Staff were very polite and provided an excellent service. Japanese restaurant was top notch with delicious food. Rooms were very spacious for a Japanese hotel but the bathrooms are tiny (not really a problem considering you can use the Onsen). It's quite close to a cable car stop but is still up quite a steep hill. If you have difficulty walking then I'd suggest getting a hotel shuttle from Gora train station. I think this hotel is mainly geared towards Japanese customers so don't come here if you're expecting western food.

Great spa hotel. Use the hot spring, it's included in your stay. Comes with breakfast. Breakfast buffet was good, the best breakfast buffet. Rooms were big and comfortable, and clean. Hated the pre-fab bathroom, but it does t job. They provided Yakuta for normal wear.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic service, good food. Would like to rate the onsen however I am tattooed so was not able to go in despite being gaijen. Breakfast is a fantastic spread.

Nice hotel with decent sized rooms and bathrooms. Has a public onsen available, arcade games, vending machines with beer in them and kids room on the basement floor. Breakfast buffet has a food range of food with friendly staff for any questions you might have. Very convenient location next to the Gora cable car line which makes it easy to get around Hakone and Fuji.

Hot springs, great hotel. It has a night bar for drinks as it is a bit secluded.

The resort is nicely run and staff very polite. It's very easy to find the hotel as it's right off the cable car. The onsen bath house was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was included with our stay and was traditional Japanese breakfast.

A beautiful hotel, a warm welcome, the room spacious and clean, bathroom is great. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The spa is good and extra charge, you can have a great massage. My only regret is that we couldn't have dinner even once, because we did not understand well how to book.
It is in a nice location, lots of nature around and tranquility. The cable car stop is 200 meters away and you can go visit mount Hakone and the Lake Ashi, which are nicer places to see, or get off at Gora for a walk.

The location is in the middle of Gora, the only way to get there from the station is by the rope-way. Please ensure you arrive before it closes (around 17-18h or so), otherwise you will be forced to walk up the mountain with your luggage (Taxis are quite rare, and the hotel does not offer shuttle services at that time). The hotel is ok, with a bar and a restaurant. Breakfast is ok-ish, buffet style, which might be a highlight for locals, but is not so amazing for westerns-view. The staff was not so helpful and many of them found it difficult to speak english. The hotel includes also a small onsen (one outdoor pool, two indoor, sauna and cold water), which is open until late (23:00).

Included buffet breakfast is awesome: japanese and western options available together. Facilities are very modern (not traditional) and suitable for families as they have a kids playroom. Shuttle service to Gora Station is necessary as it is quite steep to the hotel entrance. Staff are all friendly and hospitable. Great!

A little confusing going from the rooms to the lobby but very quiet hotel, nice, clean and attentive, with some hot springs are very nice, and since you'll dress in kimono.
