Great location, walking distance to all main tourist locations and Santa Maria Novella station. Clean and well kept rooms and bath.

Small bed and breakfast located on the third floor of a small building in a great location, only a block from the market, train station, many restaurants, bakeries, gift shops, tourist attractions. Kind and generous owner/operator keeps the place clean. Rooms are not large, but have nice amenities, small fridge, special windows that greatly reduce street noise. Elevator is tiny, but that's expected and only necessary for luggage.

After reading all the reviews my expectations were pretty low, but I was quite surprised by discovering that the room was really nice and clean. It had air-conditioning which is a plus during summer, the bed was ok and the bathroom did have curtains (I read in a review that it didnt). Actually the shower was really good. (We stayed in the room 101) For breakfast we had to pay 4, 5 each and I recommend it. The buffet doesn't have many options, but still is good value for money.

I don't understand the negative reviews. It is a 4 star hotel so some quality is expected, yes, but it is also incredibly cheap for its location. The help desk staff are all very polite and helpful. They recommended places to eat, and fulfilled our requests for taxis/reservations. The rooms are kept very clean. The bathrooms are nice and work well. The beds are good. We had a lovely view of the river and the town as we were on the 6th floor which also has a large balcony area.

Good value for money.
Obviously, the carpet on the floor, the proximity of the avenue and the approximate soundproofing are little engaging… But only half an hour walk from the city center for a very decent price, a large room with bathroom and free parking, the balance is positive!

Really amazing place, from the staff, to the welcome. Structure that goes beyond expectations, with particular attention to detail. Room well cleaned and very cozy, with the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. A gem that I could not give up, the hot tub inside the room, a show!
The breakfast is super abundant with a varied choice.
It was a wonderful stay, of course I will return!

Hotel in great location, courteous staff, great breakfast, clean, comfortable and spacious room. For me a point of reference in my future stays in Florence… highly recommended.

The hotel is in a fairly central location from which you can walk to the most important monuments of Florence. The street in which it is located is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has just been renovated. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. Definitely.

My mother and I stayed for a 3-night city trip in April. And we return home with nothing but good memories.
First off, the location is ideal. The B&B is located at only one street from the Duomo, only two blocks from the San Lorenzo, and as Florence is not a large city, it takes you less than 15 minutes to reach the Ponte Vecchio.
The reception was very friendly, and the host took his time in showing us on a map where the main attractions, as well as good places to eat were.

The B&B de Biffi provided us a comfortable stay in a most convenient area right near the Duomo with easy walking access to all historical sites. The rooms provided all the necessities with storage space, a comfy bed, nice hot shower, microwave, fridge, and teapot. The owner/ manager and staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They gave us restaurant recommendations, stored our luggage while we visited Rome, called for our taxi, and even surprised us with a delicious cannoli treat.

Molto carino. Personale disponibile e gentile. Nulla da dire! Bravi.

Villa del 1400 immersed in a garden with an incredible view. The restaurant is located on the ground floor. To greet us, Riccardo, landlord with polite, polite manners, greeted and accompanied us in one of the three dining rooms. Fantastic scenery with ceiling sometimes, where once were located the stables. Elegantly furnished, the light suffuses creates a relaxing atmosphere. The equipment is simple, but everything is chosen with taste and perfection.
