Tokyo Hotels near Honryuji Temple

Very much enjoyed this hotel! Quieter area outside the city. Very close to ikebukuru station — maybe 6-7 blocks. Lawsons and 7-11 feet away.

Everything in the room was perfect! But I personally find the bed too hard and the pillows too soft.

This a JR hotel Gem that maybe not many people will choose for a first choice, but this is a very convinient hotel with many necessites nearby.

The hotel was the best one we stayed in on our 3 week trip in Japan. The location and its proximity to Mejiro station plus the local restaurants within walking distance is a game changer.

Lower end rooms are a bit small but me and my wife were able to fit in ours just fine. I would recommend booking for a bigger room if you're bringing more than 2 large luggages.

Stayed there for 4 nights, I really loved the hotel we had a triple room and its size was good, clean room and there is a family mart opened 24 hours inside the building.

It's pretty nice considering we really only sleep there. The onsen bath was really nice and hot. In fact hottest I have ever experienced. Very convenient location. Nice and clean and straight forward.

Booking two twin rooms for four nights in this hotel.
As the hotel explain there is only one twin room in on level, we had to be different level.

Recently stayed here for a week and the experience was great. Prices were great for the location and size. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Extremely friendly and helpful owners, spacious clean rooms with nice amenities, coin laundry right next door, genuinely the best place ive stayed at 10/10 would stay again.

I had initially wanted to gatekeep this place but that would be a disservice to the hotel and its staff.

Had a wonderful stay at Hisoca Hotel. The room was cosy and spacious, complete with a bathtub and mist sauna.

I had such a pleasant stay at Super Hotel Premier Ikebukuro Natural Spring and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Across the street from Ikebukuro station, with a 7-Eleven on ground floor, this is a convenient hotel to stay at in Ikebukuro. Lots of restaurants and shopping within a few blocks.

The location is good. The check in was fast. The hotel crews are professional and polite.

I stayed here 5 nights in October. My frame of reference for business hotels at this price point is APA and Tokyu Stay. Located in southeast Ikebukuro, about 7 min.

Very nice hotel that is very convenient to get to. Staff was always polite and happy to help me with any issues I had. Room was cozy and clean and exactly what I was looking for when I booked.

Pros:
• Good size for a room in Tokyo! We had plenty of space to get packed up at the end of our trip.

The whole staff has been very kind. The location is perfect, near the heart of Ikebukuro and with plenty of restaurants, konbini, and shops nearby.

The hotel bed is big enough for 2 adult, we don’t feel squeezy at all. Although the room is small but it’s comfortable and clean.

Location can be closer to the station, not suitable for many tourists I think due to that distance. (15-20 minute walk if you don't jaywalk)
Rooms; too hot but the rest is fine.

The hotel has been fully renovated last year and provided all necessary amenities including facial masks and serum for ladies. There is even a small onsen area for guests.

Great hotel with great location and staff. Very easy check-in with very friendly staff. Nice breakfast with plenty of options of both Japanese and western cuisine.

Had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located near the train station, making it super easy to get around Tokyo.

Overall had a very pleasant stay here. I booked a comfort double room so I could have an in-unit washer dryer.

The front desk and housekeepers were considerate and nice to us guests. We were a group of 3 laughing together while checking in yet they warmly welcomed us with a lot of patience and smiles.

The hotel is right in a shopping area, super convenient with lots of food options and gachapon stores around.

We had a pleasant stay at Kai's place. The place was easy to find, pristine, and accessible to local transportation and convenient stores. The neighborhood was safe and quiet.

This is a convenient and warm place, with wood or tatami smell, comfortable beds, as well as hot water. The small kitchen is so good, with all the machines in need.

Lovely quiet neighbourhood, hotel 5 min walk from Mejiro station, plenty of food options, including convenience stores, cafes, food trucks and restaurants.

Right next to Mejiro Station on the convenient JR JY Line, allowing you to go to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Shibuya easily.

Kimi Ryokan was the best of 4 different hotels that I stayed during my recent trip to Japan. This property offers amazing value.

From the moment we arrived at Kimi Ryokan, it felt like a little home-away-from-home.

Ikebukuro is a great hub: 1) It's just off the beaten path which means you can relax and not feel overwhelmed by the population density.

The room was nice with some space to move around. The kitchen was minimal but sufficient. The in room laundry was wonderful. Cloth drying racks were on the deck, so it worked perfectly.
