The worst stay I've ever had in Japan. The tiny room was dirty (special minus bonus point for nail clippings on the floor). The beds doesn't have a shelf for putting glasses or other belongings on. There isn't even individual bed lights, it's just one incredibly bright light in the ceiling. The bathrooms were horribly dirty. In all honesty we spent as much time as possible AWAY from the premises.

It might be a little unfair of a rating because I think they were renovating? But the room was VERY tiny, but on the plus side it was our own room. I know Japanese style is tiny, but this was small even for their standards! Staff was nice though!

Staff very friendly, very clean, well appointed common areas, but the rooms are too dark (no windows in our).

Nice hostel at the heart of Shinjuku. This is the second time I come back to Tokyo and stay here. This is in Koreantown so there's lot of places to eat, and you can easily walk to Kabuki-cho. Yamanote Line is close.

This place should be shut down for uncleanliness! We found BED BUGS in our room and the people who stayed in the room next to us found some as well. We all complained to the manager and owner but they did nothing but give us all a hard time. It even escalated to the point where the manager got hostile towards one of the customers and the police had to be involved. The manager even had the nerves to lie to another customer who saw all the commotion and told him there wasn't any bed bugs but later on he found some in his room and also complained about it. While everyone was arguing with the owner I found a cockroach in the hallway and a rat in the bathroom. At the end of the day everyone left unhappy and disappointed and the owner did nothing about the problem. DO NOT STAY THERE! The owner doesn't care about the customers at all. It was my first time in Tokyo and because of this experience my trip was ruined. Im still itching thinking about it : (

Awful awful stay. The staff were incredibly rude, the rooms were tiny, there was dog poo in the showers, and there were bed bugs. After reading other reviews here it is apparent that they knew about the bed bugs already but decided to do nothing. Owner tried to fight me when I complained, police had to be called.

Very clean, good service, fast Wi-Fi, cold water and hot water included!

An OK guesthouse. There's 3 different parts in the guesthouse and one of them is where the showers/sinks/washing machines are. The bathroom is in another part with a few other showers and I think about 2-3 rooms. So you need to actually go outside. The last building is where mainly all the rooms are. Beds are very hard, I could feel the springs, so some positions were not comfortable to sleep. I know it's "normal" in Asian countries, but it was the worst bed I ever had. It's quite noisy at night and you can hear everything your neighbors say. So if they snore… you will hear it. Be careful! No kitchen to make your own food! Its location is quite good (close to train station and convenient stores) in a young and lively district with multiple restaurants (especially korean). I personally wouldn't recommend this to a friend and would not really go back there.

No working air con but there was a cooler. Rooms were a bit too small but had okay showers and some sitting area.

Good for the price and location. I paid for a women's 8 bed dorm and got bumped up to a 2 bed dorm which was nice. Seems to be a popular hostel and this means there aren't really enough showers though.

Good hostel close to kabukicho and Golden Gai. Very affordable, the bunk beds were comfortable enough. They have shared showers, toilets, and laundry. Would stay again or recommend to friends.

Clean, new, modern and we'll operated.

Lovely staff, they have an adorable dog and cat, and are very accommodating. The location is perfect, in-between downtown shinjuku and Korea town.

Tiny rooms, but nice price in nice part of Tokyo. NO luxery.

You get what you paid for. Small room.
