Loved it. The parking was easy to access and the attendants were always SO nice. They even spoke a bit of English whenever we couldn't understand them. The hotel was seemingly average, but it had things like a sauna (though I didn't visit), complimentary ramen (though it was only available during select hours, so I didn't try it), free water bottles and soft pajamas that I thought made it a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Otaru. My only complaint would be that the music in the hallways is a bit too loud and could be heard in the rooms. But there was a Mister Donut right outside, so that complaint is definitely overshadowed by my love for this hotel.

Overall CP super high, soak up a large bath to bottle of ice milk, evening tea ramen plus rich breakfast, down to Otaru must come to stay another night!

Breakfast and hot springs at this hotel add a lot of color to Otaru's trip, and the JR station is just diagonally behind the station, which is quite convenient for travelers with large suitcases.

Room size is better than other Japanese hotel. Nice onsen.

This accommodation is good, there are hot springs, rooms are wide, there are free ramen noodles before 11 o'clock in the evening, nearby Triangle market has seafood to eat, the hotel is in front of Otaru station.

Just opposite the station, there is a limited free soba (2018/4) in the evening and a hot spring. Next to Nagasaki House B1 supermarket, 1F can eat outside food and trash can throw rubbish.

Very close to the station with nice hot spring, and they provide free ramen for late dinner which taste good.

I support the previous comments about the staff’s attitude. Very poor, as you expect Japanese customer service to be excellent. The quality of customer service was appalling. There was no greeting whatsoever when we walked in, no acknowledgement. I overheard one male staff member communicating to a foreign couple, however using one word questions like “Name. ” “Room number”. This was shocking to me. He had a sour face and couldn’t even string a full sentence together to talk to a guest respectfully. Also we reserved a room for 3 people. There were only 2 beds and when we asked about the third bed they told us we had to make it ourselves. We asked if they could help us as we were paying quite a big sum per night and we were not told about having to make our own bed, and the staff member scowled at us and said it was a hotel rule that they “can’t make our beds”. The breakfast was really good and so was the onsen (bath). But for the price I wouldn’t stay here again.

I strongly recommend this hotel! Just opposite Otaru Station, it is very convenient to take the sightseeing bus or Jr. Complimentary coffee is provided upon check-in, and if you need to check in before or after check out, the service staff will be happy to assist you. The hotel facilities and services explained very clearly, let people at a glance. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

The 2 floor is a restaurant with a large bathhouse, large bathhouse has indoor and outdoor each 2 pool, steam bath with rock bath, the environment clean and comfortable, hair dryer is large branch of the air volume is big, girls hair volume can easily blow dry hair, bubble finish soup unexpectedly also have free supper, everyone has a bowl of half people's ramen can eat, the broth good drink noodles very q, the whole is praise. In Japan, the room is really big!
The point is that the snack noodles eat to the full hot spring is also very good (very not accustomed to all naked bubble finish and have more than a lot of milk can choose a location very well! ) The station is out front, facing the left side of the road.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. The lady who checked us in was impolite and very unhelpful. I even greeted her as she ignored me while I stood at the counter. The rooms are really small and are smaller than they look in pictures. The pillows were very hard as well. Staff do not help carry luggage to your room and we struggled to fit the luggage into the lift as the lifts were tiny. We tried wearing their "yukata" which actually looked more like a uniform and I felt it was not washed properly as my skin started itching after I wore it. The onsen was terrible as there was a very strong chlorine smell. It was also quite dirty and there was hair all over the floor. Unfortunately, there were many guests in the tiny onsen and most of the guests came in tour groups. They were very inconsiderate and talked and laughed really loudly. I felt very uncomfortable. The dressing room at the onsen area was overcrowded and I had to queue to get a seat and use the hairdryers. There was also a lot of hair on the floor. Lastly, parking and retrieving the car at the carpark was a hassle as we had to wait for a long time for them to retrieve the car. They used a car lift and they took around 15-20mins each time. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed.

The location is perfect, just opposite of Otaru station. A decent hotel with affordable price. The only shortcoming about this hotel is the attitude of the hotel employee. I was in a shocked as most of the Japanese are very polite.

Very good value for money. It's near to the station and there are eating places around, some will even open all night. Breakfast is nice and you have a lot of varieties to choose from including crab meat and salmon roe. Public onsen is available and they still serve free ramen at night, the only complaint is really there are too many people now… you have to wait for seats during the peak night ramen time.

It's very difficult for this hotel not to give a five-star. Location of hotel is very good to travel. It is very close to the otaru station. Staff was nice, and they kept my bags for travel. Outdoor hot spring was also very good, even though it is very tiny. The room was very silence and tidy. Especially, the breakfast was really great. What a Fresh seafood!

Good location 5 min workings to unga area. Well maintenanced spa. Especially breakfast was good. All-can-eat kind. IKURA, salmon sashimi, kani domburi was tasty!

3 star price come with 5 star services and facilities. Among the modern style hotel in Japan (not including ryokan style) this hotel is the best. Clean, large, and well prepared room, large public bath tub (5 pools+sauna) with well decoration. I will definitely come back to this hotel again with out checking others.

Conveniently located across the street from the train station. Bus terminal is located in the train station so catching the bus is easy. Rooms are small but nicely done. There is a large onsen or spa bath that is pretty good for the price. Staff is great and helps you find places in town.

Very quite room and comfortable bed. There are also capsule room to experience. Hot spring bath is big enough and relaxing. Free ramen is available per person per night. Very convenient location as well.

Exemplary service — staff were efficient, accommodating and very polite. The room was superb, the bed very comfortable, and it was spacious and well appointed, with thoughtful little extras like bottles of mineral water and a nice selection of herbal teas in addition to the usual complimentary coffee and green tea. The Onsen was also excellent, and open all night so even though we checked in after midnight, we were still able to enjoy the lovely baths. Lost one star simply because parking isn't free for overnight guests like it is in most hotels… Otherwise a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if ever the need arose.

The cosy hotel. Convenient location, impeccable, as always (in Japan) staff. A very good Breakfast. And the main highlight — the onsens in the hotel. A very powerful thing — it helps to rest and keep warm in the cold. 3 minutes from Otaru station, within walking distance of shops and attractions. Visited after 5 years, had nothing but good experiences.

The hotel is just 1 minute from the Otaru Station. Onsen is decorated with many lamps and bulbs. The hotel also provides free ramen at night. I had comfortable stay in this hotel.

Room is little bit tiny but clean without any smell. The location is so perfect, Letao is 1F and donquihote is just opposite. Complementary coffee, ramen and onsen!
