Firstly, the location is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Florence's main railway station, and in a good area for eating and going out. Lots of options, right on the doorstep.
It's a very quirky kind of place, with a Heaven and Hell theme, but it works very nicely. Extremely comfortable, spacious room, with a lot of attention to detail.
The shower will either appeal to you, or it won't — it's part of the bedroom, as a walk-in unit, so there's not a lot of privacy.
This is a hipster hotel done right, with coherent and consistent quirks, and design touches executed well.
My "heaven-themed" room on the second floor had a large and comfortable bed and perhaps the nicest, most plush, duvet I've ever had in a hotel. The free minibar contained water, cola, beer and nugget-sized bits of chocolate. There's also good drip coffee you can make in your room.
Florence has my heart.
For the first time a hotel has impressed me the way this hotel did, it’s just wow. As soon as I checked in, I was welcomed to the hotel and the guest service agent asked me about my plans and gave me the best recommendations I could have including a city map. When we walked to the room — even better! Such an incredible experience and a gorgeous hotel! The room was amazing, the view was wonderful and the staff was great!
During my stay everything was PERFECT!
