Doing the Shikoku88 this was a great place to rest. Host is very helpful and speaks fluently English. He will help you if possible at all.

Now I have completed my Henro and have the energy to do some review.

Another great hostel in Japan! In one of the historic neighborhoods of Uchiko, it triples as a shop and restaurant/bar.

Very cute and stylish Hostel, with very friendly staff and comfortable common area.

Loved this refurbished Japanese inn. Do your research; if you don’t like minshuku style accommodation then this isn’t the place for you.

Amazing one night stay at Kochi no ya hostel in Aki.
The place itself is an historic building that has been beautifully preserved, previously home to a silk factory a long time ago.

Needing a break on the Henro trail, I stopped in Hiwasa and, thrilled by the place, ended up adding additional nights to my stay.

The owners rock. The space is beautiful and fun, and it's very well kept. If you're doing the pilgrimage or happen to be in this area of Shikoku, I cannot recommend it enough. No ichi no life.

May not be the best located Henro house but everything was perfect for my stay there.

The place looks weird from outside, it sits on a major street, but inside is modern, clean and quiet. It’s been full remodeled, very pleasant stay with all the amenities which you shared by genders.

Great stay at Hotel Eco Dogo. Unfortunately it was full so we had to swap rooms halfway, doing a mix of dorm beds and private Japanese style room.

Very comfortable, but the private toilet, is outside the room. All the rest is great, especially the size of the room.

Location was very close to the ferry station and the I love you onsen and a few restaurants and bars.

Dormitory is a bit of a misnomer as the configuration means you have your own room. The owner/host was charming, friendly, professional and helped suggest a place for supper (Ci.

Very cheap with just 2800 yen per night. All service including payment are self-service, so well-prepared for the exact amount before entering the guesthouse. Mattress are comfortable.

I stayed with Harimayabashi Guesthouse for 3 nights, it was a good experience. The place is just like somebody's home with kitchen and common room.

Had 2 nights stay in EN hostel in the private 2 bed bunk room. I had the pleasure of having the room to myself as there was no one else checking into this room.

The staff are beautiful and friendly. She sent a meg for me to remind the closing time is 8 pm. The room are large and clean. There are two washing machine and two every layer although I haven’t use.

Amazing place! Tucked away in a great area. Has some of the best amenities I experienced in my trip to Japan. It’s also super clean and well setup with a great laundry and nice common areas.

Love this co-working space. 1400 yen for five hours in a small meeting room is great value. Staff are wonderfully friendly. It’s a shame I’m moving on, I want to go back.

100% recommend staying here. It is such a cute place and has everything you need. Perfect location near temple 87 and with a convenience store very close.
