Hotels in Volterra with Breakfast

This off-the-beaten-path hotel is filled with nostalgic European charm. We wouldn’t recommend walking up to town, the road is too narrow. Better to drive.

I visited hotel Villa Rioddi in October of 2024. I stayed on my own for one week and it was an absolute dream. The staff were so hospitable and felt almost like family.

Is a great place to stay in Volterra. In the middle of the city, everything is near — coffee shop, restaurants.

We rarely say this, but this hotel is just perfect in every way. The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal. The rooms are comfy and well equipped.

Excellent hotel in every way, run by an extremely friendly and obliging gentleman who is as efficient as he is kind.

Great location near shopping, restaurants, the Etruscan Arch, and the La Dogana parking garage. Attractively decorated.

Located just within the walls, La Locanda was the perfect location for exploring Volterra. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. There is convenient parking close to the hotel.

Marcampo has the best farm lands views of Tuscany. Excellent wines, Warm service.

Like all things, there are pros and cons, but honestly the cons are really irrelevant.

Excellent for cyclists with road bikes because it is close to the asphalt road that leads up to Volterra. A few kilometers also from San Gimignano. A true paradise.

A fantastic hotel a bit further from the old town but within walking distance without having to drive into the center of Volterra.

Last August, I stayed at this hotel with my wife. It's a beautiful hotel in the center of Volterra, in the old town, just outside the city walls.

Very well located in Volterra — a short walk to the centre, on a fairly quiet one-way street. Our room overlooked the pool, and it was very peaceful at night.

The hotel itself is very old fashioned and I get that from other reviews, but it isn't so bad as other reviews make it out to be. Rooms are clean and we slept well.

I stayed here a long time ago in 2007 and it looks like the prices have barely increased! It was fantastic! The rooms are very basic but do the job, it’s clean.

Really really cute accomodation, it was once a nun monastery. The cloister is a nice spot to chill.

Excellent welcome very kind owners located in the middle of the countryside absolute tranquility and eat and drink excellent without neglecting its oil made in the mill opposite.

We had a great 4 night stay here and used it as our base to explore Tuscany. The eggs for breakfast were my husbands favourite and the views are stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is a working farm. There are working dogs and there are signs about that. But it was a quiet and restful stay.

Lovely small family run B&B a short walk from the centre of Volterra.

This was a very comfortable room in a good location, an easy walk up to the old town.

It is such a beautiful House, excellent service, vegan breakfast…. As meat eater we were skeptical but you have such an assortment of breads and spreads and fruit that you miss nothing else.

We stayed here for three nights.
