➜ We really enjoyed this place. Just arrived at the ferry station as we asked our way to this ryokan and very nice surprise, we were asked to wait a bit because a vehicle would take us there. The driver has the joy of living and is really very appreciable. We had a small sign at the entrance with our name welcoming us. The boss looks a little grumpy but it passes easily. The service is impeccable. While we were enjoying our private bath outside, our futons were prepared. The breakfast is typical and plentiful (good to love the local food too). In short a great stay on a great island.
The staff was amazing and so accommodating! Made huge efforts to help two clueless Australians understand what was going on and were super patient with us. The view from our room was spectacular as we were able to watch snow fall as the sun rose over the great tori gate. If I could give a higher review I would!
