Spacious room with a private bath on the balcony. You can book a private onsen for a small fee. The food is really nice as well. Totally recommand for a few nights.

Very spacious, clean and tidy rooms, we had a private outdoor bath and shower, both dinner and breakfast was included and a very Japanese experience. You can get traditional Japanese gowns to wear around to your meals and private bath times.

No food within the complex, but spacious and authentic Japanese style room, with onsen bath. View is great and free ice cream! It will be prudent to bring food up to for cooking or eating before checking in.

It is located near Naka-gora, just a 4-minute walk. So as long as you find the way to Naka-gora, this hotel is very accessible. The room was spacious and clean, with complete amenities. There were free-to-take ice candies at the reception. Service is okay. There is no eating place nearby.

Stayed here while we explored Owakudani and other attractions around Gora. The staff was wonderful and the reserved outdoor bath as well as the room's outdoor bath were a treat. Minus one star because our room looked dingy with the worn down tatami mats and the food was only decent for what we paid.

Amazing experience spent here with my s/o. It was a source of great memories. Outdoor bath was amazing and private. We also had our own private bath inside that was nice too. Food was great and bed was comfy.

The location was good with a short walk to the cable car and to the closest shop. They could offer a bit more in the room like coffee and sugar for example and they need some staff that can speak basic English.

The hotel is very nice but a bit out of the way. It's not too bad when you can take the cable car but that stops pretty early. Also there is a smoking area near the lobby so the lobby smells like smoke and a couple area near there but the room and bath area had no smoke smell. The breakfast is pretty good so I definitely recommend adding it on especially since there is nowhere close to get food nor a convenient store nearby.

A surprisingly well thought out facilities for 'gaijin' tourist's needs with a modest price located conveniently to the ferry.

Onsen is very small. Food is soso. Location is 8 minutes walking from next to Naka Gora station.

I had a really wonderful time here, one of the most special experiences in Japan! The food is unlike anything else I've had, and the onsen was amazing! There was free coffee and a free chocolate fountain! A problem I had was that they ignored an email about something I left behind, possibly because it was in English? Overall though it was amazing!

Good price for the room compared to other rooms/hotel I have been to. Also, they have Nice room but onsen/hot spa room is quite small and the water temperature was not hot enough. Overall, I would still recommend it.

Very near to naka gora station by walking about 5 minutes. Free ice-cream during your stay but no food or restaurent here, anyway you can find from surrouding area or noodles vending machine (prepare your coins). Traditional japanese style bedroom and quite big. The price maybe a bit high. Hotel provide public onsen bathroom.

The room is large enough, there is no, free popsicle, elevator slightly small, the traffic day is convenient to cable car, after eight o'clock no cable car after the passage, by walking will spend a lot of time, summed up is a cost-effective hotel.

No restaurant in a town that close very early. Also, was pointed to the Yutorelo-an hotel for restaurant, but got turned away because they are different hotels. Lastly, the bath house is slightly disappointing.

The cable car station near the mountain, although there are a large range of steep slopes … The hotel room is large enough, and has a good quality bathrobe, balcony scenery is also very good, kitchenette has a microwave oven, refrigerator, resource recycling bucket, the first floor can be ruined and also provide free and delicious popsicle, is a suitable for many people stay in the hotel.
Disadvantages have two: one is not a place to eat nearby, first bought to the hotel, but there is a climbing cable car so good, unless it is temporary to eat late-night snack wwww; second, the room put mattress quilt cabinet dust A lot of, a fellow friend immediately nasal congestion eyes swollen, but the other five people are all right.

Beautiful spacious, traditional room. Clean onsen. Just note there is quite a steep climb to the hotel.

Traditional place, but a little scruffy. Little functional (toilet without sink, which instead is in another corner of the room). No shower (but there is the common onsen)

Quite expensive but very authentic typical Japanese Ryokan hotel. Spacious rooms with own bathrooms (either with shower and tub on the balcony or small airplane-style). Very friendly service, nice private Onsen bathing experience and great dinner included. The garden and surrounding is beautiful and it's easy to access via bus and mountain train.

Location, if you like walking. Service and room are so so. Manner of stayer is terrible.

Super excellent cuisine, Kawakami chef is young talented but one of best Japanese cuisine chefs in japan. He is like 2, 3 star michellan chef, guaranteed! And inexpensive! Good room and location. Tranquil stay.

The hotel is a bit old, but clean. Dinner is pretty expensive (starts from 4000 yen per person). In general very positive experience. Nice and almost empty onsen.

Amazing all the facilities that they have and beautiful place.

Nice clean, a bit oldish place, stayed there for two nights. The private onsen is very expensive, hotel restraint is open only on Sundays, the public bath is nice though. They have a shuttle to the train station several times a day, and pickups. No fitting suites or slippers for people higher then 180 cm.

I would give 4 stars since it was clean, nice, cheap comparatively but we were told that the family bath is ok on the phone and it was full when we arrived. The receptionist said the phone you called is the call center and they can't see if it is full or not. I don't think that this should be paid by customers. They should have better system or not to promise to make us book the hotel. We arrived there at around 8 pm and it was hard to change the hotel. They opened the family bath at 00:30 am and another one in the morning to fixed the problem.

Nice traditional Japanese style rooms and public onsen.

Stayed for one night, not fancy but good value compared to other places in the area.
