Shikoku Hotels

We stayed there in late March while cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The place is superb, very comfortable, clean and the owner extremely helpful, polite and kind.

Leo is a lovely host. Torao, the cat, is so lovely. Beautiful safe place with laundry and clean baths. So grateful for finding this spot.

This hotel is very well located and the staff are very accommodating! The rooms are a nice size and well equipped.

Top-notch service, best hotel service in Kochi thus far. The location is convenient as it gets as it is in the middle of Obiyamachi. Despite location it is very quiet.

The Jyoseikan is conveniently located quite close to Kochi Castle & Hirome Market. The city has an efficient bus system and taxis are widely available.

Great value for the price, but sometimes it just feels like things are bare minimum. Location is convenient next to the station and parking is affordable.

Great business hotel close to the train station in Kochi. Surprisingly nice rooms. Free bottle of water any day you choose not to use cleaning services. Friendly service.

We checked in at JR Clement Inn Takamatsu earlier today as our 13th hotel on this journey. Its location right in front of Takamatsu Station makes travelling around the city incredibly easy.

Location is great. Rooms are pretty nice — standard size and price in Shikoku. But they are more generous than other places I have stayed.

A wonderful place with a homely feel. Wonderful, helpful and friendly host who received us extremely warmly.

Doing the Shikoku88 this was a great place to rest. Host is very helpful and speaks fluently English. He will help you if possible at all.

All the staff are so friendly and so helpful, the whole place is beautifully clean and the beds really comfy. I really need 6 stars for those points.

Clean, comfortable, roomy spaces that are well designed. Good location with a nice breakfast that is a combination of local and western specialties that make it a nice start to the days.

Private beach, you can expect to wake up to the sound of the sea. The food at the pension is locally sourced and feel really fresh.

Search no further! Secluded bay, excellent service, every meal is home-made, including bread, ice-cream, cheese cake etc. I am only scratching the surface here.

A good hostel. Nothing terrible stands out about it but nothing that really makes it stand out either. Didn’t really seem to foster a social environment.

This is the heart of the city.
It stands out and is the first thing you see of Imabari coming from the Shiminami Kaido.

We stayed here as part of a tour group for one night.
The room was a nice size for Japan, the shower was excellent.
The WiFI was reliable. The hotel has a nice bar on a higher floor.

This hotel is in a great location, especially to the train station and shops. The concierge gave a professional and friendly welcome.

Good little hotel if you want to be close to shops and restaurants, it's a short walk to the station and gardens. There are also a few rental places for cars a few km away.

Many restaurants around you. McDonald’s is opposite the hotel. The convenient store is behind the hotel. The Main shopping street is only crossing the road.

This hotel was beyond my expectations. The view of the bridge from the lobby is spectacular.

There’s private toilet within the room. From the room you get a million dollar view of the bridge, the currents and sunrise.

Place good. Onsen near. Shopping street near. Host awesome. Bed creaky. Get your stuff done downstairs before go bed.

Stayed 2N. The property is locate next to the Dogo Onsen (Japan's oldest onsen) which is undergoing renovations. The hotel is equally old and is designed in a very elegant way.

First 5 star of our tour. We arrived to be told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a better room. Wow, what an upgrade. We were given the biggest room on the floor.
