So lucky to have booked this hostel. True to their words, the amenities, like towel big one, large room, and all that was said in their websites. You never go hungry name it you have it even in the middle of the night. Near to transpo/tourist attractions. Really a nice & convenient place to stay. Highly recommended.

I can promise you this is one of the best hostel in Tokyo. Reasonable price, great location, cozy vibes and friendly service. I love its well organized room and toilet. The staffs are also very nice. Will be back again.

Located at the heart of Asakusa and within walking distance from Asakusa temple and 24 hours DonQ. Service is excellent and efficient, the place is clean and tidy, bathroom is not separated for male/female.

It was a great Hostel. The bunks had plenty of room, it was safe enough to leave belongings unattended, and each bunk felt completely closed off to the rest (encapsulation in wood besides the curtain). Great Wifi, very clean, and politeness was present.

Looks really nice and modern — just like the photos. The area downstairs also has an open cafe that has a decent menu. I would just say that because there are so many beds in one room, the chance of getting inconsiderate and noisy neighbours is quite high.

Bunka is fantastic. The reception area is swanky with great food and drinks, as well as great staff. The bathrooms are clean (although I wish the were more showers). The beds are comfy and each bed has plenty privacy. Would stay at again.

Very clean and well placed. Very good value for money (although it is still a capsule hotel). Possibility of drinking beers and eating, there is also a wide choice of sake.

Awesome amenities, staffs, and location. Everything were nice and neat.
Free one bath towel, room slipper for each bed, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the shower room. Free umbrellas for rainy or snowy day ;) Sheets and covers for Futon are already set. 24h open reception with friendly staffs! About 4000yen and this accommodation is super reasonable. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed.

It was a very nice hostel in a great area. The beds were enclosed and had individual lighting and power outlets. The staff was friendly, informative, and very helpful. The only issue I had was the bed area got very warm at night. I promise the next time I'm in Tokyo I'll be back at bunka.

I cannot understand the high review for this place as beds were only steel frames and wood, which is kind of too cheapskate for the price. The ceilings and pipes were covered in weird crumbled paper stuff which catches dust, it was a very bad idea. If you're allergic to dust like I am, staying here was despair. Too modern/minimalist, concrete and white everywhere. The bathroom on the 5th floor can't be used unless you stay in the 5th floor as well… or, you need to bug the receptionist every single time you want to soak in the bathtub. The lift was very small, maximum of 3 people + 3 luggage. Overall, I would definitely not recommend staying here unless the price drops to below 2500 yen. The only good thing is the location.

On a side street in osaka. Nice barrel baths. You can dress up in their samurai costumes if you want.

Amazing capsule hotel. The bed spaces were spacious and everyone was great to be quiet around each other. Toilet facilities were also good and clean, they have fresh towels everyday. They also have mix dormitory levels which is good for couples as most capsules are only either or. The location was near Asakusa’s great landmarks.

In winter, all windows are locked with poor room ventilation, the lights are always on throughout the night with no manual control of light. So, the warm air keeps being generated making the room like a sauna with lights always on. If you put the curtain of your partition on, you will definitely be suffocated by the hot air. If you keep your partition open, you will be embraced by a large amount of light. There is no fresh air and darkness for the entire stay here.

Nice location, nice facilities — clean bathroom, shower room, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi is free and fast. I highly recommend Bunka Hostel for budget travellers! ❤

Great place to stay. Perfect location, surrounded by lots of restaurants. Beds were so comfy, many showers and bathrooms. Even the 350yen breakfast was great!

Can't recommend this place enough. Very clean, great staff, fun crowd. The beds offer a lot of privacy and are very spacious. Great location near lots of restaurants and bars. Subway adjacent so is easy to get around. The price is an absolute steal for what you're getting!

Beautiful hostel. Was expecting a younger and more vibrant vibe, but really enjoying the quietness as well. If you're traveling alone, I would definitely recommend it. P. S. Their pork hot pot looks plain but is surprisingly flavorful and refreshing!

Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Fluent in English. Facilities were modern and clean. Beds were soft if a little cramped. Would definitely stay here again.

By the far the best accommodation I've stayed in abroad. Lovely restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dormitories are well kept and very comfortable. Laundry room included which helps during Japan's hot summers or when it rains and your clothes get wet. The staff are incredible; by far one of the best customer service I've experienced. When you need information for anything from directions to advise on what to see, they go out of there way to provide you detailed information to make sure you have an awesome experience during you stay in Japan. Next time I'm booking another holiday in Tokyo, I know where to stay. Thank you to the staff for your welcoming attitude and friendly customer service.

Superb hostel with friendly faces to greet you. Very modern looking and clean amenities! Comfortable beds and curtains that block out light entirely. There's also an area to chill in the lobby. Located at a convenient location in Asakusa!

Modern, clean, cheap and with all the necessary services (free Wifi, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, safe deposit box…) You can have breakfast pretty good price.

Facilities are great for those Who are staying in Tokyo. Hostel is designed contemporary modern which is stylish. Floors are accessible via elevator. Downsides of the hostel is that there is no drinking water facility, the elevator and laundry room smells so bad it was making me dizzy. Other than the hostel itself, the other guests are quite rude when it comes to the sleeping hours between 12 am and 10 pm. It even says to be quiet on the door before entering. You can hear people's phones vibrating over and over again. It makes it hard to sleep. Plus some guests do not get their laundry after it has done washing/drying and they were still on the machines after 2 hours of finishing. Some do not understand that you do not put shoes into the dryer, especially if it is suspended on a pair of brackets.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a low cost, but clean and trendy place to stay. It's a hostel so they don't have private rooms except for a family room on the top floor, but bedding and rooms are clean and people are friendly. They have a nice cafe / bar / restaurant which provide a nice food and drinks at a reasonable price. They are popular so some time fully booked in busy seasons, so if possible booking advance! (I've become quite a regular at this hostel! )

Clean and new place to stay in bunker beds style. Beds are very comfy and the toilets are clean and new. The ambience of the place is chic and cozy. Perfect for travellers who are travelling alone as you get the feeling that you're always coming home to friendly company. They also have a great lounge area which can be used freely if you are staying there. Say Hi to Ayumi at the front desk if you do go there, she's the best.

The first hostel I stayed in Japan. Staff was helpful and warm. The rooms were super clean. I didn't expect that everyday my bed was made and towel was replaced. The shared bathrooms were spotless. You would received a free tourist SIM while staying there.

A little different to what has been a hotel capsule. This is a bit more like a hostel traditional, with the curiosity of being in a small "room" that seems straight out of a catalog of Ikea. The bed was quite spacious and comfortable. The people from reception was very friendly and at all times we spoke in English, which in Japan is quite "rare", but to be grateful for.

Hostel very good located, five minutes from the metro stop of Asakusa, 20 minutes from the train station of Uneo. The hostel is new, and despite the fact that you sleep with more people you have the feeling of being alone. The service is excellent, they are super friendly and will help you in all. In addition it is open 24 hours a day, and in my case that I got at three in the morning I do not put any impediment, and as already mentioned we were treated very well. I'd give it a 9.5 out of ten. Fully recommended.

Is by far the most gorgeous hostel I've ever been to! The staff is very kind, the installations are way beyond gorgeous, the location is great (the Asakusa temple, a lot of bars, restaurants and stores nearby), the food in the hostel restaurant is great! I will deeply recommend staying here, this place's a jewel!
