Super Hotel Premier Ikebukuro Natural Hot Spring

The stay in this hotel was really nice. I can recommend it to anyone. I've stayed here for several days.
The location is good, just several minutes walk from Ikebukuro station. The neighboring district is a kind of entertainment / love hotels district, but the hotel is quiet and streets are safe, come on, that's Japan.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are not so small as for Japanese standard, you can open your large bag on the floor without problems.
The room code locker was a little bit pain at first, because it was hard to remember the code and I have to constantly look on the receipt. But after two or three days you'll get used to it and muscle memory helps a lot.
The public bath with onsen water is a great addition to the stay.
I have three complaints. First, elevators are getting a little crowdy during the rush hours (check-in/check-out), but they can do nothing about that.
Second, I cannot open the window, because my room was located above the smoking area. The room was located on high floor, but the smoking area is located in a kind of chimney, so cigarettes smell comes to the room. Okay, the window is frosty and not possible to fully open it, but still the smell comes to the room. Please think about relocating the smoking place.
Third, they put so much stress on ecology and naturality and sustainability, nevertheless, the cleaning staff always leaves the light turned on after cleaning and it seems that the electricity is always on in the room.

Quite small room space but really good layout so we can open 2 suitcase in the same time on the floor. Hot spring quite small but good enough to relax after long day of travel as its open 9pm to 9am (whole night). Free drink until 2 pm with lot of drink to choose. Impressive :)

I stayed here for eight nights. It was pretty good for one person. The location was very convenient, and it was a five to ten minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The facilities in the hotel were relatively new, and the attitude of the front desk staff was very good. The only thing I didn't understand was that if the room needed to be cleaned, you had to leave the room before 10:00, otherwise the room would not be cleaned that day. There was only a bag of towels hanging on the door handle. If you like night outings, this will make you feel a little different.

I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience.
The soundproofing is excellent—I couldn’t hear a single sound from outside or the corridor, which is impressive for a hotel in the busy area.
The service was warm and thoughtful from start to finish. I especially appreciated being able to choose the pillow that suited me best for a good night’s sleep.
The self-service cocktail bar was a fun and unique touch—I had a great time there.
While the room was compact (as expected), it had everything we needed and was spotless throughout the stay.
Highly recommend!

This hotel deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The facilities it provides at this price point is unmatched.
At first, I thought the name was a little bit cheesy but was extremely glad it lived up to its name. Onsen was superb, and the staff's service was premier.
Hotel only has 2 lifts available so it can be a bit crowded during peak hours but its not too bad. Location is also pretty good, estimated 5 minutes walk from JR Ikebukuro Yamanote Line.
Anyone commenting less than 5 stars is a "Choosing Beggar". You pay for what you get and with this hotel, you get more than what you pay for.
It's a perfect hotel for people who has itinerary planned and not staying in the hotel the entire day.
For smokers:
Smoking area is located at the lobby (3rd floor) and is quite spacious. The door is quite heavy because of air, almost thought it was closed lol.

Had a great stay in this hotel. Room is small but typical what you get for the range of budget in Japan.
Really nice area, walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Also nice to have your last stop at ikebukuro station as usually many small shops in the station area offering local delicacies.
The staffs we’ve met were helpful, offering us umbrella and assisting us with luggage transfer to another city.
Cleanliness in the room can be improved but overall great stay!
