Very peaceful and nice hotel. Not accessible without a car. Breakfast and Dinner were great.

Hands down — the BEST hotel we have ever booked. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

It’s a very nice and intimate place to stay a couple of nights in.
Once we drove our car into their car park, their staff came out to direct us and help with the luggages.

It's not often you get to give a hotel 5-stars — mostly you can find one or two tiny flaws that deduct half a star. Not so for Otaru Furukawa.

This is a small but luxurious Art Deco-style hotel right in central Otaru, within easy walking distance to most of the major sights.

We’ve stayed at Unwind hotel for 4 nights. The room size 15sqm and smaller double bed were too small for us (we both are 170-175 cm).

Hotel are old, they spend lots effort for every tourist feel comfortable. This is good.

As a Dormy Inn Premium, the food was excellent. Breakfast had a good spread of fresh sashimi and other traditional japanese options.

GRIDS PREMIUM Hotel Otaru is a cozy boutique hotel conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Otaru Station and within walking distance of the Otaru Canal.

Duplex room is quite spacious for packing stuffs and the upper floor is not crowded too (won't bump your head).

Super nice Rooms. Just the esentials. All you need! Fridge, waterboiler, microwave enought to make breakfast. I will come again!

Absolutely loved my stay at Sho inn! I attended for this year’s Snow Festival in Sapporo, and it did not disappoint. Management is excellent as well. Will be returning again!

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Nord Otaru. The location is quite close to Otaru Station (about a 10–15 minute walk), and the hotel is right next to the canal.

I recently stayed at Hotel Nord Otaru and had a delightful experience.

This is a great little inn in Otaru. We had a short stay here, but would be comfortable staying longer. Rooms were very clean, new and spacious with lots of room for our bags.

Spacious room, w dedicated storage for hanging coats, storing luggage.
Bathroom & amenities are great.
The receptionist also helpful & we could check-in conveniently.

Great location to the canal and restaurants. Pick up got Kiroro Ski Resort was just around the corner which was the main reason why we stayed here.
3 stars to the room just due to the smell.

Nice hotel with good location closed to the canal and walking distance to Sakaimachi shopping street. There’s a paid parking ¥1500 per night at the hotel premises.

We stayed in a room with a queen bed as a couple.
The bed practically took over the entire room.

So many good things to say. When arriving at the building at looking at the facade. You think you should not have booked there.

Good value and spacious room for 1 person. But the window is super small with no view. I have no problem check in but it doesn’t have free parking. You have to park next door cost 800 a night.

Price is good — competitive with other hotels in the area.
Staff is very polite and nice.
THE SPA IS AMAZING.
Decor is a little dated. But that's understandable.

This hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from the station. It's also around 5-10 minutes walk to Otaru canal. It's in between 2 walking street. The location is very good.

Best local wine and cheese. Thanks for the real good time.

This is hands down the best cafe/bar in otaru. Convenient location, 5 minute walk from the train station and the ocean port. Great selection of beer, win and spirits.

It was nice that it had an ocean view near the beach and that you could also choose breakfast. This hotel is a converted love hotel, so it would be good for couples.

The ocean view when I woke up in the morning was amazing in a reasonably priced room.
The room was clean and the bathroom was clean, so I had a wonderful stay ^_^
I would like to use it again!

Been staying here for a week, only seen the raising sun this morning. No worries. We're coming back here after roaming around. Nice place.

It was autumn in the end of October.
Fabulous building. Fantastic lighting. Excellent amenities such as; microwave, pans, stove, kettle, washing machine, TV, hot water, fanity mirror.

What a fantastic concept. Didn’t really know what to expect as the rooms are container trailers (new).

Firstly the location is very convenient you have a grocery store and a 7 eleven super close that gives you a variety of things to eat around the hotel.

Thank God for this hotel. We had booked at the Hotel Nord Otaru based on the good reviews we read on line and were horrified at what we found. The hotel was old, dirty and smelt disgusting.

WWE stayed for three nights. The service was excellent.
Starting with the parking, I chose the stacked indoor parking as it allowed multiple ins and outs compared to the flat-rate outdoor parking.

Very nice location.
Very clean hotel with free coffee and tea at the entrance (to make in the room) we came with 2 kids. So we took the big room and no regret.

The room was spacious with thoughtful interior design.

We had a fantastic stay at the Omo5 Honshino Otaru, as a base for skiing and sightseeing rather than Sapporo. Otaru is close to 4-5 ski resorts. The hotel staff were lovely and professional.

Room: good window view, clean.
Facilities: they have very good view for outdoor hot spring (female), water temperature is hot enough, stone design and almost can touch the snow.

Friendly owner, cute cats, old style traditional room with futons, shared bathroom, location only for visitors who are driving, free parking.

The place is about 5min walk from Otaru station. Room is spacious. Gotta climb up a steep and narrow stairway to reach room on third floor.

I recently stayed at the Kaihourou Hotel in Otaru and had a wonderful experience.

The staff here is very nice.

This is the best backpacker hostel I have ever been so far. Simply put, it feels like behind at home rather than in a hostel. I just loved that place! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Its the whole atmosphere for me. I rarely write reviews but this homestay is something I cant forget.

Fun and different accomodation in the heart of otaru. Short distance to the tourist strips and canals while being in a quite street with easy parking next door.

Just here to grab a beer, and it was a very cozy establishment, good vibes, and good beer! They have a selection on tap, and some cans and bottles in a fridge.
