed here for 2 weeks and had an absolutely wonderful time!

Stayed here for three nights and can confidently say it is one of the cleanest and most well-organized hostels I have ever stayed in. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were friendly

Rooms — they allowed my daughter to stay with us. It was our choice. For its price and location this is one of the best.
Service — they will assist you no matter what.

Check in was relatively painless. Staff are polite, competent, and have a good command of spoken English. Rooms are quite small. There is a tiny bathroom with small tub, shower, and toilet.

Pro: The facilities is definitely very clean. It is one of the cleanest facilities that I have encounter.
Staff are very very friendly, helpful and accomodating.

Great place to stay — was quiet and relaxed ans everything was very clean — really good staff too.
The bunks are nice and private and pretty spacey!

Huge rooms and perfect option for group travel.
Near airport link and Asakusa temple.

Booked my last minute trip to Tokyo and I managed to book in this hotel. I think the price I paid was reasonable for the date I booked and it's quite a high season in Japan. I was travelling solo.

ART is wonderful! Excellent accommodations, down to earth vibes, super clean and comfortable. Absolutely perfect location for exploring Asakusa.

We loved the place and the location. If you want a truly Japanese experience with the basics, stay there. I would stay there again.

It’s our second trip to Japan. So, we’re happy to live in Asakusa, great location. Service and rooms were also great, common thing for Japan — small rooms. And here it was very clean.

Location is excellent. Be aware there is no area to sit in reception if you need to wait for a ride. Staff friendly enough but limited English and reception not always manned.

Super friendly staff and really cozy! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Much larger than I expected! I stayed with just myself and a friend and there was plenty of space.

The staff is super friendly and talkative and speak good English. Special mention to Kira :) with whom I talked 2-3 hours one night.

Great location and clean facility. Beds are comfy and air conditioning was good. Stayed here over new years holidays. Good for solo travellers.

My stay at Guest House Tokyo Samurai was excellent.
The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional.

Brought a group of my students here for our school trip, the staff was very accommodating and kind. The café is also great, it was a pleasure to have such a cozy and enjoyable place to do some work.

Great place to stay when visiting Tokio. We stayed in a two person room which is very neat and very clean. The shared facilities are also kept very tidy and there are enough of them.

Pros: amazing hostel! well located, quiet, close to lots of touristic sites, the staff is super nice, the facilities are great. The beds and space for each person is great.

One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were nicely conditioned, offered plenty of space for luggage, workers greeted every time you passed, rooms were cleaned daily and all surfaces

Nice little accommodation in Tokyo. The rooms are basic, but is clean and you have everything you need and staff are really attentive. The area is quiet and well communicated. Definitely recommended!

Stayed 7 nights. The location is very good and the beds are really big. A towel was included and the staff was very nice.
The closest Lawson is very cheap and it has discounts regularly after 19:00.

Walls are thin, doors are a little heavy and a little loud (unavoidably).
Ginza line around the corner was convenient.
Location is very beautiful.

Great value for the price — very safe, clean and quiet. The only issue was a musty smell in the ground floor room, likely from humidity.

I stayed at Stay Work Asakusa Tokyo for 12days and absolutely loved it. The staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly.

Ive been to this hostel on multiple occasions. When I first came to japan and in between traveling through japan when I got to tokyo again.

One of the most social hostels I’ve ever stayed at. As a solo traveler, it’s super easy to meet people and find others to do activities with.

This is your classic fun, affordable hostel with great staff. Is it the cleanest? Well, no, but that's not what folks are here for.
The staff are wonderful, fun people.

The apartment we stayed in was super clean and comfortable. For Japanese standard quite big. We had all amenities, such as an oven, stove, microwave and even a laundry machine.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights in a private twin room, and we had a great experience.

The counter staff are very polite and willing to help. They can communicate fluently in English with guests. It takes less than five minutes to walk from the hotel to Kaminari Mon.

Decent hotel but quite cramped. Cleanliness could also be improved, and some areas are a little dirty.

Nice location, located in between 2 metro station and near seven eleven.
The room is quiet.
Will definitely love to come back to this place again.
