Stayed 3 nights in the dorm beds at Hostel Osaka. Reception is on 1st floor, rooms and dorm beds are on floors 2-5.

This hostel went beyond my expectations. Really cozy tatami bedroom with futon bed, very clean and functional. Would definitely stay here again for my next solo.

Hostel Caranashi is easily one of the most homey accommodation you can find!

It’s a cozy and warm hostel, which makes me relaxed and I recommended to my friends after first day of stay.

I think this might be the first review I have ever written, but I felt I had to. This is by far the best hostel I have stayed at in all of my travels.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. Spending time in the bar of the hostel after the day in the city was our favorite activity.

This was the first place I stayed in Japan and what a perfect welcome it was! This place is great. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a coffee shop which I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this place. The waitresses are very friendly (two beers please 😄) very beautiful traditional place, perfect for foreigners wanting to discover Osaka.

20 minute walk to Universal and even shorter walk to train station. Easy access to city.

A great spot. Good location close to a metro stop. Nice common area. Indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a family style meal at a reasonable price. Interesting people are attracted to this hostel.

Was pretty nervous for my first stay in a dorm but Takeshi and Yumi were fantastic hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse. The location was in a nice quiet area of town, but was close enough to the station. The bed was comfortable and everything was really clean.

The hostel is in a great location, right above a subway station, so super easy to get to! The reception woman I spoke with was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

Very friendly receptionist. She spoke very good english. The lobby area had a great vibe and I was able to get work done during my down time.

Its a Hostel, the shared space is enough for 5-6 people to sit at the main table and enjoy a drink/dinner. The shared spaces are clean and the rooms were clean besides the amount of dust in the room.

Nice Hostel with a good location near Namba Station. Also a really nice host. Rooms a comfy and u can also do Ure laundry there. A 7-11 and a family mart is near by.

I chose COGO tennoji as my base for 7 nights for my first international solo travel. The property is very well maintained. The staff was helpful.

I had the most wonderful experience here. Kaz, Kaz Senior and Yoko are the most kind and catering people I have met. They go far and beyond to make your experience as welcoming as possible.

As a solo traveler, it was nice to arrive at a hostel where there’s social events on in the evenings with other guests.

This has been the best experience in a hostel so far. The most fun and social hostel in Japan with their board of activities and the people you meet there.

Convenient location near Namba and nipponbashi station. Near kuromon market too. Room is spacious and clean! Easy checkin and checkout.

Check in was swift — Taiwanese receptionist assisted to check us in on our check in day. On other days the counter will be unattended.

Perfect place to stay if you're visiting Osaka for sightseeing. It's walking distance from Osaka Castle as well as transportation options.

Had an absolutely great stay here, staff were beyond friendly we were practically treated as family.

Super affordable hotel in an area that has character. Had my own room (quite small but could move around) with a small TV. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast.

Staying at IM Guest House felt like stepping into a home full of warmth, laughter, and human connection.

Nami was simply amazing. The location is very close to the stations, and there’s a market just a 4-minute walk away. The hosts were incredible—so accommodating and provided the best service.

The nearest subway to this guesthouse is Midoribashi (the bridge is literally green). It's like 30 mins from Dotonbori by subway + walk.

Place: I booked the hostel to be access a more calmer part for a good price. The green line brings you to the center quickly and 15 min walk to Osaka Castle Park.

Had a good experience with the single room. The rooms are quite small, but they’re perfect for those who just need a private space to sleep.

The room is a bit tight but clean and comfortable. The common area are cozy. The walls are quite thin, though thankfully our neighbors were respectful and quiet.

I visited this place to use the bar. It's located in a quiet residential area, close to the station. It seems like the locals take turns tending the bar.

I was in the neighborhood and checked out this place. The cafe had some delicious items. I had the flan with a lemon tea! A cool chill vibe with lots of tourist staying in the hostel above.

On the 4th floor. Clean spacious. The bathroom had 2 showers so use it when ya can!
Staff was helpful in holding on to my bags before and after check out.

Perfect location I couldn’t recommend more! Communal eating area with plenty of seating, and is a cafe/ restaurant in the day too!
